Area Responsibility
Within the Technical Department, the Process Engineering Supervisor has the following
roles and responsibilities:
1. Bears joint responsibility with all other plant personnel for ensuring a safe and
environmentally sound work environment.
2. Recruits, trains, supervise, and evaluate the Process Engineers and support engineers
within the Supervisor’s area of responsibility.
3. Develops and controls the Process Engineering operating budget.
4. Prepares conceptual/feasibility study, basic and detailed engineering design data
pertaining to existing process or equipment modifications, or involving the
installation of new process or equipment; approves related detailed designs.
5. Develops, implements, and oversees systems to ensure all process requirement and
related information are maintained in an efficient, orderly manner.
6. Partners with all plant and selected general office personnel, particularly plant
Operations, Maintenance, and EHS personnel, in providing technical assistance to
effectively and efficiently solve plant problems.
7. Develop strategy and target for reducing variable cost include energy and other
chemicals as well as maximizing plant capacity.
8. Prioritizes plans, and coordinates to evaluate potential operating cost reduction
include estimation of capital budget for potential operating cost reduction.
9. Manages Process Engineering expense budgets and bears primary responsibility for
potential operating cost reduction administration.
10. Prepares and delivers reports to management summarizing the status of potential
operating cost reduction..
11. Assists the Technical Manager to develop the proposal capital budget yearly.
12. Assists the Technical Manager in long-range planning and budgeting activities.
13. Represents the company in negotiations with contractors, vendors, and regulatory
agencies, as required.

Position : Shift Supervisor (Utilities and Off sites)
Area responsibility
1. Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
2. Train and coach production line employees.
3. Conduct employee performance reviews.
4. Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations,
employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-
up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
5. Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and turn over (CSU team)
6. Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
7. Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
8. Responsible to meet shift production goals.
9. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to
produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
10. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis
(JSAs).

1. Establish Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for all Process (TPA) Section.
2. Prepare and recommend all CTA and PTA Manufacturing Operation schedules, plans

3. Implement and monitor systematic and effective interfacing among all Process (TPA)
Section.
4. Ensure that Process (TPA) processes are highly reliable to support the achievement of
efficient and effective operations and comply with Quality Management System and
Environmental Management System.
5. In coordination with the Mechanical and Electrical / Instrument Section Head, plan
for shut down, maintenance or repairment.
6. Direct preparation of Raw Material requirements and ensure its availability to support
Factory operation of Raw Material Planning Balance.
7. Monitor the product quality to ensure that product quality is within company standard
8. Ensure that Maintenance Schedules and Shift Schedule are followed according to
needs to enable stable operation.
9. Has overall control of any emergency at plant,such as fire or explosion ,rupture of
pipeline,vessel or tank , personnel injury.
10. Be responsible for development , implementation and follow up of loss control
program and ensures that established goals are met
