2. Costumes
• Black skirts and black
tights for the female
characters.
• White shirts for female
characters.
• Smart, black shoes for
both male and female
characters.

black trousers and shoes
for male characters.
3. Setting
• We will be using two houses.
• 1 house for in order to use a bed in it.
• Another for the use of a banister within it.
• possibly another use of a house for the bedroom.
• Montacute house & Gardens – the garden will be the outside of the
school.
4. Props
• £50 note (picked up when she sings ‘grab my lunch’).
• Bookbag/backpack/rucksack.
• Mobile phone (my iPhone), for Ella, & I Elizabeth will be using
Ella’s phone, as it looks prettier. It seemed the best option as
Elizabeth is on screen more frequently. Also, it is conventional for
the main character to have nicer, prettier and more expensive
items.
• Umbrella.
• Glasses for Cecil (female character who envies Elizabeth.
• Glasses for Hugo.
• Tatty, scruffy looking footwear for Cecil, causing her to stand out
from the other characters, representing conventional
differentiation between certain characters.
