Synopsis
As a group we have decided to produce a music video that has a theme of an ex abusiverelationship based on
love, and the feelings of love that remain in the two creatingfor them to hesitantly showeach other the
similar pagethat they are on through their actions when they meet once again accidentally.
Narrative- The music video takes careis aboutDrake and Rhianna in an intimaterelationship featuringanimals
such as a bull and a tropical fish and variousoutdoor landscapes.These miese en scenes all symbolises the
relationship thatthey both share.For example a bull symbolises power and dominancethat Drake has over
Rihanna.The mountain scene portrays the ups and downs and the rocky relationship they both share.Drake
continuously says‘’id take careog you’’. This shows that even though they have a rocky rel ationship,the
dominant male‘Drake’ still has feelings towards thefemale ‘Rhianna’feelings that showthat she wants to be
there for her no matter what happened in the past. The storylinefocuses on the feelings from a no longer
existingrelationship thatstill exists and them wanting to build a relationship back.
In relation to take care,our group has come up with creatingour music video as itwill be based on a
vulnerablegirl thatbreaks up with her partner and moves on but her hear is still setfor him
In our music video we will startof the scene with an establishingshotof Oxford Street panningdown to the
main character as shewill be spotted holdingan alcohol bottleand a cigarette in her other hand.She will bea
wreck as we want her to be fallingaround comingacrossas drunk froma long shot. There wi ll be a flashback
of the male character waitingfor his girlfriend to get back in a bedroom lookinganxious and angry showingin
an establishingshot.The use of the establishingshotIs to showeverything in the scene and to showwhat kind
of a person the male character is.When his girlfriend gets home he starts beatingher and abusingher by
throwing her to the floor and chucks her and her things out if the house. Next there would be more than one
scene of the main character walkingas shehas many flashbacks.Shewalks into a shop with her friend, she
bumps into her ex-boyfriend he grabs her and starts to control her again when she sees her havingfun. Close
up shot of her emotions changingform happy to sad because of his horrid actions.When she walks out of the
shop, we areintroduced to the new boyfriend. The ex-doesn’t likewhat he sees and pushes the new boyfriend
and starts a fight. She breaks down and feels likeshe cannotget away from her ex. flash back images of all the
good times that they have had together, but at the same time she has bad memories as well and starts to
panic.The new boyfriend picks her up and reassures her and cuddles her.
