2. To do a great presentation we should
follow some steps…
• Be prepared. This mean: read the subject many times as possible.
• Divide your presentation in: introduction, development and
conclusion
• Write down some notes or do a summary. (it helps to organize the
ideas!)
• Think about the visual aids; how you will organize everything and
what is the type of presentation, for example: I’m using Power Point
to show my ideas.
• So… let’s work! Now you should sit in front of the computer and
start to see your presentation leaving your thoughts and becoming
real…
• If it is possible, put some interactive points, like games, or ask
something to the audience, put them making part of this
experience.
3. • Read, read and read again… Correct the mistakes.
• Speak your presentation out loud, in front of a mirror or to your
family and friends.
• Don’t forget! Do something that you can use as a support to remind
you. (if you forget something…)
• When you are face to face with your audience, pretend they are
familiar to you. Talk to them as you talk to a friend, look most of
them in the eyes. Never give your back to the audience or to your
power point… (it’s bad! )
• The oral presentation is based in self control. (so, put yourself
together!!!)
• When you are talking, don’t forget to breathe…. (we don’t want an
accident…)
4. • At the moment, forget the professor, you are talking to your
colleagues, everybody is here to learn, so this the place to
make some mistakes and correct than on time.
• Pay attention to your voice, be clear, don’t yell or whisper.
(after all, we are here to see and listen YOU!!!!)
• If you get to nervous squeeze that little balls, you know?!
• Everything is ready!!! RELAX! Now you must be secure to
yourself, you can’t do nothing more.
• Lead the subject and do your best.
• If you followed this steps, I’m sure you be succeeded in
your presentation! GOOD LUCK!!!
