 Applied analysis : from physical laws to
functional analysis (12 credits)
 Stochastic modeling and statistics (12 credits)
 Optional choice, specific to program (6 credits)

 Physics of faults and interfaces
 Protein dynamics : coagulation-fragmentation-polymerisation

9. Second semester courses:
 Internship research training (18 credits)
 2 specific courses for each program (12 credits)
 Geostatistics and Fluids analysis and modeling
 Physics and Fluids analysis and modeling
 Populations dynamics and High dimension
statistics for genomics

10. Practical details
 First semester = approx from Sept. 5 to Dec. 20
 Second semester = from Jan. 6 to Feb. 28
 Internship = minimum 4 months
 Deadline for oral defense = Sept. 30
 One year = 60 units
