 There are three states of matter, solid, liquid, and gas.
 They are interconvertable among themselves upon application of heat.
 Process of transformation of solid to liquid is called Melting, and the
corresponding temperature is called Melting point/freezing point.
 Process of transformation of liquid to solid is called Freezing, and the
corresponding temperature is called freezing point.
 Process of transformation of liquid to gas is called
Boiling/Evaporation, and the corresponding temperature is called
Boiling point.
Process of transformation of gas to liquid is called Condensation, and
the corresponding temperature is called Condensation point.
Each compound has its own specific melting point, boiling point,
freezing point, and condensation point.
