Halo 2 Research Paper
Halo: Combat Evolved was introduced on November 15, 2001. The Halo franchise had grown
exponentially over the years making it one of the game changers in the gaming industry. Halo 2 and
Halo 3 were the most ground breaking and different games in the series in that they were able to
give players more diversity than ever before. These games pushed the story, art, multiplayer and
features to new heights. They even helped the player connect personally to these main characters
and create a personal feel to the game. The story in Halo 2 started where Halo: Combat Evolved left
off. Halo was a forerunner alien ring that the USMC had discovered and had to emergency land on.
Throughout the game the main character (Master Chief) discovered what the purpose of the ring
was which he eventually destroyed. Halo 2 was after those events and ... Show more content on

In Halo 2 you can see how they paid so much attention to the sky and land design. While the
character is on the halo planet you can actually see how the ring extends all around and over you.
While on earth you can see up above how there are space stations fighting against enemies. The
player can tell that there was so much detail and attention to the simplest things. As for The Master
Chief his suit and armor has become an icon in the gaming industry. After the success of the first
game, Halo 2 developers upgraded his suit to look even better than the last. They added more
corners and ridges and made the suit look a lot cleaner and less blocky. The enemies in the game got
a pretty nice upgrade as well. The showed them with a lot meaner outfits that showed their true
savageness more. They showed them with a lot more scarring to where you can see where they had
gone through some tough times. The colors and cleanliness of the characters make the game much

Persuasive Essay On Halo 3
Back in the year 2007 there was a video game series called "Halo" developed by Bungie Studios,
who are also recently known for their new title "Destiny". This series was a science–fiction action
first person shooter which depicts a war between the human race and an untied alien races, The
Covenant. The series' first title was back in 2002 and then two year later came the sequel, Halo 2.
This was when the series really kicked off and the fan base swelled. It would be three year before
another installment came out. So the new fan base waited eagerly and the hype for the new game
grew. The hype around Halo 3 was massive, it still feels like nothing has surpassed surrounding this
game. In fact it was the biggest entertainment launch at the time ... Show more content on

The existence of the established loyal fans meant we could guarantee Halo 3 would sell well, but
this case study will demonstrate how we creative strategy to lift the game out of its hard core silo
and into mainstream popular culture. Halo 3's 'Believe' is a tale of planning working to ensure media
and creative combined across numerous channels to tell an epic story. This epic story has helped
bring the franchise to a new audience, in doing so making Halo 3 the biggest entertainment launch
of all time. As a body of work this campaign shows us that the proliferation of media channels is not
a challenge for integration, but an opportunity to tell a story across a bigger marketing
communications canvas. This paper tells how we had to extend the appeal Halo beyond a loyal hard
core fan base in order to make Halo 3 the biggest entertainment launch of all time. It tells the story
of a campaign that broke industry conventions by reimagining the competitive landscape it was
operating in. It tells the story of a great creative idea extending itself beyond traditional media
channels. And thankfully this paper shows us the impact a great campaign can have on the sales of a
product. Halo 3 broke all entertainment industry records with opening day sales of £84m, more than
110% that of Spiderman 3, the former record

Comparison Of Halo And Call Of War
Let's analyze this. Halo and its single player campaign held a vast universe and followed the Spartan
warriors into battle to save the Earth from the alien invasion of 2 different races while Call of Duty
has switched from World War 2 and the Modern era. I must say, the World War 2 story lines were
quite boring, being the same in almost every way, but the Modern Warfare story line caught my
attention. With the evil villain Makarov and the twists and turns the story made in Modern Warfare
2, I was on the edge of my seat. But, Halo was in every way better in the single–player front.
Following genetically enhanced Spartan warriors into battle fighting off hordes of aliens I was
amazed with how deep the story got and how Bungie used every asset they could to enhance the
story further in a not so crazy way.
Ah co–op. The lovely days of playing a game with a friend right beside you on a Saturday will
never be forgotten. When co–op was finally introduced into the CoD series in World at War, I was
very impressed. The co–op campaign ability never really took for me, but what really got me and
the rest of the world was Zombies. Nazi ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This finally paragraph will analyze the uniqueness of each game. Starting with Halo, the Forge
mode brought to us by Halo 3 revolutionized multiplayer maps and gametypes far beyond what we
could've imagined. Also, the theater mode brought by Halo 3 helped the creative minds of the
community. Now Call of Duty...well Call of Duty didn't really bring that much uniqueness but it did
help evolve the modern fast paced shooter into what it is now. In addition, the 60 frames per second
on that game makes it a Call of Duty title while Halo and basically all other games lack that aspect.
As I've said too many people, Halo is a crappy game at the start that eventually evolves into a giant
while CoD is awesome until exploits in the game are

Martin O Halo: Combat Evolved
Martin O'Donnell is responsible for composing the "iconic" main theme to the video game Halo:
Combat Evolved. The "instantly recognizable tune that is to Halo what Monty Norman's theme is to
the James Bond films" has earned Halo as well as O'Donnell countless awards. This paper will focus
on his personal life, education, career, and influence. Martin O'Donnell is an American composer
born on May 1, 1955. His father worked on film productions, while his mother taught piano.
Because of this, Martin took piano lessons as kid, and later would want to start a rock band while in
junior high. O'Donnell was influenced by many famous classical musicians including Beethoven,
Brahms, and Barber as well as the progressive rock groups Jethro Tull and Genesis. Because of his
parents' professions and his earlier talents and hobbies, O'Donnell was inspired to study classical
music and composition at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. In the early 1980s,
O'Donnell earned his Master's degree cum laude in music composition from the University of South
California. Martin O'Donnell has been married to his wife Marcie O'Donnell for more than 30 years.
They currently live together in Seattle, Washington and have two daughters, Alison and Christine,
both of whom are also married. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the position fell through and instead O'Donnell went to work for the film and television
business. He began his musical career in composing for television and radio commercials after a
friend, who knew of his musical background, contacted him to write for his film. Since O'Donnell
did not have a studio, he turned to his friend Michael Salvatori, who did had his own studio, and
offered to split the profits from the job in exchange for using the studio. Since then, O'Donnell and
Salvatori have been constant

Chapter Five. Summary, Discussion And Implications. ....
Chapter Five Summary, Discussion and Implications Introduction "Decision making is a complex
cognitive process influenced by a number of factors" (Johnson & Kruse, 2009, p. 33). A leader is
called on to make numerous decisions each day to meet the needs of their organization. The
individuals associated with an organization look to the leader to have the answers to the many
problems that present themselves. The challenge for the leader to is to make the "right" decision, but
what the right decision is varies and is not always clear. The decision–making approach a leader
takes can greatly impact the success of an organization, and a leader must always weigh their
decisions carefully. The high stakes and complexity of decision making for ... Show more content on

Ideally, this avoids the potential for additional services that could span multiple years. As programs
are developed, district leaders must determine if the return on the investment warrants the
continuation of these interventions. In order to contribute to such considerations, Chapter five will
evaluate this return on investment for the one such intervention, the Level Literacy Intervention
program (LLI) being implemented at a suburban elementary school in Connecticut. This program
was implemented as a result of the Response to Intervention initiative in 2004. The conclusions
drawn from this analysis will be clearly articulated, along with limitations of the study, future
implications and recommendations for future research. Summary This study analyzed five cohorts
of grade–two students participating in the LLI program at a grammar school in Connecticut. The
students were divided into two groups, those that were exited reading at or above grade level and
those that were exited slightly below grade level during the spring benchmark for grade two. Once
exited from the program, the students in this study did not receive any further literacy interventions.
For purposes of the study, up to five years of data from each cohort was analyzed. The first of two

Analysis Of Halo: Combat Evolved
Our children may never know the revolutionary pleasure the videogame Halo: Combat Evolved was
when it appeared with a story, plot and overall entertainment value that put everything else to
shame. But the universe won't. We found Halo. In a manner of speaking. Astronomers and the
general public have been inspired by the amalgam of structures discovered in deep space, however,
today they announced the existence of an unimaginably massive structure composed of a loose
ellipse of galaxies, roughly 5 billion light years in diameter.
This intergalactic halo was limned indirectly by 9 observed gamma–ray bursts, and has been
triangulated at about 7 billion light years' distance. From the ground, the ring spans a distance that's
70 times the diameter ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is actually a precept of the science, called the "Cosmological Principle," and it's already found
ground in the form of NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) and Europe's
Planck Space Telescope, both of which catalogue cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation.
Until recently, the upper–limit for cosmic structures was 1.2 billion light–years across, but this
gamma–ray burst halo is 5 times the size of that limit. That's a theoretical discrepancy no trade
could ignore. What's more, another structure of gamma–ray bursts was discovered, spanning a
distance of 10 billion light–years.
What madness is responsible for this super–geometry? Some macro–cosmology holds that there are
areas of our universe which clump together in web–like strands that flow for billions of light–years,
creating "holes" in the universe, where little to no matter or energy is present. But presently, this
newest structure creates a super–void that puts even the most superlative absences to

Why Violent Video Games Don't Cause Violence
People have always been looking for a reason why horrible things happen. The media is quick to
blame video games as the target and cause of many shootings that have occurred, ever since
Columbine and Quake. People have been blaming video games for violence for years now, ever
since violent video games have been made. News reports blame video games more and more for
each shooting, telling the public how this person played video games for x amount of hours a day,
and that video games caused him or her to shoot people, and how video games encourage and
reward violence. Anti–video game lobbyists have been campaigning to have violence removed from
video games, citing resources that they themselves have created as reasons for ... Show more

Even with all these precautions in place, people have been calling for more and more research, not
confident that the ESRB, even though it's the most strict, is strict enough with its games.
Video games have been around since 1958, when physicist William Higinbotham created Tennis for
Two to entertain guests for the Brookhaven national Laboratory. MIT arguably created the first real
and widely known video game in the late 1960s, Spacewar!. Many people think that the first
commercially available game is Pong!, this on the other hand, is not true. The first commercially
available video game was called Computer Space. It was an arcade game much like Spacewar!, the
only difference being that Computer Space used more processing power and new technology, and
that it was the first arcade game as well, not available to personal computers or home televisions.
The Magnavox Odyssey was the first home console that was available for the general public. It
featured a controller much like the one that pong would eventually make, except that its two dials
controlled vertical and horizontal, rather than just vertical. The Magnavox Odyssey as a console was
eventually a huge failure, leaving tens of thousands unsold. Games continued to be produced for
households, with the most noticeable violent game releasing on August 18, 1995. The game was
called Mortal Kombat, the game depicted two

The History behind the Halo Universe
"This is Spartan 117, can anyone hear me over" Master Chief says to Lord Hood. Lord Hood
responds, "Isolate that signal. Master Chief, you mind telling me what you are doing on that ship?"
Master Chief then says "Sir, finishing this fight". The iconic series of the Halo Universe is a
franchise that is looked at as the pinnacle of the competitive multiplayer system. On top of that, it
also has a really good story while still making the protagonist you are playing as feel like a total
badass. Bungie studios, who were originally partnered with Take–Two Interactive studios, which
developed the top–down actioner Grand Theft Auto series, created this masterpiece of a game in the
late 1990s, after numerous trial and errors of what they wanted to do. The original Halo game was
supposed to be released for the Macintosh OS X but after a presentation showcasing the game, the
event was so good that it caught the eyes of Microsoft Studios. Impressed, Microsoft then decided to
invest in Bungie studios and buy them out to create the series and bring it over to the PC, even
though it instead made its way to the iconic Xbox system. The protagonist you play is a Spartan
named John 117, best known as Master Chief, and is known as one of the most iconic protagonists
in any video game ever. The Halo universe the user plays in takes place in the future, the first game
Halo: Combat Evolved, taking place in the twenty–sixth century. This iconic franchise tells us the
story of a cybernetically

Brand Building Blocks
BRAND BUILDING BLOCKS
Building Strong Brands: Why Is It Hard?
It is not easy to build brands in today 's environment. The brand builder who attempts to develop a
strong brand is like a golfer playing on a course with heavy roughs, deep sand traps, sharp doglegs,
and vast water barriers. It is difficult to score well in such conditions. Substantial pressures and
barriers, both internal and external, can inhibit the brand builder. To be able to develop effective
brand strategies, it is useful to understand these pressures and barriers
Different factors that make it difficult to build brands are shown in the figure above. The first,
pressure to compete on price, directly affects the motivation to build brands. The second reason, the

What, then, happens to the people who support the brand with market research or other brand–
building activities? They are vulnerable to the organizations new cost culture.
2. Proliferation Of Competitors
New, vigorous competitors come from a variety of sources. A host of food categories have watched
Weight Watchers and Healthy Choice enter their markets through brand extension strategies. In the
snack category, Frito–Lay has seen regional brands expand and Budweiser 's Eagle brand break out
of its niche to become a major competitor. New product forms that provide real alternatives for the
customer have encroached the soft drink market, bottled water, carbonated water, fruit–based drinks,
and "new age" drinks, among others.
Additional competitors not only contribute to price pressure and brand complexity, but also make it
much harder to gain and hold a position. They leave fewer holes in the market to exploit and fewer
implementation vehicles to own. Each brand tends to be positioned more narrowly, the target
markets become smaller, and the non–target market becomes larger. Efforts to market to a broad
segment thus become more difficult in the face of the complex 'brandscape' Further, some new or
desperate competitors may be motivated to take risks or attempt unusual approaches. The result can
be destabilization of the competitive dynamics. There is also an enhanced motivation to copy
anything that is successful, in part because the risks of

Halo Vs Call Of Duty Essay
Ah, video game debates, a wonderful thing when 2 gamers bond over videos games. which is
better? Which is worse? Its all fun talk until people bring up call of duty vs Halo.
The Call of Duty series vs the Halo series. People often argue that call of duty is better than halo
which is 100% false. Halo is a lot better than call of duty because call of duty makes the same game
over and over and people buy it because is the new call of duty. Thing is the company and publisher
that owns call of duty only makes it because of the money which they have stated before and people
who are into video games dislike that because it shows they do not care about the quality which is

one of the best video games ever made based on my opinions because the game is just so well done

game for 3 years straight and its replayability is so great that you just can't get bored while playing
it. Call of duty 1 was absolutely terrible as the same goes for the two that follow, but then Modern
Warfare came out and everybody loves it; it wasn't necessarily a bad game but actually fairly good.
Then the next year comes the release of Modern Warfare 2 which is and always will be the best call

Shigeru Miyamoto Influence On Society
Throughout history nothing has advanced as fast as video games have. Video games became so
popular that the mascots that they represent became household names. There are many artists that
have revolutionized gaming but these certain media artists have made the biggest changes: Shigeru
Miyamoto owner of Nintendo, Riot games and Bungie. Despite that all these media artists were
born in different times these ones influenced how people play and perceive videogames.
Shigeru Miyamoto
One of the most successful and most known name in the video game industry is Nintendo's Senior
Managing Director and representative director Shigeru Miyamoto. Miyamoto was born and raised in

Before mario was created no other companies had an extremely famous mascot. Because of his
success with this figurehead every other video company were inspired to do the same. Because of
his rivals Miyamoto ingeniously invented the video gaming industry by making his characters

Why We Shouldn T Video Games Be Banned
Many people have their own tastes of video games. so some people play puzzle games like candy
crush others prefer to play free for all games like Goat Simulator and others like playing strategy
games like Plants vs. Zombies, or PVZ for short. Or if you are a person obsessed with video games
and then they outlawed them life would be as dull as a broken pencil. But we should not ban any
game genre, maybe people are misjudging video games. One reason is that when people play video
games they enter a virtual reality universe where they can do all sorts of stuff have a grappling–
tonge, be an octopus who is a father, or even dance! So because I am a gamer that doesn't make me
violent because I play 100% of the time games that are not gorey. I know that some games make
people, violent that is because they want to do what they see in the game because they like it and
want to mimic it in the real world, we just need to keep an eye on how video games can make a
person act. The main thing that I am trying to tell you is that people should ... Show more content on

need to do is make less violent video games, maybe even random ideas like a flamingo dancer

gamers have come from a longer from a long time with gaming with lots of experience over the
years. Also gaming can create friendships like when I was playing animal jam I met this person in
on animal jam when I was at home and it turns out he went to my school and we were friends and
kept in close touch. It can also improve real Life skills like dancing Just Dance can help you be a

Halo Game Comparison Essay
Since the debut of Halo in 2001, the game has become one of the most iconic first person shooters
to have ever entered the gaming industry. In Halo, players fight multiple alien races as the legendary
Spartan II, a genetically enhanced super soldier, named John S117. Recently, the creators of Halo
released a new game called Destiny; in the game, "guardians" fight off multiple alien races in an
attempt to destroy an ancient evil known as the Darkness. Many gamers claim that Halo and Destiny
are very different, however, a true Halo fan can identify the similarities between the two games.
Though the two games have small differences, Halo and Destiny are the same in many ways; the
weapons, the enemies fought, and the AI companion system. When a Halo fan picks up his first
weapon in Destiny, whether it be a scout rifle or an auto rifle, he should instantly be able to
acknowledge the similarity in mechanics. In Halo the weapon mechanics are simple, a player can
pick up anything that he can find. In contrast, Destiny has completely customizable weapon
mechanics; a primary weapon slot, a secondary weapon slot, and a heavy weapon slot. Aside from
the way a player obtains his weapon, everything else is the same. In Halo, the "primary weapons"
were essentially assault rifles and marksman rifles, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the same, they both contain three primary classes; a small assault enemy (grunts and shanks), a
defensive enemy (Jackals and Vandals), and a "major" enemy (Elites and Captains). The Flood and
the Vex are the same, both are a zombie like species led by a dark force. Lastly, the Brutes and the

"
HR should be defined not by what it does, but by what it delivers.
DAVID ULRICH
Human Resource (HR) management
The design of formal systems in an organization to ensure the effective and efficient use of human
talent to accomplish the organizational goals.
As human resources have become viewed as more critical to organizational success, many
organizations have realized that it is the people in an organization that can provide a competitive
advantage.2 Throughout the book it will be emphasized that the people as human resources
contribute to and affect the competitive success of the organization. Human Resource (HR)
management deals with the design of formal systems in an organization to ensure the effective and
efficient use of human talent to accomplish organizational goals. In an organization, the
management of human resources means that they must be recruited, compensated, trained, and
developed.

The Pueblo Flood That Changed My View And Outlook On Water...
The Pueblo Flood, something that anyone who is a native of Colorado has heard about before. When
thinking about the flood, it has always been assumed at least for myself that was something that
took place and not much thought was given to it until this became the topic of choice for this paper.
The Pueblo flood occurred on the Evening of June 5, 1921. The flood that changed the town of
Pueblo forever and is still even to this day the deadliest flood in Colorado's History. However, what
is not well known is the fact that there was not one flood but three, the devastation that overtook the
town was monumental. The firsthand accounts were heartbreaking, the experience of learning about
the flood has truly changed my view and outlook on water tremendously. The Pueblo flood facts are
as follows; the flood occurred in 1921 in the month of June. The first flood occurred due to heavy
rain that fell over a small area called Dry Creek which lies just above Pueblo, The Rise in the River
caused the banks to overflow, this occurred on the evening of June 2nd. The Second Flood, which is
known as the main flood took place on the night of June 3rd and will be the main focus of this
paper. The Third flood occurred on the morning of June 5th due to the breaking of the Schaeffer
Reservoir in an area known as Beaver Creek. The exact amount the height of the flood waters got to
will never truly be known, but there is evidence though out Pueblo even to this day that documents
how high

Game Analysis: Escape Veloci-Tina
Final Project – Milestone Two Jamie Davis Southern New Hampshire University Final Project –
Milestone Two Escape Veloci–Tina is a single player game that follows the intrepid space explorer
Tina as she attempts to locate new worlds to house the people from her home planet, which is
teetering on the brink of turmoil. The game's title is a play on the term "escape velocity" – a physics
term describing the kinetic speed at which an object must be travelling to escape a celestial body's
gravitational pull – and the hero's name, Tina. The game's story centers on Tina's plight to save her
people from the threat of a looming extinction event brought on by her planet's lack of resources.
This crisis compels her to venture into space searching for new potential planets to which they
might migrate and colonize for their survival. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These planets are procedurally generated via lengthy randomized seeds that determine factors such
as their atmosphere, local environments, and the presence of hostile or friendly terrestrial life. Due
to the varying challenges of some of these planets, some may not be fully explored until the player

unique features of the game is Tina's power to acquire certain abilities from other creatures to use
later as skills. Due to the randomized element involved in determining the lifeforms on planets, it
will take extensive exploration to slowly accumulate the abilities she needs to accomplish some

History of Xbox Everyone knows what an Xbox is, but do they know about why it exists? Many
have been entertained by the presence of the notorious Xbox, but don't know the origin of it. Some
don't even know that there had been an earlier model before the Xbox 360! How and why does it
exist? I'm going to find out the story behind this to show that it has a story in its development of one
of the most popular gaming consoles on the world.
What I Want to Find Out
My prior knowledge the Xbox comes down to the name of the different types of consoles', what the
Xbox is and its features are on the newer models, and how it rivals to other companies as an

This was going to be a big move for Microsoft because they mainly produced software, not
hardware. Bill Gates left Kevin Bachus, Seamus Blackley, Otto Berkes, and Ted Hase to lead the
project into development. The intent of this console was for it to be called the "DirectX Box" and to
run like a PC on windows software, but for games. The nickname for it was the "Xbox", and stuck
as the catchy name. With the help of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Bill Gates revealed the final
design to the world including the release date on January 2001. On November 14, 2001, the day of
release, the Xbox sold over one million units in one month. Microsoft had purchased a company by
the name of "Bungie", in order to make their upcoming game Halo: Combat Evolved an exclusive to
Xbox. First priced at $299, it was very successful in sales North America, but not as well in Japan
and Europe. Halo was a big hit, and had boosted Xbox console sale because of the popularity of the
game with one million copies sold in the first few months of

I grew up in Jamaica at a time when Rastas were still regarded as useless, lazy, half–insane, ganja–
smoking illiterates who were of no value to society. Teachers, students, office workers, and anyone
of social importance could not grow locks, and families would go into mourning when their sons
would start sprouting them. I heard the term "black heart man" used again and again as a means of
expressing fear or ridicule of the Rastafarian. And this was in the early 1970s–after Bob Marley's
emergence as an international viii FOREWORD star, after Selassie's arrival in Jamaica, and after
so much had been written about the importance of Rastafarianism. The problem was that Rasta was
counter to the strong Christian structure that dominated and continues to dominate Jamaican life and
was seen first as heretical and misguided before its powerful social and political ideas were fully
appreciated. Most important, however, was the Rastafarian insistence that Africa was the promised
land and that Jamaicans should look to Africa for their model of value rather than to Europe, which
was seen as foolish and a painful reminder of slavery and oppression. Rasta was an offense to those
who wanted to deny the African part of their heritage. And the truth is also that in Jamaica at that

The history of Rooster Teeth Production, LLC.
Part One: Background and History Rooster Teeth Productions, LLC. is a production company based
in Austin, Texas. It was officially established April 1st, 2003; although, the company made video
production content, such as parodies and short movies, before then. The history of Rooster Teeth
starts at the University of Texas in the mid–1990s. Three friends, Michael "Burnie" Burns, Matt
Hullum, and Joel Heyman were friends who attended the university in Austin. They were not the
best students, and they were worried the high–paying technology jobs, that were growing
increasingly popular at the time, were out of their reach. So, as an attempt to get themselves noticed
in the industry, they decided to make a short film together. The film was called "The Schedule;"
Burns and Hullum directed it while Heyman played the lead role. The three of them brought their
film to several festivals, and they received some minor recognition. In fact, it prompted Heyman to
move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, and Hullum decided to "follow his heart (i.e.
Joel)" (roosterteeth.com) and decided to move there as well to work in visual effects. Burns stayed
in Austin, where he started working at a tech support center, and where he eventually became
Director of Operations. At this point in time, three key players who would eventually form Rooster
Teeth were separated from each other, and they could have feasibly spent the rest of their lives this
way. However, one more important

God 's Fourth Speech With Noah
Introduction
God's fourth speech with Noah (9:1–17) is a cluster of three sub–speeches, which will be further
explored in this analysis. Similar aspects of Genesis 1 are echoed; a new cosmic order is installed,
initiating a pre creation period. God blesses the humans and commissions them to take domination
over all creatures. This passage is of great importance to not just the Genesis story but also the Old
Testament as a whole. I will further depict central meanings throughout the passage, as well as
investigate literary aspects in order to grasp a greater understanding of this chapter.
Covenants are the promise and obligation between two or more people. At the beginning of this
chapter in the Genesis, the Covenant between God and Noah ... Show more content on

(5:1–9:29) The opening line "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth (Ge 9:1)"
establishes a start in a significant period of time. While Adam and Eve were asked a similar
command from God, their sins and disobedience was the end of the beginning.
The Noahic covenant is the covenant that God made with Noah after he left the ark, sealed with a
rainbow, that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. The narrative of Noah and the
Ark is one of the most well known stories from the Old Testament. In some of its artistic
representations, it is characterised as a story of an old man who takes pairs of animals onto an ark to
ride out an incredible flood, safely coming to rest as a rainbow appears in the sky. Whilst the
essence of this is recorded in the Genesis account of the Flood, the biblical narrative is much more
than this unusual story. It is a narrative written in the context of an Israelite community, striving to
understand and interpret the way their God works in and through both humanity and the world God
has created for all.

first eight chapters of the biblical book. In the aftermath of the Flood, God made an unconditional

Symbolism In Everything I Never Told You
Everything I Never Told You Analysis In the bible Ezekiel 36:25 states "Then will I sprinkle clean
water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse
you (King James Bible 1)." Hence, in biblical terms water is the purification of ones' soul of all sins.
Consequently, water is the ultimate redemption for one's soul and body. In Everything I Never Told
You, Celeste Ng creates the theme of redemption from one's past sins –represented by characters–
through the symbolism of water. To begin with, in the novel the setting of the town in Ohio is deeply
impacted by the central theme. The setting plays an important role in revealing the element of water
in the novel as it placing it in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He has an affair with Louisa, who is his teacher assistant. On Lydia's birthday, shortly before she
disappears, she meets Louisa and identifies her as father's mistress even though at the times the
affair had not begun yet. Lydia because determined that Louisa is sleeping with her father, which is
yet another sin she has to carry the weight off. Additionally, the affair weights even more on her
because of adultery even being in the 10 commandments that state "You shall not commit adultery
(Exodus 20)." The fact that James affair with Louisa doesn't start until after Lydia's death shows
how Lydia's redemption had failed. Most importantly though, is that these deadly sins begun even
before Lydia was born –the moment when James met Marilyn. The first time they met lust had
overcome both of them and they kissed without even knowing each other. This led to Marilyn –
without being married yet– getting pregnant within month of meeting James, and having Nath. In
the bible Hebrews 13:4 says, "Marriage should be honored by everyone, and husband and wife
should keep their marriage pure. God will judge as guilty those who take part in sexual sins." This
means that because Marilyn was pregnant at the time she married James, both were sinners in God's
words, because they had already had sex . Even though, Nath, born out of a unholy bond between
his parents was not scrutinized by the sin because the bible states that sex before marriage is a sin
but a child born out of premarital pregnancy is not held responsible for any of his parents

Halo 2 Essay
What lead to Halo 2 was after the massive success of Halo: Combat Evolved, the Microsoft made
Halo into the Xbox's killer app, leading it to become a trilogy. Since Halo 2's launch it has lead to
many of the standards of multiplayer matchmaking, from the party system, dedicated servers,
playlists that separated players by skill level or rank, Halo 2, one of the most popular games at the
time, gave players a distinctive logo that the player can identity themselves or clan with. Finally,
Halo 2 helped Major League Gaming's (MLG) popularity to grow by helping it get its first televised
event in the US in 2006 on USA Network due it's large popularity. Halo 2 deserves a spot in the top

Halo 2 weapon pickups let the player enjoy the map to the fullest while giving no player a true
advantage over one another other than skill and experience. Also, weapon pickups makes the players
if they are playing a team oriented multiplayer match to cooperate together so, that they can control
all the power weapons. The second design insight I learned from Halo 2 is that good level design
can really extend the life of a game. I know this sounds trivial, but Halo 2's servers only got shut
down in 2010 six years after launch because, some people liked its maps more than the recent games
and decided to stick with it. Many Halo maps throughout it history like Zanzibar, Coagulation,
Lockout, and Ivory Tower have been remade countless times throughout the Halo series, because of
their fan–base. The final design insight, though this is a bit smaller than the previous ones, it's a
good idea not to post how many times a player has died on the scoreboard during the match. From
experience this can sometimes be a bit distracting to a player during a match and can cause some
players to leave if they feel a team member is holding them back during the match. Sometimes not
giving other players information about other players can be a good thing as long as it's something as
trivial as

Dungeon Crawler Research Paper
The Silent Generation have a much higher chance of preferring a Strong, Silent type character. A
Procedurally Generated Dungeon Crawler game would best suit this generation. Most of these types
of games don't really require a heavily voiced Protagonist, due to the fact that more often than not
your Player Character is completely isolated. Procedural Generation would add plenty of replay
value to the game, as the randomly generated dungeons would never repeat (or would at least have
very low odds of repeating).
For the Boom Generation, a Japanese Roleplaying Game format would be the best type of game for
them. Almost 100% of the time, these types of games have an overwhelmingly large spiritual theme
around them. From the main character channeling their personal strengths to fight off their literal
inner demons within them in an attempt to reach enlightenment, to player characters dueling fates
with deities, these seem like the best option for such a "spirited" generation.

Essay on Noah and the Ark
Noah and the Ark
The story of Noah and the ark is probably one of the most read stories of the bible. Perhaps it is
because of the great tragedy it portrays, or because it is a story of salvation. Noah and his family
along with the animals were saved from the flood, while the other people and animals perished as a
result of it. Growing up the story of Noah and the ark was one of my favorites; Quite simply
because of the drawings depicting the story. They appeared so beautiful, when after many years I'm
realizing the whole of the story. The story of the destruction of mankind, and the story of regrowth. I
chose this topic because I realized how little I really do know about Noah and the ark. I will relay
the story of Noah and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
God decided to wipe out mankind with a flood. In order to help repopulate the earth after the flood
was over, God called upon Noah. God told Noah to build himself an ark out of cypress wood, with
room inside. He told Noah to cover the ark, both inside and out with pitch to protect it from the
waters. God instructed Noah as to the size of the ark, and what it was to look like. "The ark is to be
450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. Make a roof for it and finish the ark within 18 inches
of the top. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle, and upper decks." (Genesis 6:
15–16) God also told Noah about the plan for the flood, and what he was to do with the ark. Noah,
his wife, his sons, and his sons wives would all be on the ark an spared from the destruction the
flood would cause. Along with his family, God wanted Noah to bring two of all living creatures, one
male, and one female. Brining a male and a female of each kind of creature would allow them to
reproduce and repopulate their species. The last thing God commanded Noah to do was to take
every kind of food that is to be eaten and stored for his family and the creatures. Noah and his
family entered the ark as God had commanded. After seven days, the waters of the flood were over
the earth. All the wellsprings of the great deep burst and the casements of the heavens were opened.

Halo Ce Research Paper
16 years ago a franchise was born. on November 15, 2001, Halo CE was released. It was a launch
title for the XBox gaming console. The game received 48 awards in 2001–2002
(https://web.archive.org/web/20061210190117/http://www.xbox.com/en–

80% to 100% in scorings. However is Halo CE still good by today's standards? Halo CE was
groundbreaking when it was released breaking the trends of fps games at the time. All the best fps
games had been exclusively on the PC. Moreover, they only had multiplayer with no story mode.
Nevertheless, Halo CE changed all of that setting a standard on how modern fps games work on a
console. While the game does have a multiplayer section to it, I will be focusing on the story mode
section of the game. Starting off with the AI of the game. The AI enemies in fps games at the time
were very bland and just stiff figures standing not doing anything. However, halo took it further
developing their AI system, making it act more natural by responding to scenarios. One of the
significant things being the enemies dodging gunfire, and taking cover behind cover throughout the
levels. In modern times technology only advanced. While the AI system is not up to date and very
simple in modern terms, it is still would be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

modern games uses 4096 X 4096 Pixels. However just like Picasso, he did not paint super realistic

Which is essentially having a primary and secondary weapon, in halo you start with a fully
automatic rifle and a pistol, and the scavenge and trade out for weapons you find on the battlefield.
Before that there was typically some form of weapon wheel, which had a bunch of options and you
would have to press multiple buttons and move the joystick to switch one. Halo made it so you only
had to press a single button, but according to Luke Larson of Paste Magazine, "the limitation in
Halo to only being able to carry two weapons at once was seen as controversial and a bit of a
disadvantage at first. However, in the long run it came to completely change the way game
developers thought about player choice and strategy in first–person shooters." But today, you 'll be
hard pressed to find a mainstream fps game that uses the old school weapon wheel, and I personally
don 't know of any. D. Grenades: grenades tie into this last point, because they used to be part of that
old weapon wheel, and grenades are very situational, so people just wouldn 't use them, and they
turned it into the simple push of a button. (Speaking of pushing buttons, let 's talk about some of the
things halo has done for some of the things behind the scenes you might not ever see.) II. Behind
scenes, not necessarily what 's on screen, but how you play. A. Halo was the first game to really
create a standard control scheme and variants are still used today. B.

We are surrounded by organizations and we participate in them as members, employees, customers,
and clients. Most of our life is spent in organization, and they supply the goods and services on
which we depend to live. Organizations on the other hand depend on people, and without people,
they would disappear. Factors Contributing to the Growing Importance of HRM a. Accommodation
to workers ' needs Workers are demanding that organizations accommodate their personal needs by
instituting such programs as flexible work schedules, parental leave, child–care and elder–care
assistance, and job sharing. The human resource department plays a central role in establishing and
implementing policies designed to reduce the friction between organizational demands and family
responsibilities. b. Increased complexity of the Manager's job Management has become an
increasingly complex and demanding job for many reasons, including foreign competition, new
technology, expanding scientific information, and rapid change. Therefore, organizations frequently
ask human resource managers for assistance in making strategic business decisions and in matching
the distinctive competencies of the firm 's human resources to the mission of the organization.
Executives need assistance from the human resource department in matters of recruitment,
performance evaluation, compensation, and discipline. c. Legislation and litigation The enactment
of state laws has contributed enormously

The Spartan II Project By Dr. Catherine Halsey
It all started with ORION Project without it The Spartan–II project never would have been born, it
was the idea that a small special forces teams would be better than a large army they were to costly
the damage was becoming too great. This new idea was cheeps saved the lives of solders and was
better at getting the job done. But combating with the insurgents was becoming too much for the
UNSC to manage. As the enemy grow in numbers and strength they became more effective and
more forceful, the need for large scale military campaigns became increasingly encouraged. Soon
after this realization in the later months of 2517 The Spartan–II project was conceived by Dr.
Catherine Halsey who happened to be successor to the ORION Project and was the best possible
solution to end the widespread raged that flooded throughout UNSC space. The project was created
these goals in mind. First was to create a group of elite soldiers meant to subdue any obstacle in
their way, with little to no military casualties, second goal was to minimize civilian casualties and to
prevent a civil war from ever happening and thirdly goal was minimizing the general cost of war.
Halsey 's proposal for the project was farfetched at best it detailed radical changes and would test
the boundaries of people's ethical beliefs and moral code. The first and most controversial was the
subjects themselves, they were picked from a gene–candidate pool of boys all at the age of six years
old. This narrowed the

Video Games Have On Culture
The Far Reaching Influence Video Games Have on Culture
All you can see on screen is a pair of arms holding a gun as you proceed down a poorly lit, grungy
tunnel. Looking down, you can't see your own feet–not because of the gloom, they simply weren't
included in the design. A heads up display shows ammo, health, shields, and a motion tracker in the
corner while an aiming reticule sits in the center of the screen. The graphics are shoddy at best by
today's standards, but at the time it was released this was considered to be the cutting edge of video
games. This is Halo: Combat Evolved, released in 2001, not even two decades ago. Now known as
the first in the Halo series, at the time it was an example of how far video games had come; today it

"In books, everything is laid before you," he says. "There is nothing left for you to discover. Video
games are the only forms of artistic expression that allow the authoritative voice of the author to
remain true while allowing the observer to explore and experiment." This is especially true when
looking at older creations, when the graphics and narratives were limited by the current technology,
forcing players to draw heavily from their imaginations, becoming what Melissinos calls the game's
"third voice," the first voice being the designer of the game, and the second voice being the
mechanics of the game itself (Tucker).
One of the most memorable parts of any game is its main theme, the song that plays during the title
screen . Originally simple 8–bit tunes meant to draw attention at arcades, a video game's soundtrack
was handled by the programmers, limited to whatever space was left over after the game itself was
complete (Hsu). As a result, early games such as Tetris had a single short, repetitive song that would
loop constantly in the background, eventually becoming embedded in the player's brain. As
technology developed to allow for more efficient data storage, companies were able to add longer
and more complex songs. Eventually, as games became more immersive, the soundtrack became a
way to emphasize what was occurring on screen (Hsu). With video games becoming an increasingly

Halo: Combat Evolved And Battlefield 4
As a Monmouth University student who studies Communications in Radio/TV cluster, my biggest
passion is music. I am an on–air disc jockey and E–Board member of the Monmouth's radio station
WMCX 88.9 FM. One of my favorite hobbies that I love to talk about on–air and discuss with my
friends and family is playing video games. For my research topic, I want to discover how music and
sound are strategically used in video games. The two video games I will be discussing about when
linking my research topic are Halo: Combat Evolved and Battlefield 4. In this paper, I will explain
how music is used strategically in Halo: Combat Evolved as well as justify how sounds are used
strategically in Battlefield 4. I will also clarify the history of game ... Show more content on

Halo 2 Research Paper

  • 1. Halo 2 Research Paper Halo: Combat Evolved was introduced on November 15, 2001. The Halo franchise had grown exponentially over the years making it one of the game changers in the gaming industry. Halo 2 and Halo 3 were the most ground breaking and different games in the series in that they were able to give players more diversity than ever before. These games pushed the story, art, multiplayer and features to new heights. They even helped the player connect personally to these main characters and create a personal feel to the game. The story in Halo 2 started where Halo: Combat Evolved left off. Halo was a forerunner alien ring that the USMC had discovered and had to emergency land on. Throughout the game the main character (Master Chief) discovered what the purpose of the ring was which he eventually destroyed. Halo 2 was after those events and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Halo 2 you can see how they paid so much attention to the sky and land design. While the character is on the halo planet you can actually see how the ring extends all around and over you. While on earth you can see up above how there are space stations fighting against enemies. The player can tell that there was so much detail and attention to the simplest things. As for The Master Chief his suit and armor has become an icon in the gaming industry. After the success of the first game, Halo 2 developers upgraded his suit to look even better than the last. They added more corners and ridges and made the suit look a lot cleaner and less blocky. The enemies in the game got a pretty nice upgrade as well. The showed them with a lot meaner outfits that showed their true savageness more. They showed them with a lot more scarring to where you can see where they had gone through some tough times. The colors and cleanliness of the characters make the game much more ... • 2. Persuasive Essay On Halo 3 Back in the year 2007 there was a video game series called "Halo" developed by Bungie Studios, who are also recently known for their new title "Destiny". This series was a science–fiction action first person shooter which depicts a war between the human race and an untied alien races, The Covenant. The series' first title was back in 2002 and then two year later came the sequel, Halo 2. This was when the series really kicked off and the fan base swelled. It would be three year before another installment came out. So the new fan base waited eagerly and the hype for the new game grew. The hype around Halo 3 was massive, it still feels like nothing has surpassed surrounding this game. In fact it was the biggest entertainment launch at the time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The existence of the established loyal fans meant we could guarantee Halo 3 would sell well, but this case study will demonstrate how we creative strategy to lift the game out of its hard core silo and into mainstream popular culture. Halo 3's 'Believe' is a tale of planning working to ensure media and creative combined across numerous channels to tell an epic story. This epic story has helped bring the franchise to a new audience, in doing so making Halo 3 the biggest entertainment launch of all time. As a body of work this campaign shows us that the proliferation of media channels is not a challenge for integration, but an opportunity to tell a story across a bigger marketing communications canvas. This paper tells how we had to extend the appeal Halo beyond a loyal hard core fan base in order to make Halo 3 the biggest entertainment launch of all time. • 3. Comparison Of Halo And Call Of War Let's analyze this. Halo and its single player campaign held a vast universe and followed the Spartan warriors into battle to save the Earth from the alien invasion of 2 different races while Call of Duty has switched from World War 2 and the Modern era. I must say, the World War 2 story lines were quite boring, being the same in almost every way, but the Modern Warfare story line caught my attention. With the evil villain Makarov and the twists and turns the story made in Modern Warfare 2, I was on the edge of my seat. But, Halo was in every way better in the single–player front. Following genetically enhanced Spartan warriors into battle fighting off hordes of aliens I was amazed with how deep the story got and how Bungie used every asset they could to enhance the story further in a not so crazy way. Ah co–op. The lovely days of playing a game with a friend right beside you on a Saturday will never be forgotten. When co–op was finally introduced into the CoD series in World at War, I was very impressed. The co–op campaign ability never really took for me, but what really got me and the rest of the world was Zombies. Nazi ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This finally paragraph will analyze the uniqueness of each game. Starting with Halo, the Forge mode brought to us by Halo 3 revolutionized multiplayer maps and gametypes far beyond what we could've imagined. Also, the theater mode brought by Halo 3 helped the creative minds of the community. Now Call of Duty...well Call of Duty didn't really bring that much uniqueness but it did help evolve the modern fast paced shooter into what it is now. In addition, the 60 frames per second on that game makes it a Call of Duty title while Halo and basically all other games lack that aspect. As I've said too many people, Halo is a crappy game at the start that eventually evolves into a giant while CoD is awesome until exploits in the game are ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The "instantly recognizable tune that is to Halo what Monty Norman's theme is to the James Bond films" has earned Halo as well as O'Donnell countless awards. This paper will focus on his personal life, education, career, and influence. Martin O'Donnell is an American composer born on May 1, 1955. His father worked on film productions, while his mother taught piano. Because of this, Martin took piano lessons as kid, and later would want to start a rock band while in junior high. O'Donnell was influenced by many famous classical musicians including Beethoven, Brahms, and Barber as well as the progressive rock groups Jethro Tull and Genesis. Because of his parents' professions and his earlier talents and hobbies, O'Donnell was inspired to study classical music and composition at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. In the early 1980s, O'Donnell earned his Master's degree cum laude in music composition from the University of South California. Chapter Five Summary, Discussion and Implications Introduction "Decision making is a complex cognitive process influenced by a number of factors" (Johnson & Kruse, 2009, p. 33). A leader is called on to make numerous decisions each day to meet the needs of their organization. The individuals associated with an organization look to the leader to have the answers to the many problems that present themselves. The challenge for the leader to is to make the "right" decision, but what the right decision is varies and is not always clear. This program was implemented as a result of the Response to Intervention initiative in 2004. The conclusions drawn from this analysis will be clearly articulated, along with limitations of the study, future implications and recommendations for future research. The students were divided into two groups, those that were exited reading at or above grade level and those that were exited slightly below grade level during the spring benchmark for grade two. Once exited from the program, the students in this study did not receive any further literacy interventions. For purposes of the study, up to five years of data from each cohort was analyzed. • 6. Analysis Of Halo: Combat Evolved Our children may never know the revolutionary pleasure the videogame Halo: Combat Evolved was when it appeared with a story, plot and overall entertainment value that put everything else to shame. But the universe won't. We found Halo. In a manner of speaking. Astronomers and the general public have been inspired by the amalgam of structures discovered in deep space, however, today they announced the existence of an unimaginably massive structure composed of a loose ellipse of galaxies, roughly 5 billion light years in diameter. This intergalactic halo was limned indirectly by 9 observed gamma–ray bursts, and has been triangulated at about 7 billion light years' distance. From the ground, the ring spans a distance that's 70 times the diameter ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is actually a precept of the science, called the "Cosmological Principle," and it's already found ground in the form of NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) and Europe's Planck Space Telescope, both of which catalogue cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. Until recently, the upper–limit for cosmic structures was 1.2 billion light–years across, but this gamma–ray burst halo is 5 times the size of that limit. That's a theoretical discrepancy no trade could ignore. What's more, another structure of gamma–ray bursts was discovered, spanning a distance of 10 billion light–years. What madness is responsible for this super–geometry? Some macro–cosmology holds that there are areas of our universe which clump together in web–like strands that flow for billions of light–years, creating "holes" in the universe, where little to no matter or energy is present. But presently, this newest structure creates a super–void that puts even the most superlative absences to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The iconic series of the Halo Universe is a franchise that is looked at as the pinnacle of the competitive multiplayer system. Bungie studios, who were originally partnered with Take–Two Interactive studios, which developed the top–down actioner Grand Theft Auto series, created this masterpiece of a game in the late 1990s, after numerous trial and errors of what they wanted to do. The original Halo game was supposed to be released for the Macintosh OS X but after a presentation showcasing the game, the event was so good that it caught the eyes of Microsoft Studios. The brand builder who attempts to develop a strong brand is like a golfer playing on a course with heavy roughs, deep sand traps, sharp doglegs, and vast water barriers. It is difficult to score well in such conditions. Substantial pressures and barriers, both internal and external, can inhibit the brand builder. A host of food categories have watched Weight Watchers and Healthy Choice enter their markets through brand extension strategies. In the snack category, Frito–Lay has seen regional brands expand and Budweiser 's Eagle brand break out of its niche to become a major competitor. New product forms that provide real alternatives for the customer have encroached the soft drink market, bottled water, carbonated water, fruit–based drinks, and "new age" drinks, among others. Additional competitors not only contribute to price pressure and brand complexity, but also make it much harder to gain and hold a position. They leave fewer holes in the market to exploit and fewer implementation vehicles to own. Each brand tends to be positioned more narrowly, the target markets become smaller, and the non–target market becomes larger. Efforts to market to a broad segment thus become more difficult in the face of the complex 'brandscape' Further, some new or desperate competitors may be motivated to take risks or attempt unusual approaches. The result can be destabilization of the competitive dynamics. There is also an enhanced motivation to copy anything that is successful, in part because the risks of ... In Halo, players fight multiple alien races as the legendary Spartan II, a genetically enhanced super soldier, named John S117. Recently, the creators of Halo released a new game called Destiny; in the game, "guardians" fight off multiple alien races in an attempt to destroy an ancient evil known as the Darkness. Many gamers claim that Halo and Destiny are very different, however, a true Halo fan can identify the similarities between the two games. Though the two games have small differences, Halo and Destiny are the same in many ways; the weapons, the enemies fought, and the AI companion system. When a Halo fan picks up his first weapon in Destiny, whether it be a scout rifle or an auto rifle, he should instantly be able to acknowledge the similarity in mechanics. In Halo the weapon mechanics are simple, a player can pick up anything that he can find. In contrast, Destiny has completely customizable weapon mechanics; a primary weapon slot, a secondary weapon slot, and a heavy weapon slot. The Pueblo flood occurred on the Evening of June 5, 1921. The flood that changed the town of Pueblo forever and is still even to this day the deadliest flood in Colorado's History. However, what is not well known is the fact that there was not one flood but three, the devastation that overtook the town was monumental. The firsthand accounts were heartbreaking, the experience of learning about the flood has truly changed my view and outlook on water tremendously. The Pueblo flood facts are as follows; the flood occurred in 1921 in the month of June. The first flood occurred due to heavy rain that fell over a small area called Dry Creek which lies just above Pueblo, The Rise in the River caused the banks to overflow, this occurred on the evening of June 2nd. The Second Flood, which is known as the main flood took place on the night of June 3rd and will be the main focus of this paper. The Third flood occurred on the morning of June 5th due to the breaking of the Schaeffer Reservoir in an area known as Beaver Creek. The exact amount the height of the flood waters got to will never truly be known, but there is evidence though out Pueblo even to this day that documents how high ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The game's title is a play on the term "escape velocity" – a physics term describing the kinetic speed at which an object must be travelling to escape a celestial body's gravitational pull – and the hero's name, Tina. The game's story centers on Tina's plight to save her people from the threat of a looming extinction event brought on by her planet's lack of resources. It was officially established April 1st, 2003; although, the company made video production content, such as parodies and short movies, before then. The history of Rooster Teeth starts at the University of Texas in the mid–1990s. Three friends, Michael "Burnie" Burns, Matt Hullum, and Joel Heyman were friends who attended the university in Austin. They were not the best students, and they were worried the high–paying technology jobs, that were growing increasingly popular at the time, were out of their reach. So, as an attempt to get themselves noticed in the industry, they decided to make a short film together. The film was called "The Schedule;" Burns and Hullum directed it while Heyman played the lead role. The three of them brought their film to several festivals, and they received some minor recognition. In fact, it prompted Heyman to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, and Hullum decided to "follow his heart (i.e. Joel)" (roosterteeth.com) and decided to move there as well to work in visual effects. Burns stayed in Austin, where he started working at a tech support center, and where he eventually became Director of Operations. At this point in time, three key players who would eventually form Rooster Teeth were separated from each other, and they could have feasibly spent the rest of their lives this way. Similar aspects of Genesis 1 are echoed; a new cosmic order is installed, initiating a pre creation period. God blesses the humans and commissions them to take domination over all creatures. This passage is of great importance to not just the Genesis story but also the Old Testament as a whole. I will further depict central meanings throughout the passage, as well as investigate literary aspects in order to grasp a greater understanding of this chapter. (5:1–9:29) The opening line "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth (Ge 9:1)" establishes a start in a significant period of time. While Adam and Eve were asked a similar command from God, their sins and disobedience was the end of the beginning. The Noahic covenant is the covenant that God made with Noah after he left the ark, sealed with a rainbow, that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. The narrative of Noah and the Ark is one of the most well known stories from the Old Testament. In some of its artistic representations, it is characterised as a story of an old man who takes pairs of animals onto an ark to ride out an incredible flood, safely coming to rest as a rainbow appears in the sky. Whilst the essence of this is recorded in the Genesis account of the Flood, the biblical narrative is much more than this unusual story. It is a narrative written in the context of an Israelite community, striving to understand and interpret the way their God works in and through both humanity and the world God has created for all. Summarise passage meaning and use of literary techniques (world of the text) Literary Context The passage, Genesis 9: 1–17 in the Old Testament draws on the themes explored throughout the first eight chapters of the biblical book. The second design insight I learned from Halo 2 is that good level design can really extend the life of a game. A Procedurally Generated Dungeon Crawler game would best suit this generation. Most of these types of games don't really require a heavily voiced Protagonist, due to the fact that more often than not your Player Character is completely isolated. Procedural Generation would add plenty of replay value to the game, as the randomly generated dungeons would never repeat (or would at least have very low odds of repeating). For the Boom Generation, a Japanese Roleplaying Game format would be the best type of game for them. Almost 100% of the time, these types of games have an overwhelmingly large spiritual theme around them.
