2. MathGeAr Quality Assurance
Framework
Development and control of the system of internal indicators of progress (included into reports)
Quality control of the principle deliverables (peer review by Individual experts upfront their submission, peer-
view visits by appointed experts; internal reporting to the project decision making bodies)
Design and implementation of inter-project surveys (feedback questionnaires design, gathering, processing
and analytical reports provision)
Event organization quality control procedures (development of blue-print documents for all project events,
control of performance)

4. MathGeAr Quality Assurance
Measures
Event organization quality control procedures based on the feedback gathered from participants during
the project events (ongoing)
Feedback/consultation/advice on the quality assurance/accreditation standards of Curricula
Modernization (completed)
Interim evaluation questionnaire, that will address the overall performance of the partners during the
project (expected)
Math-Bridge evaluation questionnaire, that will be distributed among students to gather feedback on
the effectiveness of the tool (expected)
Final evaluation questionnaire, administered to partners towards the end of the project in order to
assess if the project objectives had been achieved and suggest future actions (expected)

The scope of information presented by main speakers of the workshop was sufficiently wide and useful.
The effectiveness of the workshop was essentially raised by successfully chosen topics for practical
exercises, independent work with Math-Bridge and very intensive discussions.
The workshop helped us improve our professional skills to work with Math-Bridge.
Opportunity to get acquainted with information environment.
It was the first opportunity to obtain full enough knowledge of the basic aspects of the real adaptive
learning system.
This was a new perspective on the study of mathematics.
Many modern methods and many people for interesting discussions.

Partners did not actively participate in Math-Bridge discussion.
The time was pretty short.
There were not enough practical demos and presentations.
The topics are too general.
Late organization, too many 'official' presentations on the 1st day.
Not enough time to go into deep discussions.
Problems associated with the operation of the system.
Absence of guiding documentation.

The QA leans on the following principles
Flexibility: The project is amenable to adapt to emerging needs identified during the project life-cycle.
Participation: All partners take part in all project meetings and events related to the tasks or activities they have to carry out. All decisions taken together with the operational specifications of the activities are recorded in written form.
Participatory evaluation is a learning process (in and of itself) that can increase programmatic learning and ownership of the program. Participation adds value — the more participatory the process, the more value can potentially be added to the program, as learning is extended to the program, its implementers, and its beneficiaries during the evaluation process. Ultimately, participation in evaluation facilitates consensus-building and ownership of evaluation findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Efficacy and Effectiveness: The processes/phases produce the expected results in terms of planned outputs in the timeframe foreseen and within the remit of working plan. The corrective measures are agreed and approved by all partners. The level of the resources employed for carrying out the activities is coherent with the resource level anticipated in the approved project. All corrective measures are approved by all partners
Transparency: The nature and level of resourcing available and all processes are transparent to all members of the partnership
Credibility and usefulness will also depend on the transparency of the evaluation – the ready availability of findings to all stakeholders.
Usefulness: For evaluation to affect decision making, findings must be perceived as useful and as geared to current operational concerns.
