6.1.5 ACCESS DOOR IRD
Tip:
- For externally insulated air duct systems
- For liners use only the following access doors:
IRD 42, IRD 53, IRD 64, IRD 75
Workmanship + Assembling:
1) Use the access door bezel as a stencil to cut out the necessary insulation.
The insulation size should be 20 mm smaller than the perimeter
of the bezel. When insulating permanently ream off a further 10 mm.
2) Using the inside of the bezel as a stencil make the necessary incision
on the duct wall
3) Insert access door lid: Insert the rubber profiled access door bezel.
Unscrew locking lever and insert slightly tilted lid
into the opening. Once inside, straighten the lid so that it now holds
an erect position – pull lightly and tighten the locking levers.
