By the end of the lesson, student should be able to:
1. State the names of the process involve when the natural water
cycle occur.
2. Relate any changes in water conditions when natural water
cycle occur.

1. Students watch a video that shows a rainy situation.
2. Students asked by the teacher:
What can be observed through those video?
3. Pupils give various responses based on teacher questions.
4. Teachers ask students to guess what topics that they will learn
today.

1. Students are given five minutes to write their answers on the
whiteboard.
2. Students share their answers with friends and teachers.
Activity 1
3. Students are divided into small group, then each group need
to carry out the activities based on the task cards given by
teachers.
Task card:
Materials needed:
 ped plastic bag



Steps:
1. Fill 150 ml of water into a zipped plastic bag.
2. Put the blue dye to represent the sea water.
3. Paste the zipped plastic bag outside the building. Place the plastic
at the hot spots.
4. Watch what's happening in a zipped plastic bag.
5. Leave for 30-40 minutes.
6. Sketch the natural water cycle process on the zipped plastic bag
by using a marker pen.
Activity 2
1. Students discuss the results of the activity (water cycle sketches).
2. Students prepare reports based on their work result.
3. Students' reports and results are displayed at Gallery Walk
activity.
Activity 3: Gallery Walk
1. Pupils move in groups to see reports and work from other groups.
2. Pupils make comparisons from each work result and report made.
3. Pupils do a sharing session of the result activities that have been
conducted with the guidance of teacher.
Activity 4:
1. Students watch a video about NASA The Water Cycle
[720p].wmv
2. Pupils carry out their own activities and complete the worksheet
given.
3. The group's representatives present the group discussion.
4. Students respond to the presentation made with the guidance of
the teacher.
Idea aplication 1. Students choose a cards that contain the following situations:
• Situation 1:
What will happen if the evaporation process is less occuring?
Discuss.
• Situation 2:
What will happen if the condensation process is less
occuring? Discuss.
• Situation 3:
How does the natural water cycle affect the environmental
sustainability?
2. Students discuss in groups and present the discussion results.

1. Students are required to move to four different stations and give
rate to each station activity.

3. Pupils make a conclusion based on today’s learning objective with

  • 1. DAILY LESSON PLAN SUBJECT Science CLASS 5 DATE/DAY TIME 1 hour THEME Science Material TITLE Natural Water Cycle CONTENT STANDARD 9.3.1 and 9.3.3 LEARNING STANDARD (LEARNING OUTCOME) 9.3.1 Relating the changes in water conditions with formation clouds and rain. 9.3.3 Describes the observations through sketches, TMKs, writing or oral. LEARNING OBJECTIVE (KRITERIA KEJAYAAN ) By the end of the lesson, student should be able to: 1. State the names of the process involve when the natural water cycle occur. 2. Relate any changes in water conditions when natural water cycle occur. TEACHING & LEARNING ACTIVITIES Set Induction • Activities that attract students • Inform students about the learning objectives • Stimulate memories with previous learning 1. Students watch a video that shows a rainy situation. 2. Students asked by the teacher: What can be observed through those video? 3. Pupils give various responses based on teacher questions. 4. Teachers ask students to guess what topics that they will learn today. Idea explosion  Description of learning content  Examples and demonstratio ns 1. Students are asked with some questions (brainstorm) about water: a) Where is the water coming from? b) How does it happen? c) How is the river formed? d) How is the sea formed?
  • 2.  Training opportunities  Guidance and continuous feedback  Giving learning diversity Idea Restructuring 1. Students are given five minutes to write their answers on the whiteboard. 2. Students share their answers with friends and teachers. Activity 1 3. Students are divided into small group, then each group need to carry out the activities based on the task cards given by teachers. Task card: Materials needed:  ped plastic bag    Steps: 1. Fill 150 ml of water into a zipped plastic bag. 2. Put the blue dye to represent the sea water. 3. Paste the zipped plastic bag outside the building. Place the plastic at the hot spots. 4. Watch what's happening in a zipped plastic bag. 5. Leave for 30-40 minutes. 6. Sketch the natural water cycle process on the zipped plastic bag by using a marker pen. Activity 2 1. Students discuss the results of the activity (water cycle sketches). 2. Students prepare reports based on their work result. 3. Students' reports and results are displayed at Gallery Walk activity. Activity 3: Gallery Walk 1. Pupils move in groups to see reports and work from other groups.
  • 3. 2. Pupils make comparisons from each work result and report made. 3. Pupils do a sharing session of the result activities that have been conducted with the guidance of teacher. Activity 4: 1. Students watch a video about NASA The Water Cycle [720p].wmv 2. Pupils carry out their own activities and complete the worksheet given. 3. The group's representatives present the group discussion. 4. Students respond to the presentation made with the guidance of the teacher. Idea aplication 1. Students choose a cards that contain the following situations: • Situation 1: What will happen if the evaporation process is less occuring? Discuss. • Situation 2: What will happen if the condensation process is less occuring? Discuss. • Situation 3: How does the natural water cycle affect the environmental sustainability? 2. Students discuss in groups and present the discussion results. Closure • Students make conclusions or reflections on the learning topics 1. Students are required to move to four different stations and give rate to each station activity. Station 1: Diorama of natural water cycle Station 2: Natural water cycle song
  • 4. Station 3: Natural water cycle booklet Station 4: Natural water cycle interactive book 2. Pupil responds by indicating signals of understanding (traffic light board) 3.
