Title of work: BloodSport
The type of product we will be creating is a trailer full of action because it’s a trailer we want to
Type of product: create tension amongst the audience. We will be making the opening 2-5 minutes of a trailer that will
be rated a 15.
The film trailer is rated 15 because of the research we conducted. Also our secondary research
about the BBFC this helped us rate our opening of our trailer. It enabled us to use the elements of a
15 and not a 18.
We conducted the research because it helped us find out more about the audience we targeted.
Our trailer will include moderate language because it is rated 15. We will not use the inappropriate
Legal and ethical language that is aggressive because it’s a 15 most teens might not be mature and might start to
constraints: follow the action and use the language that is inappropriate also little children might also be
watching it.
Drugs may be used as-well but we must not promote drugs to the audience because of the age it is
rated at. Some scenes may be imitable as dangerous behavior may be involved. This is because
our film rating may change might be reduced to 12 and later may be shown and little children may
be watching.
Our audience is targeted 15 and above because of the survey we conduced, it allowed us to find out
more about our audience. Its also targeted at those who love action and are fan of upbeat fast pace
movies. People that like movies that put them on the edge of their seat. Also everyone loves
watching action trailers where the audience have to find who the villains and who the main character
Audience: is, also most people think action trailers are boring as they may predict the narrative already, thus
we have to show them something different. The gender is both male and female ,its also targeted at
those who are raised up in an areas where action is the main thing they watch. Also to show the
fans of the audience for example; fans of the director, fans of the actors and fans of the action comic
books. By watching the trailer it will raise enigmas.
Our content is linked to the research we’ve conducted because it helped build up the story line and
what to include in our story. It also gave us ideas.
Our trailer will first start with an opening scene were its upbeat and tense which will have the
audience at the edge of their seat, also the sound track used makes it more fast pace to ensure the
audience that they can understand the narrative. After these scenes the trailer we are shown
‘Columbia’ we have used this institution because it promotes action films and thus makes our trailer
more successful as it targets a global target audience.
• Equilibrium: The Billionaire hires 5 hit men to hunt down one another and calls on a meeting with his
Content: business partners to play a game where each of his colleagues bet on which hit man will survive
and kill the rest.
• Disequilibrium: All the hit men later are confused in to why they’re hunting each other down and later
on discover that the Billionaire has set up a betting game on them with his colleagues and thus gate
crash their meeting and cause havoc on them all.
• New Equilibrium: They figure out that they can get more money by stealing from each colleague and
make a deal with one another before they gate crash. However one of the hit men deceives their
deal and points a gun on them all thus asks to for all the money but before he does that they all
react and point the gun on each other and within seconds they all fire their guns and kill each other.
