WCG US OPEN: Gamers’ Feedback
“I have TONS of positive things to say about the (WCG US Open)
event: it was very smoothly and cleanly organized, all the
tournament refs were polite to the players and everyone I spoke to
was very helpful. Also, the venue was nicely setup, and I've rarely
been a tournament where I've been so aware of the
schedule/structure of the days events.
I'd like to assure you that I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of
the event. The organization and smoothness of the tournament is
what WCG USA has been needing for a long time.”
Sean “Day” Plott
*Star Craft
“I also wanted to say thank you for
running a great event, my team and I
definitely had a great time attending
and participating in the WCG US Open
this year. I look forward to meeting
you again at the U.S. Finals.”
Nick Fitzsimmons

The Mug and Mouse game center packed them in as several
of the top gamers from around the WCG USA South region
squared off in a good old fashioned Texas shootout. The
Counter Strike and Gears of War teams’ guns were blazing
thanks to some of the fastest trigger fingers in the land. But
‘shooters” weren't the only gamers causing mayhem. With a
huge DOA4 community located right in the heart of Texas it
was no surprise to see some of the very best gamers in the
world digitally fighting their way all the way to Orlando.
