Analysis Of The Cat In The Hat
INTRODUCTION The Cat In The Hat, by Dr. Seuss, is a well known book about a silly cat, two young kids, and a big mess. This short story starts
off by showing the two young kids sitting at home all alone and bored. All of the sudden, a cat comes out of nowhere and begins to show the kids
how to have fun. However, his idea of fun is not very clean and he begins to make a mess everywhere he goes. The kids are too busy joining in the
"fun" to notice what a mess this mysterious cat is making. The only thing that notices and wants to put a stop to it is the kid's pet goldfish. The fish
mentions over and over how he does not like this and wishes the cat would go away. Nobody pays any attention to him and now mother is almost
home and could see the mess! The fish, who has now taken control, calls out orders and gets the house back in shape just as mother is walking in the
door. The fish really saved the children here and proves that he is concerned for their, and the house's, well being. This is where my argument comes
in. I say that the kid's small pet goldfish is the real guardian of the house. The fish proved that he can take control and save what is his when it was
really needed. To prove that the fish was the true guardian he could be compared to a guardian angel, he would do anything to protect what is his, and
he even took complete control when it was really needed. FIRST PROOF The first thing that the fish did to prove that he was the real guardian of the

Summary Of A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings
Plot Though there are many conflicts in "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings" the main conflict is man vs. society. The angel is found in
Pelayo's courtyard and is then moved into the chicken coop. Once word of the angel spreads people come to watch him. The townspeople flock to
the angel even though they are not entirely sure what he is. Most are skeptical about whether or not he is actually an angel because the miracles
he preforms were not what was expected. They threw rocks to try to wake him up. At one point they even branded him with a branding iron. Once
the spider woman comes to town the townspeople forgot all about the angel and flock to her. The structural climax is when the spider woman
comes to town and all of the townspeople leave the angel to spectate her. For me the emotional climax starts when the reader is lead to believe the
angel is dying. We are then given a glimmer of hope that he won't die. The emotional climax is when the angel starts flying and eventually flies
away. Setting The story takes place in a small coastal town. A specific country or region is never given, but based on the main characters' names we
can infer it takes place in a predominantly Hispanic country or region. The setting remains in the town for the whole story and mainly takes place at
Pelayo's house. Assuming that Pelayo's son started school at five or six and he was a newborn at the start of the story, it would have occurred over
the span of about six years. The year is never

Uncovering the Third Man Essay
While many things distinguish people from one another, there is one thing that links every human being together: destination. No matter how different
two people may live their lives, they will both end it with death. Although it is impossible to avoid this destination, could prolonging it be a capability
of all human beings? A phenomenon taking over the globe is doing just that, allowing people to see another day even after looking into the eyes of
death. Better known as a guardian angel, this phenomenon of what has become to be known as the third man is just that, a guardian angel. As the
documentary "The Angel Effect" explains, the name of this miraculous survival tool came from the first time this phantom appeared. Sir Ernest ... Show

While Sevigny thought this was the end for him, the third man had other plans for him. As he threw in the towel of life, an odd sensation came
over him, and he felt someone behind him. Following this mysterious sensation was a voice that Sevigny told CNN said, "No, you can't give up.
You have to live" (Blake 1). According to Sevigny, the voice was warm and nurturing as it gave him practical advice necessary to survive. While
the voice told Sevigny several things, such as, put on your jacket, get water, leave a blood trail, and constant encouragement, he was led by the
presence back to his campsite. After arriving to the campsite, three skiers were able to bring Sevigny to safety. As he was rescued, the presence left
Sevigny. Looking back on the situation, Sevigny says, "If it wasn't for the Third Man, I would be dead. There's no way that I would have the
strength to get up and walk across that valley and do the things I did to survive" (qtd. in Blake). While Sevigny owes the continuation of his life to a
mysterious presence, he is not alone. In fact, according to a new study of the nation's religious beliefs shows, "55 percent of adults– including one in
five who say they have no religion– believe they have been protected from harm by a guardian angel" (Grossman 1). Over half of America's adults
have prolonged their lives with the help of someone or something, but the world still has yet to discover how this presence is created. Multiple

Why Lsd And Magic Mushrooms
Once again, eyes burning from exhaustion, fingers near whittled to the bone, heart pumping with caffeine and nicotine, I find myself ensnared in the
vast tangles of the inter–web, each title ever more enticing than the last. Peculiarly, this time it was a Time article entitled–"Do LSD and Magic
Mushrooms Have a Place In Medicine," by Alexandra Sifferlan. Again, my natural instinctual wonder takes control and I click. I was surprised to see
how many experts in disarray by its schedule–I illegality. The article briefly notes multiple records of scientific research to support their articles main
idea. Due to the metaphysical sense of inadequacy the article and its' references left with me, I dug harder. I checked their sources to find only
dead–end paths of knowledge. Beginning to feel like a chameleon in a mirrored box, I stepped towards my final gleam of hope. The Atlantic article
"Seeing Opportunity in Psychedelic Drugs," by Matt Shiavenza, had several promising sources but alas no leads. Drenched in discouragement,
disaffected, and suffocating in a sea of endless links, the Guardian article "Healing trip: How psychedelic drugs could help treat depression" by David
Derbyshire, was the breath of sweet truth I'd been so desperately craving; pure objective data with direct in–citation links to universities' and medical
institutions' research and journal publications. Finally, I knew the article was not delusive, but instead, based upon inalienable scientific knowledge.

Roblox Monologue
Hello, UniCess, or Roblox3030303 As you may know, I am what you may consider a creep or freak. I'm here to explain the incident that occurred
during that Skype call in early August. That day when I added you to a call I was talking to my friend Ed. That change in camera angle was a
complete accident. If you recall, there was a banging sound when my camera angle "descended". The change in position was because a ruler in one
of the open pockets on the desk was overflowing with stuff and fell out, hitting my laptop. Ever since then, I had hoped to explain the situation to you,
but I had to way of contacting you. So I waited. Continued on Roblox. Meeting new people, gaining followers and fame, and even becoming a bit rich

Personal Narrative Experience : My Personal Experience
My family and I just arrived at Dunroamin Park in Caledonia, Minnesota. We attend our annual family reunion campout here every year. My
siblings and I went straight to the pool after we finished setting up the camper. I was playing in the pool with a bunch of my cousins and having a
good time when my older brother tapped me on the shoulder. "Do you want to go to the arcade with me and some of our cousins?" he asked. I
jumped out of the water in one swift move. "Yes!" I shouted with sheer excitement. "Let's go back to the camper and change before we go." "Will
you give me a piggyback ride?" I asked my brother. Reluctantly he agreed and I hopped on to his back. We proceeded out of pool gate and back
down the hill to our campsite. We met up with our sister who left moments before us. On the walk back my sister was cracking jokes and making
me and my brother laugh. We were laughing so much it made it difficult for him the carry me, but he never put me down until we reached our site.
He set me down and I darted to the camper to change. When I walked in the door I heard my mom's phone ringing I quickly grabbed it and took it
out to her. I ran back inside eager to go to the arcade. I threw on a shirt and a pair of athletic shorts slipped on some flip flops and went back outside.
I started skipping across our campsite toward my brother and sister who were waiting for me to finish changing. A smile still stretched across my face
from the jokes my sister had been telling. I reached

John Geiger's The Guardian Angel
John Geiger enters to chapter four speaking about a british neurologist, MacDonald Critchley, who served in the royal navy in WWII. John tells the
story that Critchley would have many testimonies told to him about a guardian angel, this motif popping up many times from his companions, who
happen to be very religious. This sparked John's mind and tried to make these connections from chapter one through four with the idea of christianity.
He went far back in time to only realize that once again there are these testimonies about a being, "The Guardian Angel." John quotes a lot from the
bible with quotes alluding to god sending angels towards those in need, he feels that this information is very interesting and crazy, as in woah. Yet he
feels that this is more on the side with people of fate, he wonders what it could be for those who want to find a more scientific explanation, and crazy
enough he wants to see if humanity can evolve to understand that presence or to see it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is a story about an aviator, Charles lindbergh, who was in a crisis, but there came the presence, only this time he felt that the they were
"familiar". This made the psychologist think, there were other testimonies about familiar events that occured which the victim felt that the presence
was someone that they knew but recently passed away or someone they love. Also back to the EUE term, Heron believes that the change of
environment also makes the brain function to have the sense of survival, "to not have a sense of vigilance, but of wakefulness" (John 88) He believes
that evolution caused this, that humans have evolved for their minds to have that mentality to stay alive, that these being of the "Third Man Factor"
help humans survive through rough times. This makes John think of the radical idea if "we are not alone" (John 103)but there is still more to

The Guardian Angel Home formed on October 19, 1897. The original home, under the supervision of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate
cared for dependent and neglected children. During our formative years, we outgrew two locations moving into our current building in 1926. We
changed our name to Guardian Angel Community Services (GACS) in 2005. Throughout the years, we have given shelter, education, security, and
loving guidance to hundreds of children. With an increase in the complexity of children and families, we revised our operations in 1971. We became
a licensed child welfare agency in 1973, recognized for providing a full range of services to benefit children and families. The Sexual Assault Service

Guardian Angel Short Story
"If I could be something in someone's life I would be their Guardian angel." –Phora
Growing up we don't really know what we can come across to, we all know when we were little we dreamed of a big happy family and so many
more blessings in life. Then you end up growing up and nothing is as how you dreamed of. Your whole personality changes due to certain things, you
become less happy, and irrelevant.
I remember exactly how I was able to know about this great human creature Phora. It was about four years ago. I remember being on snapchat when I
was viewing my cousins snapchat story when I heard a song of his. It was "I Think I love You" The only part i was able to listen to was "Why does
every love song remind me of you why can't I make up my mind and decide what to do i'm trying to write these songs but I always end up writing
about you, I think I love you." I fell completely in love with that verse. I finally had the gut to ask my cousin who was the artist right. She told me
and i went to look for it, I had finally found it. It was like a one day thing.
A couple weeks past by yet I hadn't had listened to that song. When it came up my playlist. I was all jamming to it When another song of his came on.
That song poured out so much emotion, feeling, life. Yes, life it made me get the shivers. As I listened to it tear after tear came out while being able to
relate with each word with pain. Deep down in my thoughts I could feel it all like if I had heard it all.

'A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings Of Desire'
Wim Wenders (the director of Wings of Desire) does not show the angels as a normally angel would be depicted. Wim Wenders uses the angels as
more of a witness than a guardian. The role of the angel's in Wings of Desire is to see. They move silently through the city of Berlin; watching and
listening to the actions taking place around them. The angels are there to show you are not alone. This film shows what it is like to see what is taking
place around you, but not being able to engage in. This depiction would differ from an orthodox understanding of angels because the angels in the film
do not engage themselves in the actions taking place. A typical representation of an angel would be the guardian angel. A guardian angel is one that is

After discovering the man with enormous wings, Pelayo and his wife, Elisenda, come to the conclusion that the man is an angel. ""He's an angel,"
she told them. "He must have been coming for the child, but the poor fellow is so old that the rain knocked him down."" They believe that the
angel was coming to take their sick son to Heaven. The neighbor tells the family that they should club the angel to death, while he is weak, so their
son will not be taken away. "Against the judgment of the wise neighbor woman, for whom angels in those times were the fugitive survivors of a
spiritual conspiracy, they did not have the heart to club him to death." The couple decides to take pity on the old man, especially because their son
begins to feel better. The couple decides to keep the angel in the chicken coop, and even begins charging people to come see him. "Elisenda, her
spine all twisted from sweeping up so much marketplace trash, then got the idea of fencing in the yard and charging five cents admission to see the
angel." Marquez's depiction differs from the orthodox understanding of angels in multiple ways. The family debated on whether or not to club the
angel to death, they kept the angel for selfish purposes, they were angry at the angel for trying to take their son, and they even made him as a display;

The Spiritual Influence Of Angelology And Demonology
THE SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE OF ANGELOLOGY AND DEMONOLOGY
My knowledge regarding Angelology and Demonology has increased with this class. I have a healthy understanding of how the various mythologies of
different cultures and societies through these many thousands of years have effected our interpretation of both angels and demons. All of the various
readings throughout this course have built layer upon layer as to the diverse ideas concerning angels and demons.
My personal presuppositions clearly have been influenced while opening my eyes to long held misconceptions as well as solidifying other concepts of
interpretation I have long held. The reading of the various texts; the Pseudepigrapha, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Apocrypha, various Jewish literature,
and other religious traditions and their mythologies pertaining to the historical background of the origin of evil provide the basis for a clearer
understanding and will help me in my further teaching of others regarding proper interpretations.
The readings within the Dictionary of Deities and Demons provided a thorough understanding of the nature of Lilith, the Gilgamesh mythology, the
various names of Satan, the fallen angels, etc. What is clear is how carefully balanced the origins of evil is against the loving goodness that our Father
offers us in our choices in our every day life.
The readings concerning Zoroastrianism and its various influences upon our Judaic and Christian traditions were clearly

Who Wants You Be Touched?
Who Wants to Be Touched? Society is plagued by a variety problems, rarely are the problems looked at in a positive way. "Never Too Late" is
performed by the band Three Days Grace. It was released on June 5, 2007. This particular song is the second most successful song that Three Days
Grace has done. The video has been viewed on YouTube approximately 85.6 million times. The video begins with some gentle acoustical guitar play.
We are shown a little girl in her bedroom. She appears to be waking up from a night of rest and she is met by her parents. She grasps their hands and
they start to dance and hop in a circle. The music then picks up into a heavier rock tone and we see a young woman being forcibly restrained and
dragged down a hallway. We see tears in her eyes as she looks back at the little girl dancing. We also see that the little girl has now grown a pair of
wings on her back. The music slows down again and we see the parents losing their grip on the child's hands. We are introduced to a new adult in
this section as well. He is wearing a sweater and appears to care for the child, but he shows some hesitation when he goes to touch her. The heavier
rock music picks back up and we see the little girl dart under her bed attempting to hide from something or someone. We witness the young woman
being shackled to a hospital bed. The shackles are soon replaced by the hands of the man in the sweater and we then see him flip the bed of the little
girl and discover her

Guardian Angels Research Paper
I'm sure you've heard before about Guardian Angels. The problem is this concept has been used by the Gods of Abraham. So I call them Guardian
Daemons (not demons. Read my sermon on Daemons for more info.) Contacting them: There are many ways to contact and communicate with these
daemons for those who are new. The most popular way is a Ouija Board. I recommend a homemade one, but I've seen ones that light–up and shit at the
toy store. The choice is yours. For those that don't know what a Ouija Board is, It is a board (usually made of wood, but the materials used don't
matter) that contains: the letters of the alphabet, numbers, and the words: "yes", "no", and "goodbye". The first step to contacting your guardian
daemon for the first time is to set up your board and relax while your hands are on the plachette (a triangle piece of wood with a piece of glass or
something transparent in the middle). While in a relaxed state, ask for your Guardian Daemon to reveal him/herself to you. You should begin to feel
the plachette move. Watch what the plachette spells (don't get up to write it down, that's rude. DO NOT be disrespectful to Daemons, especially your
Guardian Daemon.) Ask for its name and memorize it. Ask if... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you are done speaking to the Daemon, drag the plachette to the "goodbye spot" and thank the daemon for his/her time. When you no longer feel the
daemon's energy, turn the Ouija Board upside–down and place it in a safe place until you're ready to use it again. After you've received the name of
your Guardian Daemon and any other important information. Look for his/her sigil (a magickal symbol) and trace it on a piece of parchment. Under
the symbol, place his/her name. On the back, right down the relevant info such as the planet he/she rules over, chakra, day of the week, color etc.

Hypocrisy In Tess Of The DUrbervilles
"In religion // What damned error, but some sober brow // Will bless it, and approve it with a text // Hiding the grossness with fair ornament?" writes
William Shakespeare in the Merchant of Venice. Since Christianity's founding, the religion has often been plagued with corruption and intrigue. Hardy,
like Shakespeare, held a jaded view of Christianity in society and was skeptical of its power and morality. In Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Thomas Hardy
employs biblical allusions, color symbolism, and ironic characterization, to illustrate that religion is often laden with hypocrisy and evils of its own,
leading to corruption within the church and corruption of its teachings. Hardy's uses bible verses ironically, adding to his view that ... Show more

The phrase this is adapted from, "Oh how the mighty have fallen" from 2 Samuel 1:27 and is said in respect to Saul and his son Jonathan, who are
killed in battle. Saul is meant to be the king of Israel, but God revokes Saul's right to rule, and Jonathan 's friend David becomes the next in line. Saul
tries many times to kill David to renew his own line, and even tries to kill Jonathan, leading to resentment between father and son. This quote not
only represents the decline of the D'Urberville line but the ruin of the Durbeyfield family through the strife between father and heir, as Sir John is a
drunk and truly believes that Tess should marry a nobleman, setting the whole plot in motion. Tess falls from grace when she becomes pregnant,
while Alec rises in station when he becomes a preacher. The "mighty" and oldest line of the D'Urberville branch ends, while the newer branch,
represented by David in the bible story, flourishes. The same sin rewards Alec while punishes Tess and her family, representing the hypocrisy in how
the church treats both genders. The Bible verses in the novel serve to exemplify the hypocrisy that exists within the Christian church. Moreover,
Hardy's comparison of Angel and Tess to Adam and Eve adds to his view that religion is an insubstantial and superficial institution. First, Tess and
Angel view each other "... as if they were Adam and Eve" (130). In the Bible story, Adam is the more moral of the two, while

The Novel ' The Green Mile '
King 's novel"The Green Mile," was a depiction of horror and imagery, or as Harold Bloom stated, "visually oriented scenarios." He teased the
senses and gave an inevitable emotional twist at the end. This story follows a special inmate possessed some unworldly powers that changed
people 's fate, when he deemed worthy. John Coffey, last name "like the drink, only not spelled the same way," (King 16) plays the hand of God in
this story, when he saved a life, cured the incurable, punished the guilty, and changed the life of Paul Edgecomb inevitably. "The arrival of John
Coffey in fall of 1932 was a hot, normal day in the E Block cells"(King 5). The guards saw this man as not much of a talker, but he often cried
himself to sleep. He was sentenced there for the rape and murder of two little girls; a crime he did not commit. John Coffey was a large black man
in both height and mass, but there was an oddity sensed about this man. "Paul Edgecomb had been acquainted with many inmates over his years,
but this is the first one he offered his hand to" (King 19). "Even now I don't know why," he stated (King 19). Coffey, a simple man, who talked very
little, touched the guards hearts very quickly in his stay. From the start, it seemed Coffey knew he was going to be killed for the crime he did not
commit. "[He was] doomed and [maybe] even perhaps eager to die and put all of the pain and misery behind him"(D 'Ammassa). He had a hand for
healing, even though this man knew that life was

Jacob's Ladder is a film which draws specific conclusions on exactly what takes place in a person right before death, and the afterlife which await
them. Hell is seen as a temporary stop where people's memories and attachments are taken away so that they can enter heaven cleansed of their past life
in order that a new beginning can be had. Death is seen as something that should not be feared, it only makes your inevitable transition into the next
world more difficult, while being at peace with yourself at death allows the transition to your afterlife to run smoothly without remorse. Heaven is seen
as a good place, a place of inner tranquillity where there is no pain. The cultural attitudes of this film in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jake wakes up from a dream where he had been thinking back to that time in Vietnam, and he realises that he is on a subway with strange demon–like

has been divorced from his wife Sara for some time and that she through him out. Jake looks at old pictures of Sara and his son's Gabe and Jed, he

Jezebel became annoyed with Jake's love for his former family and takes the pictures and burns them. All of this that Jake takes to be reality is really

The Importance of Two-Parent Rearing
At this point, we all realize that parental figures are fundamental in the sound advancement of kids. As a parent, my obligation is to verify that my
child grows up protected and solid, and to equip him to be a resource for himself as well as to his group nature's turf. Again and again we fantasize
on the thought of how kids are "gathered" to be raised straying far from the things that we despised about our guardians while gaining a few things that
we got a handle on worked best. I have this discussion with my mother constantly– what is the right approach to parent? Regardless of what number of
network shows there are or what number of individuals expound on what they accept are their "victories" as folks, the reality of the situation is that
there is no right or wrong way. You try your hardest with the expectation that you've made his or her youth and juvenile encounters ones that help him

Having both folks in the house is getting less and less basic as the years pass by. I generally think about whether this has all the more a negative or
positive effect on youngsters inwardly, physically and cognitively.

History of Biblical Angels
History of Biblical Angels Throughout history, you will find many religions discuss angels. But what is an angel? Is it a mythical creature with
wings sent to protect you? Some may think so; others have different thoughts on the matter. But when did talk of angels first occur? Have they
always been around? In this paper, I will attempt to define what an angel is and what they do. I will also discuss how angels differ between
religions, as well as try to pinpoint the origin of angels. I will explain the similarities and differences between these religions and their ideas of
angels. The term angel is derived from the Greek word angelos , meaning "messenger." This word represents an earlier Hebrew word, mal'akh that
is also interpreted as the role of messenger or minister. It is safe to say that many people will regard angels as messengers between Heaven and earth.
In many biblical stories, angels are sending messages. Some messages are announcements of birth like the ones that were sent to Abraham and to
Samson's father. Other messages encourage actions as the ones did to Elijah and David. In these cases, angels were bringing messages from the divine
world, or Heaven, to men and women in the earthly human world. It is believed that the messages with angels also work in the reversed sense as well;
meaning from human being to angel to God. It is said that 'the soul speaks to the angel, the angel to the cherub, the cherub to God.' This type of
communication would explain the

Winston Churchill: Britain's Guardian Angel
Winston Churchill: Britain's Guardian Angel
The date was August, 1940. London was a mess of smoking ruins and rubble. Somber visages marked the faces of passersby, all except for a plump,
elderly man. His jowl quivered as he smiled and greeted everyone he saw; he dried the tears of a frightened child. This man was Winston Churchill,
Prime Minister of Britain during World War II. Heroes are often viewed as young, fit men who fight with physical strength, yet Winston Churchill led
Britain to victory as an old man, solely using good leadership skills and determination. Winston Churchill is an example of a modern hero and his
extraordinary odyssey fits most of the criteria of Joseph Campbell's hero's journey.
As a boy Winston was not expected to amount to anything. Born on November 30, 1874 at Blenheim Palace to an aristocratic family, he was sickly
and disinterested in all of his studies except reading. Though privileged, Churchill was neglected by both of his parents. He dropped out of two
schools before attending Harrow Boarding School. There, he developed an interest in the military, and went on to attend Sandhurst Royal Military
College. It took Churchill three tries to pass the entrance exam, but he did extremely well at Sandhurst, developing a love of horse–riding and
graduating with honors. Once out of college, Churchill joined the 4th Hussars, a gentlemen cavalry regiment, and served in India and Sudan, protecting
British colonial borders. His military experience

The Pros And Cons Of Edward Snowden
Influential resources
The question as to whether Edward Snowden is a patriot or a traitor can most certainly be deemed a debatable topic. To answer this question, one must
conduct thorough, wide–ranging exploration using outstanding source materials to gain a high degree of insight, analysis and review.
An exceptional source is an article from SIGCAS Computers & Society which is "the ACM Special Interest Group that addresses the social and
ethical consequences of widespread computer usage". It is a reliable source as it specializes on such topics (SIGCAS Computers & Society. 2017).
This article focusses on Snowden's intentions and the impact of his actions on the NSA, discussing both sides of the case. "He wholeheartedly
believes his intentions are good, but the consequences will both harm and help the people and country he loves." (Verble, J, 2014). This is the key
message of this source; there are both, positive and negative outcomes of the case which must be considered for one to make an informed opinion as
to whether he is a patriot or a traitor.
The author conveys a neutral viewpoint on the Snowden case. "What would really sour the opinion of the American public is if Snowden leaked
information to the Chinese or Russians. In an interview with The New York Times in October 2013, Snowden claimed he took no documents to Russia
because "it wouldn't serve the public interest," and that all documents were distributed to journalists in Hong Kong." (Verble, J, 2014). Here,

Guardian Angel Case Study
Sometimes a Guardian Angel is not what we think of in the typical sense such as a doctor or a nurse, but instead can be those who are willing to go
the extra mile for a patient. Steve Pantaleo was just that in the case of John Copeland and his sister, Mary Ann O'Conner, wanted to recognize him as
Guardian Angel through the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation.
Mary Ann O'Connor was concerned for the health of her brother, John Copeland, who suffers from diabetes and had no insurance. In 2007, John had
spent a month in Columbia with Necrotizing Fasciitis (a bacterial skin infection) related to a fall and extremely low blood sugars. This, complicated
with diabetes, led to his long stay at the hospital. After the incident, he found a provider ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

common and it made it easier to where I didn't even think twice. He is just a great guy and has helped a lot of people."
Mary decided to recognize Steve for the Guardian Angel since she knew it was out there for everyone to see and had a lasting effect. She made a
contribution to the Greatest Needs fund since it was where it could help someone in a similar situation as her brother's.
"The Guardian Angel gave me an avenue for rewarding someone and do something good for another cause too," she said.
As for John, his blood sugar levels are under control, he is getting routine doctor visits and if something starts to happen then he can go to the Doctor
and get checked out without concerns of insurance

My Reflection On My Personal Statement
My personal mission statement is as follows: To be a positive and influential person in society while still being myself at all times.
Core Values: The Power of Positivity: I one thing I pride myself on is being one of the most positive people out there. I have been through a lot over
my life time and therefore there are only a limited amount of things that bring me down. I show my positivity by always smiling and always laughing.
Laughing is something that I cannot control all the time and I tend to laugh at random works such as pudding for no reason. I attribute this to the fact
that I am so positive and enjoy all aspects of life.
Faith defines me: Since kindergarten I have always attended a catholic school. Going to a catholic high school influenced my decision to choose to
DeSales to further my education. One of my extra electives I took at DeSales was Introduction to the Devout Life, so I could learn about the
teachings of our school's namesake. I also value praying which is something I do every night before bed, thanking God for three things that I was
thankful for in my day and ask God to help me improve on one thing for the following day.
Friends are a top priority: Friends mean everything to me. Though I have lost touch with most of high school friends. The bond that I have discovered
in college with my closet friends will last for a very long time. The relationship I value the most when it comes to friends is the relationship with my
girlfriend. She is

An Essay About Angels
You are never alone in this life, do not give up, ask the Angels for help. They will answer. Ask for their help but through the Will of God The Blessed
Mother Mary is the Queen of the Angels of Heaven.
Angels are constantly around us, so feel free to call upon them for help. That is a joyful work for them helping people on earth. Angels love to help
us. Remember after an Angel gives you a Blessing; say Thank you. They truly appreciate when you are kind to them. Contacting angels is a process. It
takes about three to five minutes to fully contact with them. Tell the angels your requests, be strong and confident when speaking to them. State your
concern clearly. Explain what you truly need in your life. Tell them you need your request in a certain amount of... Show more content on

I am also including other women that are mother figures as well. Male relatives of course can do the same.
I do ask their help and know they are always on my side ready to offer you what they are able according to the highest will of God, always. The angels
understand free will, and you need to be careful that you know exactly what you are asking for. Careful what you wish for, it just might come true.
The magic number for angels is three. Ask three times over a space of time, and each time you ask try to make it stronger. In that way they realize
what you truly want. When you are speaking to a specific angel it is important to give them respect. They appreciate candles lit to them, soft classical
music, the tone of your voice while speaking their name, incense, crystals, candles, poetry, and polite words. I was told once there are about twelve
different ways they communicate with us, we just need to tune into the possibilities. Some of these ways are a penney from Heaven, favorite smells,
thunderstorms, favorite songs, numbers, dreams, favorite objects, nature, prayer, meditation, writing, and putting ideas into your

M&S also needs to look at its pricing strategy's because for a long time they relied on their strong brand image to allow them to charge the
premium prices. However with recent sales falling dramatically this would be a key area for them to review. Consumers are now looking for
cheaper alternatives especially in clothing because trends are always changing. Cheaper forms of production such as moving areas of production
abroad where labour is cheap has allowed companies to spend less and therefore sell items more cheaply. M&S products have become more elastic
as people are no longer buying into the brand and go for cheaper substitutes. The diagram below shows how the product is elastic, people will still
buy the products at a higher price as they buy into the brand image however a small amount of customers will be lost due to cheaper alternatives as
illustrated below; M&S were too busy concentrating on expanding abroad and as a result the UK sales started to drop. M&S did not spend a lot of
time or finance on advertising. It was a policy of there's to run a low key advertising campaign and relied heavily on their strong brand image and
prominent location of their stores to promote new ranges. Also M&S moved production abroad in order to keep production costs down but this
resulted in roughly 60,000 jobs being lost in the British textile industry, and

Christian Doctrine: Angels are Warriors of God
Many things may come to mind when you think of the word, angel. You probably think of winged beings who sit on clouds all day singing and
playing lyres. If you had thought that, you are wrong, very wrong. Angels are warriors of God, abiding by His Laws and His Laws only. They are
protectors of earth and its inhabitants and sometimes, the destroyers. An angel's importance may not be widely known, but their job for us will never
be forgotten. Angels are pure spirits that were created by God. The English word, angel, comes from a Greek translation, angelos, meaning messenger.
However, there are two exceptions. The Hebrew word, malak, is another word for angel or messenger. The Old Testament had a belief in angels,
because they had no doubt ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first angels mentioned was the Cherubim in Genesis 3:14. Cherubim have four wings, which are all used for flying. They stand for Wisdom, or
the one who prays. Being the record keepers of heaven, they are the only ones allowed that can stand by God's Throne. Cherubim are more closely
linked to God's Glory, because they symbolize God's power and mobility. Thrones are the third ranking order. They are highly known as wheels and the
many–eyed ones, because they have four faces and four wings. Their wings shone like burnished brass and were combined. Their wings make a
noise of great waters. Thrones had a face of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle. Above their many heads stood a shining "likeness of firmament",
which was the color of crystal. Since they carried out God's decisions, they were angels of justice. Thrones were angels of pure humility as well as
submission and peace. Dominions were the fourth ranking order. They decide the failure or success of a nation or nations. Seeing that they make
known God's commands, they regulate all the angels. This makes them angels of leadership. Most are seen as wearing long albs, which are gowns
reaching their feet, that were hitched with a golden belt, and sometimes adorned with a green sole. In the dominion's right hand, they carry a golden
staff while holding a Seal of God in their left. Sometimes, they carry an orb or scepter in their hands. Virtues are the fifth ranking order. Being the

The Warrior Angels: A Letter To The Warrior Angels
The Warrior Angels, commonly known as the Powers, patrol and protect all that is within the cosmic fabric. They are clad in armor of blinding white
light and carry swords of fire and light. The sole purpose of these angelic warriors, which includes Archangels Michael and Cassiel, is to provide Divine
protection. They stand wing tip to wing tip facing outward in a circle around that which they are protecting, and using both their vambraces and swords
of light deflect any and all negativity away from our sacred space. Anytime that we feel threatened by negative forces, including the malicious intentions
of others, people with a strong negative vibration or attitude, dangerous situations, or even the onslaught or existence of evil, for example, we can call
on them for protection for ourselves as well as for others. They will come, not one, but many, because they work as a cooperative group for the
protection of all. The greater the threat or danger, the greater the number of those who come. It is important to note, however, that these angels (or any
angels) will never interfere with the course of our karmic path, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Angels In The Christian Bible
ngels are known to be messengers of God, often depicted to be winged creatures. These supernatural beings are believed widely in many religions,
including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and even Hinduism. Angels are mystical beings that serve as a link or an intermediary between man and his
Supreme Creator. In the Christian Bible, they are known to be the attendants to God's throne, God's messenger to his people, and personal guardians
to each and every person. While there are also evil angels or fallen angels, the divine angels are the ones that people can look up to for guidance and
help.
It is possible to ask help from guardian angels as it is believed that every one has them. In Hebrews for example, angels are referred to as ministering
spirits who are sent to provide guidance to the world, for the sake of salvation. Angels are known to communicate to mere mortals in many ways. They
can work through the intuition; but one of the most common means in communicating is through dreams. In the Bible for example, people and
prophets were often depicted to be conversing with angels through dreams. Often they would receive messages, warnings or good tidings from these
mystical creatures whether through dreams or through apparitions. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the Angel Michael to help the town of Angel Falls find its Christmas spirit again.
First of all, I want to say that this film surpassed all my expectations. Sometimes, I am hesitant when it comes to "angel films," but because of who
the three stars are (and especially because of the male lead), I was determined to give this film a chance. Furthermore, it is airing on Hallmark, and
how could I not watch it? If you are looking for a film that follows the Scriptural teachings of angels, this might not be for you. I could speak to all the
reasons why the theology of the movie is unsound, but that is not why I watched this film. The film is so uncommonly well–written and acted with
such depth that I could care less about whether the story could ever happen or not. The values of the film are intact, and if nothing else, I applaud
Hallmark for emphasizing the concept of "free will" (something most Christians and church people esteem) and including the Lord's Prayer (how often
do we see that on network TV?). I did not plan on becoming emotional during this movie, but I literally spent the last twenty minutes or so crying off
and on because the story was remarkably poignant (and I wasn't certain how it would end) and the three main actors––Rachel Boston, Paul Greene, and
Beau Bridges––are such phenomenal artists!

I learned it too late. Everyone's life matters, even mine. Or at least it did, but now I have no life. I was ready to give up when I took that bottle of

purpose: save them. In my past life, I was Sarah Sorenson. I was a pretty, popular teenage girl who could turn heads just by breathing. I was that one
girl everyone either wanted to be or be with. To everyone, I had the perfect life, although no one saw who I truly was. Growing up in New York City, it
is easy for people to just look at the outside and not care what is going on in the inside. No one saw the girl who was top of her class, or the musical

My Guardian Angel When I think about who has special meaning in my life, I think of only one thing. I once was full of despair and thought

In Hebrews 13:2, he learned that angels often show up in human form. It says...
"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
His deductive reasoning went to work. 'If angels show up in human form, where in Scripture is the basis for the orbs that these pastor's claims are in

Speech About The Archangel Ariel
The Archangel Ariel embodies feminine strength and encourages strength through gentle means, only using force when absolutely necessary. She is the
lioness of the angelic realm, and as such, she champions those who cannot fend for themselves and are often victims of the power of others,
particularly women, children, and animals. When Daniel was thrown into the lions' den to be mauled and devoured, for example, her angelic presence
interceded, held the lions at bay, and protected Daniel's life. She helped him to soothe the lions and to lay down with them without fear or danger.

with paper clips–one pile is finished work, and the other is unfinished. I ran out my door and hurried downstairs, not caring to turn off my lights.
"What is it?" I asked, knowing it could be anything. "Your dog peed on the rug again," she said, with a mad attitude, "When will you potty–train your

Just call her Chloe, so she gets used to the name." "Fine," she agreed "and by the way, your dog keeps going into that 'haunted house' down the

the news that Cindelaras' chicken was undefeatable and he got invited to the king's kingdom because he was very amused. When he arrived, he went to
the king's throne and the king asked him to competer his chicken and Cindelaras'. If he win, he could kill Cindelaras, but if Cindelaras win, he could
have half of the king's kindgdom. But before the competetion started, Cindelaras' chicken said the same thing. "Cindelaras, home in the middle of
the jungle, coconut leaf as its roof, the son of King Raden Putra..." The king was shocked of what he had heard. Cindelaras then told the king the true
story. The king was very mad and he asked all of his guardians to bring his concubine out of his kingdom, and kill her right away. After the concubine
was banned out of the kingdom, the king was very happy and he instructed his guardians to take his wife from the jungle and

Analysis Of The Cat In The Hat

  • 1. Analysis Of The Cat In The Hat INTRODUCTION The Cat In The Hat, by Dr. Seuss, is a well known book about a silly cat, two young kids, and a big mess. This short story starts off by showing the two young kids sitting at home all alone and bored. All of the sudden, a cat comes out of nowhere and begins to show the kids how to have fun. However, his idea of fun is not very clean and he begins to make a mess everywhere he goes. The kids are too busy joining in the "fun" to notice what a mess this mysterious cat is making. The only thing that notices and wants to put a stop to it is the kid's pet goldfish. The fish mentions over and over how he does not like this and wishes the cat would go away. Nobody pays any attention to him and now mother is almost home and could see the mess! The fish, who has now taken control, calls out orders and gets the house back in shape just as mother is walking in the door. The fish really saved the children here and proves that he is concerned for their, and the house's, well being. This is where my argument comes in. I say that the kid's small pet goldfish is the real guardian of the house. The fish proved that he can take control and save what is his when it was really needed. To prove that the fish was the true guardian he could be compared to a guardian angel, he would do anything to protect what is his, and he even took complete control when it was really needed. FIRST PROOF The first thing that the fish did to prove that he was the real guardian of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Summary Of A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings Plot Though there are many conflicts in "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings" the main conflict is man vs. society. The angel is found in Pelayo's courtyard and is then moved into the chicken coop. Once word of the angel spreads people come to watch him. The townspeople flock to the angel even though they are not entirely sure what he is. Most are skeptical about whether or not he is actually an angel because the miracles he preforms were not what was expected. They threw rocks to try to wake him up. At one point they even branded him with a branding iron. Once the spider woman comes to town the townspeople forgot all about the angel and flock to her. The structural climax is when the spider woman comes to town and all of the townspeople leave the angel to spectate her. For me the emotional climax starts when the reader is lead to believe the angel is dying. We are then given a glimmer of hope that he won't die. The emotional climax is when the angel starts flying and eventually flies away. Setting The story takes place in a small coastal town. A specific country or region is never given, but based on the main characters' names we can infer it takes place in a predominantly Hispanic country or region. The setting remains in the town for the whole story and mainly takes place at Pelayo's house. Assuming that Pelayo's son started school at five or six and he was a newborn at the start of the story, it would have occurred over the span of about six years. The year is never ... • 3. Uncovering the Third Man Essay While many things distinguish people from one another, there is one thing that links every human being together: destination. No matter how different two people may live their lives, they will both end it with death. Although it is impossible to avoid this destination, could prolonging it be a capability of all human beings? A phenomenon taking over the globe is doing just that, allowing people to see another day even after looking into the eyes of death. Better known as a guardian angel, this phenomenon of what has become to be known as the third man is just that, a guardian angel. As the documentary "The Angel Effect" explains, the name of this miraculous survival tool came from the first time this phantom appeared. Sir Ernest ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While Sevigny thought this was the end for him, the third man had other plans for him. As he threw in the towel of life, an odd sensation came over him, and he felt someone behind him. Following this mysterious sensation was a voice that Sevigny told CNN said, "No, you can't give up. You have to live" (Blake 1). According to Sevigny, the voice was warm and nurturing as it gave him practical advice necessary to survive. While the voice told Sevigny several things, such as, put on your jacket, get water, leave a blood trail, and constant encouragement, he was led by the presence back to his campsite. After arriving to the campsite, three skiers were able to bring Sevigny to safety. As he was rescued, the presence left Sevigny. Looking back on the situation, Sevigny says, "If it wasn't for the Third Man, I would be dead. There's no way that I would have the strength to get up and walk across that valley and do the things I did to survive" (qtd. in Blake). While Sevigny owes the continuation of his life to a mysterious presence, he is not alone. In fact, according to a new study of the nation's religious beliefs shows, "55 percent of adults– including one in five who say they have no religion– believe they have been protected from harm by a guardian angel" (Grossman 1). Over half of America's adults have prolonged their lives with the help of someone or something, but the world still has yet to discover how this presence is created. Multiple supernatural and ... • 4. Why Lsd And Magic Mushrooms Once again, eyes burning from exhaustion, fingers near whittled to the bone, heart pumping with caffeine and nicotine, I find myself ensnared in the vast tangles of the inter–web, each title ever more enticing than the last. Peculiarly, this time it was a Time article entitled–"Do LSD and Magic Mushrooms Have a Place In Medicine," by Alexandra Sifferlan. Again, my natural instinctual wonder takes control and I click. I was surprised to see how many experts in disarray by its schedule–I illegality. The article briefly notes multiple records of scientific research to support their articles main idea. Due to the metaphysical sense of inadequacy the article and its' references left with me, I dug harder. I checked their sources to find only dead–end paths of knowledge. Beginning to feel like a chameleon in a mirrored box, I stepped towards my final gleam of hope. The Atlantic article "Seeing Opportunity in Psychedelic Drugs," by Matt Shiavenza, had several promising sources but alas no leads. Drenched in discouragement, disaffected, and suffocating in a sea of endless links, the Guardian article "Healing trip: How psychedelic drugs could help treat depression" by David Derbyshire, was the breath of sweet truth I'd been so desperately craving; pure objective data with direct in–citation links to universities' and medical institutions' research and journal publications. Finally, I knew the article was not delusive, but instead, based upon inalienable scientific knowledge. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I'm here to explain the incident that occurred during that Skype call in early August. That day when I added you to a call I was talking to my friend Ed. That change in camera angle was a complete accident. If you recall, there was a banging sound when my camera angle "descended". The change in position was because a ruler in one of the open pockets on the desk was overflowing with stuff and fell out, hitting my laptop. • 6. Personal Narrative Experience : My Personal Experience My family and I just arrived at Dunroamin Park in Caledonia, Minnesota. We attend our annual family reunion campout here every year. My siblings and I went straight to the pool after we finished setting up the camper. I was playing in the pool with a bunch of my cousins and having a good time when my older brother tapped me on the shoulder. "Do you want to go to the arcade with me and some of our cousins?" he asked. I jumped out of the water in one swift move. "Yes!" I shouted with sheer excitement. "Let's go back to the camper and change before we go." "Will you give me a piggyback ride?" I asked my brother. Reluctantly he agreed and I hopped on to his back. We proceeded out of pool gate and back down the hill to our campsite. We met up with our sister who left moments before us. On the walk back my sister was cracking jokes and making me and my brother laugh. We were laughing so much it made it difficult for him the carry me, but he never put me down until we reached our site. He set me down and I darted to the camper to change. When I walked in the door I heard my mom's phone ringing I quickly grabbed it and took it out to her. I ran back inside eager to go to the arcade. I threw on a shirt and a pair of athletic shorts slipped on some flip flops and went back outside. I started skipping across our campsite toward my brother and sister who were waiting for me to finish changing. A smile still stretched across my face from the jokes my sister had been telling. • 7. John Geiger's The Guardian Angel John Geiger enters to chapter four speaking about a british neurologist, MacDonald Critchley, who served in the royal navy in WWII. John tells the story that Critchley would have many testimonies told to him about a guardian angel, this motif popping up many times from his companions, who happen to be very religious. This sparked John's mind and tried to make these connections from chapter one through four with the idea of christianity. He went far back in time to only realize that once again there are these testimonies about a being, "The Guardian Angel." John quotes a lot from the bible with quotes alluding to god sending angels towards those in need, he feels that this information is very interesting and crazy, as in woah. Yet he feels that this is more on the side with people of fate, he wonders what it could be for those who want to find a more scientific explanation, and crazy enough he wants to see if humanity can evolve to understand that presence or to see it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There is a story about an aviator, Charles lindbergh, who was in a crisis, but there came the presence, only this time he felt that the they were "familiar". This made the psychologist think, there were other testimonies about familiar events that occured which the victim felt that the presence was someone that they knew but recently passed away or someone they love. Also back to the EUE term, Heron believes that the change of environment also makes the brain function to have the sense of survival, "to not have a sense of vigilance, but of wakefulness" (John 88) He believes that evolution caused this, that humans have evolved for their minds to have that mentality to stay alive, that these being of the "Third Man Factor" help humans survive through rough times. This makes John think of the radical idea if "we are not alone" (John 103)but there is still more to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The original home, under the supervision of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate cared for dependent and neglected children. During our formative years, we outgrew two locations moving into our current building in 1926. We changed our name to Guardian Angel Community Services (GACS) in 2005. Throughout the years, we have given shelter, education, security, and loving guidance to hundreds of children. With an increase in the complexity of children and families, we revised our operations in 1971. We became a licensed child welfare agency in 1973, recognized for providing a full range of services to benefit children and families. The Sexual Assault Service Center's beginnings ... • 9. Guardian Angel Short Story "If I could be something in someone's life I would be their Guardian angel." –Phora Growing up we don't really know what we can come across to, we all know when we were little we dreamed of a big happy family and so many more blessings in life. Then you end up growing up and nothing is as how you dreamed of. Your whole personality changes due to certain things, you become less happy, and irrelevant. I remember exactly how I was able to know about this great human creature Phora. It was about four years ago. I remember being on snapchat when I was viewing my cousins snapchat story when I heard a song of his. It was "I Think I love You" The only part i was able to listen to was "Why does every love song remind me of you why can't I make up my mind and decide what to do i'm trying to write these songs but I always end up writing about you, I think I love you." I fell completely in love with that verse. I finally had the gut to ask my cousin who was the artist right. She told me and i went to look for it, I had finally found it. It was like a one day thing. A couple weeks past by yet I hadn't had listened to that song. When it came up my playlist. I was all jamming to it When another song of his came on. That song poured out so much emotion, feeling, life. Yes, life it made me get the shivers. As I listened to it tear after tear came out while being able to relate with each word with pain. Deep down in my thoughts I could feel it all like if I had heard it all. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. 'A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings Of Desire' Wim Wenders (the director of Wings of Desire) does not show the angels as a normally angel would be depicted. Wim Wenders uses the angels as more of a witness than a guardian. The role of the angel's in Wings of Desire is to see. They move silently through the city of Berlin; watching and listening to the actions taking place around them. The angels are there to show you are not alone. This film shows what it is like to see what is taking place around you, but not being able to engage in. This depiction would differ from an orthodox understanding of angels because the angels in the film do not engage themselves in the actions taking place. A typical representation of an angel would be the guardian angel. A guardian angel is one that is appointed... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After discovering the man with enormous wings, Pelayo and his wife, Elisenda, come to the conclusion that the man is an angel. ""He's an angel," she told them. "He must have been coming for the child, but the poor fellow is so old that the rain knocked him down."" They believe that the angel was coming to take their sick son to Heaven. The neighbor tells the family that they should club the angel to death, while he is weak, so their son will not be taken away. "Against the judgment of the wise neighbor woman, for whom angels in those times were the fugitive survivors of a spiritual conspiracy, they did not have the heart to club him to death." The couple decides to take pity on the old man, especially because their son begins to feel better. The couple decides to keep the angel in the chicken coop, and even begins charging people to come see him. "Elisenda, her spine all twisted from sweeping up so much marketplace trash, then got the idea of fencing in the yard and charging five cents admission to see the angel." Marquez's depiction differs from the orthodox understanding of angels in multiple ways. • 11. The Spiritual Influence Of Angelology And Demonology THE SPIRITUAL INFLUENCE OF ANGELOLOGY AND DEMONOLOGY My knowledge regarding Angelology and Demonology has increased with this class. I have a healthy understanding of how the various mythologies of different cultures and societies through these many thousands of years have effected our interpretation of both angels and demons. All of the various readings throughout this course have built layer upon layer as to the diverse ideas concerning angels and demons. My personal presuppositions clearly have been influenced while opening my eyes to long held misconceptions as well as solidifying other concepts of interpretation I have long held. The reading of the various texts; the Pseudepigrapha, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Apocrypha, various Jewish literature, and other religious traditions and their mythologies pertaining to the historical background of the origin of evil provide the basis for a clearer understanding and will help me in my further teaching of others regarding proper interpretations. The readings within the Dictionary of Deities and Demons provided a thorough understanding of the nature of Lilith, the Gilgamesh mythology, the various names of Satan, the fallen angels, etc. What is clear is how carefully balanced the origins of evil is against the loving goodness that our Father offers us in our choices in our every day life. • 12. Who Wants You Be Touched? Who Wants to Be Touched? Society is plagued by a variety problems, rarely are the problems looked at in a positive way. "Never Too Late" is performed by the band Three Days Grace. It was released on June 5, 2007. This particular song is the second most successful song that Three Days Grace has done. The video has been viewed on YouTube approximately 85.6 million times. The video begins with some gentle acoustical guitar play. We are shown a little girl in her bedroom. She appears to be waking up from a night of rest and she is met by her parents. She grasps their hands and they start to dance and hop in a circle. The music then picks up into a heavier rock tone and we see a young woman being forcibly restrained and dragged down a hallway. We see tears in her eyes as she looks back at the little girl dancing. We also see that the little girl has now grown a pair of wings on her back. The music slows down again and we see the parents losing their grip on the child's hands. We are introduced to a new adult in this section as well. He is wearing a sweater and appears to care for the child, but he shows some hesitation when he goes to touch her. The heavier rock music picks back up and we see the little girl dart under her bed attempting to hide from something or someone. We witness the young woman being shackled to a hospital bed. The shackles are soon replaced by the hands of the man in the sweater and we then see him flip the bed of the little girl and discover her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

So I call them Guardian Daemons (not demons. Read my sermon on Daemons for more info.) Contacting them: There are many ways to contact and communicate with these daemons for those who are new. The most popular way is a Ouija Board. I recommend a homemade one, but I've seen ones that light–up and shit at the toy store. The choice is yours. For those that don't know what a Ouija Board is, It is a board (usually made of wood, but the materials used don't matter) that contains: the letters of the alphabet, numbers, and the words: "yes", "no", and "goodbye". The first step to contacting your guardian daemon for the first time is to set up your board and relax while your hands are on the plachette (a triangle piece of wood with a piece of glass or something transparent in the middle). While in a relaxed state, ask for your Guardian Daemon to reveal him/herself to you. You should begin to feel the plachette move. Watch what the plachette spells (don't get up to write it down, that's rude. DO NOT be disrespectful to Daemons, especially your Guardian Daemon.) Ask for its name and memorize it. Ask if... When you no longer feel the daemon's energy, turn the Ouija Board upside–down and place it in a safe place until you're ready to use it again. After you've received the name of your Guardian Daemon and any other important information. Look for his/her sigil (a magickal symbol) and trace it on a piece of parchment. Under the symbol, place his/her name. On the back, right down the relevant info such as the planet he/she rules over, chakra, day of the week, color etc. These will be important for calling upon him/her for ... • 14. Hypocrisy In Tess Of The DUrbervilles "In religion // What damned error, but some sober brow // Will bless it, and approve it with a text // Hiding the grossness with fair ornament?" writes William Shakespeare in the Merchant of Venice. Since Christianity's founding, the religion has often been plagued with corruption and intrigue. Hardy, like Shakespeare, held a jaded view of Christianity in society and was skeptical of its power and morality. In Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Thomas Hardy employs biblical allusions, color symbolism, and ironic characterization, to illustrate that religion is often laden with hypocrisy and evils of its own, leading to corruption within the church and corruption of its teachings. Hardy's uses bible verses ironically, adding to his view that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The phrase this is adapted from, "Oh how the mighty have fallen" from 2 Samuel 1:27 and is said in respect to Saul and his son Jonathan, who are killed in battle. Saul is meant to be the king of Israel, but God revokes Saul's right to rule, and Jonathan 's friend David becomes the next in line. Saul tries many times to kill David to renew his own line, and even tries to kill Jonathan, leading to resentment between father and son. This quote not only represents the decline of the D'Urberville line but the ruin of the Durbeyfield family through the strife between father and heir, as Sir John is a drunk and truly believes that Tess should marry a nobleman, setting the whole plot in motion. Tess falls from grace when she becomes pregnant, while Alec rises in station when he becomes a preacher. The "mighty" and oldest line of the D'Urberville branch ends, while the newer branch, represented by David in the bible story, flourishes. The same sin rewards Alec while punishes Tess and her family, representing the hypocrisy in how the church treats both genders. The Bible verses in the novel serve to exemplify the hypocrisy that exists within the Christian church. Moreover, Hardy's comparison of Angel and Tess to Adam and Eve adds to his view that religion is an insubstantial and superficial institution. First, Tess and Angel view each other "... as if they were Adam and Eve" (130). In the Bible story, Adam is the more moral of the two, while ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He teased the senses and gave an inevitable emotional twist at the end. This story follows a special inmate possessed some unworldly powers that changed people 's fate, when he deemed worthy. John Coffey, last name "like the drink, only not spelled the same way," (King 16) plays the hand of God in this story, when he saved a life, cured the incurable, punished the guilty, and changed the life of Paul Edgecomb inevitably. "The arrival of John Coffey in fall of 1932 was a hot, normal day in the E Block cells"(King 5). The guards saw this man as not much of a talker, but he often cried himself to sleep. He was sentenced there for the rape and murder of two little girls; a crime he did not commit. John Coffey was a large black man in both height and mass, but there was an oddity sensed about this man. "Paul Edgecomb had been acquainted with many inmates over his years, but this is the first one he offered his hand to" (King 19). "Even now I don't know why," he stated (King 19). Coffey, a simple man, who talked very little, touched the guards hearts very quickly in his stay. From the start, it seemed Coffey knew he was going to be killed for the crime he did not commit. • 19. History of Biblical Angels History of Biblical Angels Throughout history, you will find many religions discuss angels. But what is an angel? Is it a mythical creature with wings sent to protect you? Some may think so; others have different thoughts on the matter. But when did talk of angels first occur? Have they always been around? In this paper, I will attempt to define what an angel is and what they do. I will also discuss how angels differ between religions, as well as try to pinpoint the origin of angels. I will explain the similarities and differences between these religions and their ideas of angels. The term angel is derived from the Greek word angelos , meaning "messenger." This word represents an earlier Hebrew word, mal'akh that is also interpreted as the role of messenger or minister. It is safe to say that many people will regard angels as messengers between Heaven and earth. In many biblical stories, angels are sending messages. Some messages are announcements of birth like the ones that were sent to Abraham and to Samson's father. Other messages encourage actions as the ones did to Elijah and David. In these cases, angels were bringing messages from the divine world, or Heaven, to men and women in the earthly human world. It is believed that the messages with angels also work in the reversed sense as well; meaning from human being to angel to God. It is said that 'the soul speaks to the angel, the angel to the cherub, the cherub to God.' This type of communication would explain the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 20. Winston Churchill: Britain's Guardian Angel Winston Churchill: Britain's Guardian Angel The date was August, 1940. London was a mess of smoking ruins and rubble. Somber visages marked the faces of passersby, all except for a plump, elderly man. His jowl quivered as he smiled and greeted everyone he saw; he dried the tears of a frightened child. This man was Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of Britain during World War II. Heroes are often viewed as young, fit men who fight with physical strength, yet Winston Churchill led Britain to victory as an old man, solely using good leadership skills and determination. Winston Churchill is an example of a modern hero and his extraordinary odyssey fits most of the criteria of Joseph Campbell's hero's journey. As a boy Winston was not expected to amount to anything. Born on November 30, 1874 at Blenheim Palace to an aristocratic family, he was sickly and disinterested in all of his studies except reading. Though privileged, Churchill was neglected by both of his parents. He dropped out of two schools before attending Harrow Boarding School. There, he developed an interest in the military, and went on to attend Sandhurst Royal Military College. It took Churchill three tries to pass the entrance exam, but he did extremely well at Sandhurst, developing a love of horse–riding and graduating with honors. Once out of college, Churchill joined the 4th Hussars, a gentlemen cavalry regiment, and served in India and Sudan, protecting British colonial borders. His military experience ... Core Values: The Power of Positivity: I one thing I pride myself on is being one of the most positive people out there. I have been through a lot over my life time and therefore there are only a limited amount of things that bring me down. I show my positivity by always smiling and always laughing. Laughing is something that I cannot control all the time and I tend to laugh at random works such as pudding for no reason. I attribute this to the fact that I am so positive and enjoy all aspects of life. Faith defines me: Since kindergarten I have always attended a catholic school. Going to a catholic high school influenced my decision to choose to DeSales to further my education. One of my extra electives I took at DeSales was Introduction to the Devout Life, so I could learn about the teachings of our school's namesake. I also value praying which is something I do every night before bed, thanking God for three things that I was thankful for in my day and ask God to help me improve on one thing for the following day. Friends are a top priority: Friends mean everything to me. Though I have lost touch with most of high school friends. These supernatural beings are believed widely in many religions, including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and even Hinduism. Angels are mystical beings that serve as a link or an intermediary between man and his Supreme Creator. In the Christian Bible, they are known to be the attendants to God's throne, God's messenger to his people, and personal guardians to each and every person. While there are also evil angels or fallen angels, the divine angels are the ones that people can look up to for guidance and help. It is possible to ask help from guardian angels as it is believed that every one has them. In Hebrews for example, angels are referred to as ministering spirits who are sent to provide guidance to the world, for the sake of salvation. Angels are known to communicate to mere mortals in many ways. They can work through the intuition; but one of the most common means in communicating is through dreams. In the Bible for example, people and prophets were often depicted to be conversing with angels through dreams. Often they would receive messages, warnings or good tidings from these mystical creatures whether through dreams or through apparitions. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 33. Guardian Angel Movie Analysis Gabriel "Gabby" Messinger, a Guardian Angel who has trouble following the rules and is known for meddling in the love live's of others, is tasked by the Angel Michael to help the town of Angel Falls find its Christmas spirit again. First of all, I want to say that this film surpassed all my expectations. Sometimes, I am hesitant when it comes to "angel films," but because of who the three stars are (and especially because of the male lead), I was determined to give this film a chance. Furthermore, it is airing on Hallmark, and how could I not watch it? If you are looking for a film that follows the Scriptural teachings of angels, this might not be for you. I could speak to all the reasons why the theology of the movie is unsound, but that is not why I watched this film. The film is so uncommonly well–written and acted with such depth that I could care less about whether the story could ever happen or not. The values of the film are intact, and if nothing else, I applaud Hallmark for emphasizing the concept of "free will" (something most Christians and church people esteem) and including the Lord's Prayer (how often do we see that on network TV?). I did not plan on becoming emotional during this movie, but I literally spent the last twenty minutes or so crying off and on because the story was remarkably poignant (and I wasn't certain how it would end) and the three main actors––Rachel Boston, Paul Greene, and Beau Bridges––are such phenomenal artists! • 34. Sarah Sorenson Narrative I learned it too late. Everyone's life matters, even mine. Or at least it did, but now I have no life. I was ready to give up when I took that bottle of pills, but The Angel knew me better. When I finally left my human body, The Angel was the one who gave me a new life, a new body, and a new purpose: save them. In my past life, I was Sarah Sorenson. I was a pretty, popular teenage girl who could turn heads just by breathing. I was that one girl everyone either wanted to be or be with. To everyone, I had the perfect life, although no one saw who I truly was. Growing up in New York City, it is easy for people to just look at the outside and not care what is going on in the inside. No one saw the girl who was top of her class, or the musical genius, they only saw the cheerleader who went shopping every weekend on 5th Avenue and dated the cutest guy at school. No one saw the girl who only wanted her life to end, not until she was already gone. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Alexis Woodward, for example, means guardian angel. My previous name, Sarah, means princess, which was exactly what I was. I walk down the rows of headstones, reading name after name on top of the freshly turned dirt, each name more familiar than the last until I come upon my own. The elegant headstone is scattered with flowers in a variety of freshness. Sarah Sorenson. Princess Princess. The only thing more heartbreaking than the truth behind the names is the dates on each stone. After each name I read, I can still see a face from my human memories, smiling, or laughing; always happy. I clutch my stomach as I fall to my knees with grief and sob for all the lives lost. I cry for the families and friends that have to watch as those closest to them take their own life. Tears fall for the ones who never give up on them, and return every day to the cemetery, leaving flowers and notes and the teddy bears that look half dead even before they enter a ... • 37. Ezekiel Chapter 8 Analysis In Hebrews 13:2, he learned that angels often show up in human form. It says... "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." His deductive reasoning went to work. 'If angels show up in human form, where in Scripture is the basis for the orbs that these pastor's claims are in their meetings?' As the days passed, he became rather confused. One afternoon, he read Ezekiel 1:15–21. He chose the Easy–To–Read Version to understand it. "I was looking at the living beings when I noticed four wheels that touched the ground. There was one wheel by each living being. All the wheels looked the same. The wheels looked as if they were made from a clear, yellow jewel. They looked like there was a wheel inside ... He felt far from being loved unconditionally. Where were his healing and prosperity? He's always sick and without two cents to rub together. Where is he being protected from the issues in his apartment? Occult sources claim they are guardian angels. To Tank, they weren't doing a very effective job. What was he to believe? • 38. Speech About The Archangel Ariel The Archangel Ariel embodies feminine strength and encourages strength through gentle means, only using force when absolutely necessary. She is the lioness of the angelic realm, and as such, she champions those who cannot fend for themselves and are often victims of the power of others, particularly women, children, and animals. When Daniel was thrown into the lions' den to be mauled and devoured, for example, her angelic presence interceded, held the lions at bay, and protected Daniel's life. She helped him to soothe the lions and to lay down with them without fear or danger. Ariel is the protector of the animal kingdom and keeps balance between both predator and prey. • 39. A Short Story Essay : A Story? "Zooee! Come downstairs NOW!" That's my mother. She gets mad about everything. I should probably go downstairs, but I'm caught up in a whole lot of homework. "Coming," I replied, so she knew I was on my way. I scattered all my homework back into two neat piles and clipped them together with paper clips–one pile is finished work, and the other is unfinished. I ran out my door and hurried downstairs, not caring to turn off my lights. "What is it?" I asked, knowing it could be anything. "Your dog peed on the rug again," she said, with a mad attitude, "When will you potty–train your dog?" My dog is a full blood black lab, and I named her Chloe. "Come on mom, she's only twelve weeks old, and I'm working on it," I replied. "Well, I'm getting tired of having to be careful where I step, not knowing where your dog did her business." "Will you please stop calling her 'your dog'? Just call her Chloe, so she gets used to the name." "Fine," she agreed "and by the way, your dog keeps going into that 'haunted house' down the street," she added. I sighed. She said that with air quotes because she doesn't believe in in ghosts. There's a house about two blocks down, dark grayish–brown, with weeds growing everywhere. The door opens and closes on it's own. My mom says it's the wind, but it's too rusty and squeaky, and usually it happens when there's no wind. Sometimes I walk past it on my way to school, and I see someone in the window watching me, yet no one has lived ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
