- Lets get started by taking a brief look at how we are evolving the user experience of library users. What I’d like to focus on today is the work to improve the user experience of the ProQuest platform. You’ll see how we’ve improved the document viewing experience on ProQuest. We’ll use enhancements to the search results page to illustrate ways we’ve decluttered the user interface to navigate to the search results that matter most. We’ll share the new responsive design elements and how it adapts to the users device for the best experience possible. And…throughout you’ll see the new ProQuest design framework which unifies our products in a common look and feel, while still giving the best experience for that
- SLIDE NOTES With users increasingly accessing library managed content from discovery services like Summon and Ex Libris Primo Central, or through open web sites like PubMed and Google Scholar, the document page takes on special meaning as a landing page. In fact our own analytical data shows that approximately 40% of users are accessing documents on ProQuest directly from discovery services. Thus, the document page now must also serve as a jump off point for related research, in addition to its primary role of providing the user with the expected content in readable and easily digestible format.
