This document discusses restricting the update of a sub-inventory field for sales order lines when an internal requisition is created. Introduction:
Oracle form personalization is a functionality in Oracle Apps which allows us to
change the behavior of form based screen.
Form personalization can be easily moved from one instance to another instance, based on
site, user and responsibilities.
Functionalities of Form Personalization:
The various form personalization functionalities include:
1. Zoom from one form to another.
2. Enable/Disable/Restrict fields.
3. Restrict LOV or Pass values
4. Call custom libraries dynamically and so on…
In this module of form personalization, we will do form personalization to restrict
the sub-inventory field in the Sales Order line only for the Sales Orders where
Internal Requisition gets created.
What is ‘Restricting one field against Update ‘:

1. Openthe Standard SalesOrder Screen, then to Help> Diagnostics > Custom Code > Personalize.
