  1. 1. nd2 Grade News Mrs. Ealy’s Class September 28, 2012 Letter from Mrs. Ealy Next Week’s Specials Dear Parents, Where did the month of September go? I can’t believe Monday – P.E. (Wear Sneakers) Monday is already October! We have had a wonderful first month of Tuesday – Art and Computers school and have started to settle into our daily routines. Please Wednesday – Music and P.E. (Wear Sneakers) remember to look through your child’s OWL binder each night, sign their Thursday – Library and Music planner, and ask them about their day! Thank you for all of your support Friday – Wellness at home. Today the whole school participated in the Fun Run. Every student received a t-shirt to wear. We were paired up with Mr. What We’re Learning About! Rehnlund’s 4th and 5th graders during the Fun Run. We started out the Math – This week we finished Unit 1 on concepts from first grade. Fun Run on the black top warming up, then continued by running or We played a review game on Monday for our test that was on walking around the playground, and finally enjoying a popsicle on the Tuesday. Your child’s test was sent home today. Please look for it kickball field. Thank you to everyone who has been fundraising money in their binder! We also started Unit 2 which is on Addition and for Oxbow! All donations are due by Wednesday, October 3rd in order to Subtraction Facts. By the end of 2nd grade students need to master be eligible for all the great prizes! We hope to reach our goal of $25.00 addition and subtraction facts from 0-20.
