Oval access doors for rectangular and oval air duct systems
6.2.3 REVISION RRD - SKK with edge protection
- Access door lid with self-adhesive edge protection and polyamide locking levers
- Edge protection to be inserted onto the duct wall
- Providing protection against damage and acting as a sealant
- Access doors installed as per requirements are air tight against
a maximum air-pressure of 5.000 Pa
- Heat resistant -70°C till +70°C
- Not resistant against oil and fat

Tips:
- As per DIN 24145 the curvature of the RRD-Access doors is equivalent to the Ø
of the folded spiral-seam pipes
- Minimum width for all RRD-Access doors: Access doors incision + 50 mm
- For Pipes with intermediate dimensions one chooses the pipe access door lid with
the closest standard diameter. A limited variance in the diameter can be easily
accommodated by the thin walled pipes.
