Dear Hiring Manager,
It is with great pleasure that I write this reference letter for Michele Monfuletho. Michele worked in our Talent
Acquisition group at Life Technologies, located in Grand Island NY, during 2012. Life Technologies is a major
contributor in a $500M bio-production manufacturing network, operating under very stringent manufacturing and
quality requirements.
During 2011, the manufacturing operation experienced a substantial amount of growth, requiring an increase in
staffing. Michele joined the Life Technologies team in January of 2012, and was tasked with supporting the
staffing increase by quickly identifying high quality talent and establishing a pipeline of candidates. The hiring
campaign encompassed many open positions, ranging from technical to entry level manufacturing, which Michele
adapted to easily.
The positions were spread across three shifts and more than six departments, making the coordination and
tracking of the interviews a critical function for success. Michele established a comprehensive list of all open
positions, using the list to give site leadership routine updates on progress. Several times, changing business
demands required us to balance the workforce by transferring open requisitions from one department to another.
Michele handled these changes with professionalism, even though it created extra work for her.
Michele approached the task in a very organized manner, meeting with the hiring managers to establish clear
requirements for each of the open requisitions. She took the time to interview me, capturing details and required
skills that were not documented in existing job descriptions. Her diligence at the start of the process created a
pool of high quality candidates that allowed us to quickly fill eleven positions within six months.
The hiring campaign above highlights Michele’s abilities as a Talent Acquisition Professional. She is able to
comfortably sit at the table with Managers from any level of the organization, identify their needs, turn those
needs into required skills, and then locate talent capable of routinely demonstrating those skills. I highly
recommend her and know she will succeed at any task you give her. If you need any additional information, you
may contact me at 716-474-3173.
Sincerely,
David S. Verner
