THE PROJECT
WORD SEARCH PUZZLE
THE PUZZLE WILL HAVE A HIDDEN CLUE THAT WILL LEAD
THE STUDENTS TO NAME THE PROJECT. ONCE THE TOP
NAMES FROM EACH COUNTRY HAVE BEEN SELECTED A
VOTING COMPETITION WILL OCCUR SO THE PROJECT
NAME CAN BE SELECTED.
TO BE DECIDED BY THE STUDENTS.
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: OCTOBER
LOGO
ONCE STUDENTS KNOW THE PROJECT TITLE THEY WILL
CREATE LOGOS THAT WILL REPRESENT THE PROJECT.
TEACHERS FROM EACH SCHOOL WILL CHOOSE THEIR TOP
LOGOS AND THEN THERE WILL BE A VOTING COMPETITION TO
CHOOSE THE TOP LOGOS. TO MAKE THE COMPETITION FAIR,
AN EQUAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS FROM EACH SCHOOL WILL
BE ALLOWED TO VOTE. ONE WAY THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED
IS TO ASK STUDENTS TO EMAIL THE TEACHER AND THE
TEACHER WILL SEND THE VOTING LINK TO THE SPECIFIC
NUMBER OF STUDENTS THE PROJECT PARTNERS HAVE
AGREED ON.
TO BE DECIDED BY THE STUDENTS.
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: OCTOBER
CALENDAR
STUDENTS CREATE PICTURES OF FAMOUS LANDMARKS,
ATTRACTIONS OR EVEN COUNTRIES FROM AROUND THE
WORLD. A SELECTION OF PICTURES FROM ALL THE
SCHOOLS WILL BE USED TO CREATE THE CALENDAR.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – TO KNOW DIFFERENT
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE COUNTRIES.
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: OCTOBER AND
NOVEMBER
SCHOOL AND STUDENTS PRESENTATION
EACH SCHOOL WILL MAKE A REPRESENTATION ABOUT YOUR
SCHOOL, THE STUDENTS, YOUR CITY, YOUR COUNTRY, YOUR
TRADITIONS….ETC , WHATEVER YOU WANT TO KNOW TO KNOW
EACH OTHER. IT CAN BE WITH POWER POINT, A VIDEO,
COMMENTING ON PHOTOS.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY - TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER.
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: OCTOBER AND
NOVEMBER
Comic book
The comic tells the story of some children who are traveling around the
world and know different countries, in this case, the partner countries. Each
school will draw 2-3 pages of those children traveling through their own
country, the balloons will be without text. To complete the texts, we will
establish a rotation of schools and each school will add the text of another
country. For example, India draws some comic book pages on its country
but Spain adds the text, so we are rotating.
Why do the activity – So students can write about topics that they are
interested in and we can also work collaboratively.
Month(s) the activity will be done in: December, January and February
PENPAL
EXCHANGE OF LETTERS BETWEEN STUDENTS.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – SO STUDENTS HAVE PHYSICAL
MATERIALS OF THEIR EXCHANGES.
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: THROUGHOUT
THE WHOLE YEAR.
LANGUAGE BOARD GAME
THE STUDENTS WILL CREATE THEIR OWN BOARD GAME WITH
QUESTIONS IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND ABOUT THE DIFFERENT
COUNTRIES. THE BOARD GAME QUESTIONS WILL HAVE MULTIPLE
CHOICE ANSWERS FOR YOUNGER LEARNERS. IF OLDER STUDENTS ARE
PLAYING THE GAME THEN THE CARD READER WILL NOT READ THE
MULTIPLE CHOICE ANSWERS. THE BOARD CAN BE A COMBINATION OF
PROJECT LOGOS. HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF GREEK GAME CARDS.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – WE LEARN ABOUT ALL THE COUNTRIES IN THE
PROJECT AND PRACTICE OUR LANGUAGE SKILLS

ONE PARTNER BEGINS THE FIRST VERSE OF A SONG. EACH PARTNER ADDS A
VERSE TO THE SONG. THE CHORUS OF THE SONG WILL BE IN DIFFERENT
LANGUAGES.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – TO COLLABORATE WITH MUSIC AND PRACTICE OUR
LANGUAGE SKILLS
MONTH(S) THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DONE IN: MARCH AND APRIL
KARAOKE COMPETITION
EACH COUNTRY WILL SING 3 SONGS IN THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE, RECORD THEM ON
VIDEO AND FINALLY, THE PARTNERS WILL VOTE FOR THEIR FAVOURITE KARAOKE.
VOTING WILL BE DONE USING WWW.MENTI.COM.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE FUN SINGING AND WE WILL LEARN
THE MUSIC OF THE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.

STUDENTS CONNECT VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE IF WE CAN, DEPENDING ON
THE TIME DIFFERENCES.
STUDENTS MEET AND TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES.
STUDENTS TALK ABOUT A SPECIFIC TOPIC.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – SO STUDENTS CAN LEARN ABOUT THEIR

ESCAPE ROOM
TO FINISH THE COURSE, EACH SCHOOL WILL DECORATE ITS CLASS
OR ANY ROOM OF THE CENTER WITH DRAWINGS, FLAGS AND
CHARACTERS OF ALL THE PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES THUS CREATING
AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. NEXT, EACH SCHOOL MUST CREATE 5
QUESTIONS/REQUESTS THAT MUST BE RESOLVED DURING THE
GAME. IF ALL THE QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED OR THE REQUESTS
COMPLETED THEN THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ESCAPE FROM
THE ROOM THAT THEY’RE IN. IF THE TEACHER PUTS THE STUDENTS
IN GROUPS THEN THE FIRST TEAM OUT CAN WIN A PRIZE. AND WE
WILL DO IT WITH THE SAME ROTATION AS THE COMIC.
WHY DO THE ACTIVITY – TO SUMMARIZE WHAT STUDENTS HAVE
LEARNT IN AN INTERESTING AND UNIQUE WAY.
