I posted my newspaper advert to              and asked people to
   look at it and asked for their opinion, this is what they said;

‘I like your choice of contrasting images to convey the theme of 'Toys' and I like
     how the teddy bear and the toys are behind the girl whilst she's got the Xbox
     controller in her hand, it suggests that this documentary could be about how
     children nowadays only care about the latest tech games. And the expression
     on her face shows that she could be addicted, which I like, and makes me
     want to watch the documentary since I can relate.. However, I think the
     image outside the window could be replaced with a better background, like a
     playground or grass.’

‘It Looks very professional. The picture is effective and eye catching. And makes
    you want to watch the whole documentary.’

‘I think it is very creative and looks professional which would make me want to
    watch the documentary. I also like the contrast of the old toys and the new.’
By carrying out audience research and asking for their views on the
   newspaper advert for our documentary: ‘Batteries Not Included’.
   It has shown that the newspaper advert does stick to the codes
   and conventions, which is what we intended to do throughout
   production. The main image used was of a girl that was supposed
   to be concentrating on a game, by looking at the audience
   feedback this was achieved. The toys in the background were
   edited on Photoshop to make them look as if they were sad the
   girl wasn’t giving them attention and playing with them, one of
   the comments in the feedback said they liked the fact they were
   sad and behind the main image. They also go on to say that it
   looks professional and they would watch it if they saw the advert.
   this is what the newspaper advert was intended to do.
Radio Advert
I posted the Radio Advert to           and asked people to look at it and
   asked for their opinion, here are some of the things they said;

‘I like the way there is small cuts of different interviews integrated into it so that
     you get a feel for the kind of stuff going to be in the documentary. It would
     make me want too watch it’

‘It is clear what the documentary is about and it is useful how you have put the
     scheduling information in at the end. I like how you have used the same music
     that was in the documentary, linking them together.’

‘It’s really good, I like the format and content of the radio advert.’

By carrying out audience research and asking for their views on the radio advert it
   has shown that the radio advert stuck to the codes and conventions of radio
   trailers. One of the main things mentioned in the audience feedback was that
   there were clips used from the documentary and put onto the radio advert,
   which would make them want to watch the documentary more as a result of
   listening to the radio advert.

Documentary
I posted the Documentary to            and asked people to look at it and
   asked for their opinion, here are some things they said;

‘The music is relevant and the cutaways used are really creative, lots of different
   camera angles’

‘good coverage of different opinions and I liked the cutaways too. I would
   definitely watch the rest of the documentary.’

‘ The cutaways, interviews and voxpops are very effective. Very professional.
    Really liked the opening titles. Very interesting.’

‘I love how the opening titles it is really creative and the way you've used
     suitable cutaways throughout the documentary. And I really like the way
     you've used the same music throughout which is really relevant to the theme
     of your documentary. I cant think of any negative points.’

‘Its really good, there is a good variety of people being interviewed.’
By carrying out audience research and asking for their views on the first five
   minutes of our documentary it has shown that we have stuck to the codes and
   conventions properly. The first opinion of the documentary pointed out that
   the music was relevant as it was the main theme from toy story which is why
   we used it, also the different type of camera angles that were pointed out
   meant that it had stuck to the codes and conventions properly. The main
   things that were said were; ‘professional, interesting, creative and it would
   encourage them to watch the documentary’. Another point made was the
   variety of people interviewed; we did this because we wanted the
   documentary to appeal to more than one age.
