I created this presentation through slideshare as one of my evaluation questions.

2.  The whole construction process for our magazines were
through PhotoShop. Although I worked with PhotoShop at one
point during my GCSEs, it was only for two days. This time round
I have learnt many new tricks and editing techniques which I
have applied to the construction of my magazine especially
as using it this time round was over an extended period of
time.
 I’ve learnt how to crop around certain things or shapes, edit
lighting, duplicating layers to compare and contrast possible
decisions, move layers in a certain order to have a piece of
work over the other, placing text on different layers for spacing
purposes.
 Overall I have learnt a lot from PhotoShop over this time,
including new techniques and the point of continuously saving
updated work which I will extend on in the following slide.

3.  Throughout this process I have lost two pieces of work.
One being a blog post which I could easily re-make and
the second being much more important as it was my
magazine cover and it was lost on the day of the deadline
for this piece of work.
 This taught me the importance of constantly saving work
as in this subject there is no guarantee of the technology
in use being 100% on my side. Crashing can sometimes be
caused by the overload of data on the computer which
has also taught me to close a window or tab
once I am finished with it and no longer in use.
 I learnt that the crashing of computers in this
subject could cause stress and difficulty to the
person who’s work may be lost as a few of my
fellow class mates have also had the same
dilemma.

4.  I used SurveyMonkey.com to help me create
an online questionnaire which is easy to create
and complete for both the researcher and
participants. This site gave me the advantage
of reaching more people through Web 2.0 in a
quicker time limit by sending the questionnaire
through e-mail or social media sites such as
WhatsApp, Twitter or Facebook.
 Using Survey Monkey shoed me the
advantages and benefits Web 2.0 could give
me by speeding up any process during the
time of constructing my work.

5.  The cameras we used to take pictures for our main artist and
features for our magazines were Canon eos 500 megapixel
cameras. During the time of using the cameras one of the main
problems was focus. I realised that this was my main objective as
looking back on my image decisions, the focus could have been
used at a better state.
 The better focus on the camera used also made me realise that
the better the focus – the more emphasis on the positive aspects
in the image. An example of this could be the focus emphasising
on the mise-en-scene of my main artist, showing her jewellery
and props through a clearer picture.
 The second main problem I found while using
the cameras was the lighting, after taking
around 3 pictures I would look back at the
images and decided whether I wanted to
change some of the lighting as this in the future
would have made it much easier during the
editing process on PhotoShop.

6.  Through the whole construction
process, as a class we also had to
blog the process and improvements.
During the actual blogging process I
was learning as I went along from how to post a
blog up to editing the layout of my blog. Doing this
showed me another side of Web 2.0 which allowed
me to learn new techniques which I know will
benefit me in the future.
 Another thing Blogger has taught me is the
variation of different media which I could use to
represent my work, these different uses of media
also allowed me to show and share the process of
my work quickly and with ease.
