2. During the construction of this product I have used many software's to help
produce the final out come of my product.
In the planning stages of product I used a program called Serif PagePlus x6 which
allowed me to quickly and simply to layout the design plan for my media product. I
continued to use this software to create my front cover, context page and double page
spread as this program was better suited with tools that helped me edit elements in my
design compared to if I used Microsoft Publisher which would limit how I could design
my product and not produce a good quality final product.
The tools I used in Serif PagePlus allowed me to place individual amounts of text and
image elements in front or behind other elements allowing for things to stand out more
than others and in the end create a 3D effect of the main model coming off the page.
The tools also allowed me to crop images so that the main part of the image is being
displayed to the audience.
Moreover, I used Photolab which is a program that allowed me to digitally edit my
photos such as editing brightness, colour (temperature), curl, texture, sharpen etc.
