Dear Parents,
It was lovely to see some of you at our harvest festival yesterday, we
hope you enjoyed it. This is our last week for this half term and we
shall be beginning to focus on Autumn and the changes we see all around
us.
Activities we will be doing in Preschool:
• Looking at different autumn items on our nature table and talking
about their colours.
• We will also be counting leaves, conkers, etc and introducing size
language as we talk which are the biggest and the smallest.
Activities to do at home with your child:
• Go to the park for a walk and enjoy scrunching through the
leaves. Collect some autumn items and bring them in for our
nature table.
• Talk about the colours you see, particularly red, brown and
orange.
Notices:
• Remember that preschool will be closed on Friday 23rd
October
for a staff inset day. We are then closed until Monday 2nd
November for the half term holiday.
• The photographer will be in session on Monday 9th
November. If
your child does not attend preschool on a Monday you will be
able to pop in during the Mums and Toddlers session at 1.30pm.
