1. Question 2: how does your media product represent particular social groups?
For my production work, I have chosen to represent a
social group leaning towards younger, more teenage
audience and social groups who feel that rock music is
their preferred music style.
First I wanted to know what colour teenagers would like
for a new magazine and the result was red, black and
white. I added all this in to my magazine and it now
appeals to teenagers and slightly older people round the
age of 18-24.
What my magazine says to rock fans is that there are
plenty of news to know about your favourite bands and
gives you some great tips on how to start bands and more
similar stuff.
