2. WHAT’S LINO CUTTING
Lino cutting is the reproduction method to control. you will only
need a few tools then offers a wide range of effects the basic value
of relief printing is that the white areas that you’ve designed will be
removed from the block, so that the areas that you left with are inked
are printed to create the image required.
3. STEP1
You will need:
A pencil
A lino block
A V tool
A tracing paper
Designed my idea onto the surface of the lino with a pencil and then
I’ve transferred my drawing onto the lino using tracing paper.
4. STEP 2
I took the V-tool to cut the basic elements of my design
and for the lines which will print it white, and then I used a
gouge for wider lines and for removing larger areas.
5. STEP 3
Took the roller and went all over the ink onto the lino block
few times in different ways to confirm an even supply of ink.
6. STEP 4
Put the paper against the inked lino block and rub with
something smooth like the back of a spoon till the design
goes throw the paper.
7. STEP 5
Lift part of the paper off the lino to see the progress of
the image rub till an adequate print is found
8. WHAT IS LASER PRINTING
Laser printing is a digital way of printing that is quickest
way of printing high quality text and images by going through
a laser beam and over a charged drum to define a
differentially charged image. The drum selectively collects
charged toner and then transfers the image to the paper,
which is then heated to fix the image for the paper
9. ADVANTAGE

Offset Lithography is a commonly used printing method in
which the inked image is moved from a plate to a rubber blanket then
to the printing surface.
12. ADVANTAGE
You can get thousands of copies in one go
It’s much quicker then other printers
