2. TENSES
The tenses that we use are :
1) Present continuous tense
2) Future tense ( will and to be going to )
3. PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
FORM ( is/am/are + v-ing )
Time :
1. Now
2. Longer actions in progress now
3. Near future
4. NOW
To express the idea that something is happening now, it
can also be used to show that something not
happening now.
past present future
Example :
1)You are learning English now.
2)You aren’t swimming now.
3)Are you sleeping?
5. LONGER ACTIONS
IN PROGRESS NOW
To say that we are in the process of doing a longer
action which is in progress.
past present future
Example :
1)I am studying to become a doctor.
2)We are going to Bali this month.
6. NEAR FUTURE
To indicate that something will / will not happen in the
near future.

Example :
1)I am going to the party tonight.
2)Is he visiting his parents next weekend?
7. FUTURE TENSE
1) WILL
An action in the future that cannot be
infulenced / prediction.
Example :
1) It will rain tomorrow.
2) I think our team will win the match.
3) Maybe, we will stay at home.
8. 2) TO BE GOING TO
You are certain that something is
going to happen in the future.
Example :
1) Look at the car! It is going to
crash into the yellow one.

10. ASKING PLAN

11. EXAMPLE
A : I think it’s better if we’ve a picnic.
B : It’d bad idea, if we’ve a picnic, we
needs some foods.
