 Inspiration form Wes Andersen’s filming style
 Day in life of an object idea from an advert of
Listerine intense taste mouthwash
 Initial idea was of object being a bed, decided on a
more practical moveable object
 About a girl- conversation to the camera by herself-
thinking out loud

4. Plot
Plot summary:
Day in the life of a teddy, people of different
backgrounds coming together through children
 Teddy in bed, Jack reaches out and hugs it
 Eating breakfast with teddy
 Getting dressed with teddy
 Gets ready to go on a walk- with teddy
 Shots of going out for walk with Jack holding
teddy
 Goes back home and establish that teddy is
missing
 Cuts to shot of teddy in woods- night time
comes
 Eloise and Layla out for walk-find teddy on
ground
 Pick up teddy
 Eloise goes to job centre
 Eloise establishes she's unhappy through
thinking out loud
• REPEAT OF NIGHT AND MORNING ROUTINE

• Both families walk to same woods
• Teddy is on ground(Layla put it down for a sec)
• Ella realises Layla has Jack’s teddy
• Eloise says give back teddy to Jack

Ella’s house:
• Layla’s room - Evening (open scene= putting Layla to bed)

• Front hallway - Leaving house in morning

• Roberts Park - Ending with Ella, Jack, Eloise & Layla walking
• Chellow Dean- Walking with Ella and Jack–Jack puts teddy
down. Eloise and Layla pick it up

• Establishing that Eloise is looking for a job

Original quality
 Short film- train track families coming together. Gave
idea for the two different social classes coming
together.
 Teddy being what brings them together- our original
idea- Ella thought of orientating around an object
and Zahra thought of a teddy being the object

 Deals with adult problems- such as class and
misfortune, therefore more for ages 15+
