The students had a pretend trip to India where they experienced Indian culture through music, dance, crafts, food and dress. They learned about India by making kites, Rangoli patterns with colored sand and paper, celebrating harvest traditions, and having their passports stamped. Their week-long unit on India culminated in a live performance by an Indian dance group.
