1. The feedback that I’ve received for my first question is
pretty positive , I’ve been told that my narrative was
good, and the characters were nicely developed into
something that could actually happen. And for
improvements I've been told that the first act is much
more busier than the rest of the film, something I
could do to improve this is make the other two acts
much more developed add more to them so they don't
seem rushed or not detailed enough.
Another thing that I’ve been told is that the movie’s
theme could be changed and made more about
“forced marriages”, but I can’t really change that
because my whole story is meant to be about family
issues and is mostly related to facing homophobia in
the 80s, so my main theme is LGBT issues so changing
the whole theme wouldn’t match with my initial idea.
But I could link the book and Miko one of the
characters in the movie, more prominently and making
it more detailed as what it is written in the book about
her.
2. For my second question, I’ve been told that that they
really liked my PowerPoint, that it was done well and
neatly,, and the like the creative part of it as well.
I received positive feedback for my sizzle reel, which
I've been told helped them understand and get a clear
idea of what was going on.
They liked that It talked about such important issues,
which is about two people of same sex loving each
other, and how different societies in different
countries react about this topic.
They liked my story, it was something heart felt and
something fresh to see, and for last the target
audience, they said it was explained very well so that
they could understand who exactly the movie is aimed
towards.
3. In overall, for this question I
got that all the people that
answered my survey, would
pretty much invest on this
movie
4. All the people that has answered
and completed my survey, they all
said yes, and that my pitch went
well
5. In overall, for this question I got
that all the people that answered
my survey think that the target
audience was done well.
6. For this question, everyone
has agreed that I’ve chosen
the right actors for my movie.
7. For this question, what people really enjoyed
about my pitch was the sizzle reel, they said that
it gave them a clear vision of he film to be
produced. Some liked the way the PowerPoint
was done, and the way I presented the outfits
that my characters would wear in the movie.
They liked that my story was different from
stories that you would see on tv, and they said
the way I presented and how I was enthusiastic
about why people would want to see it and hear
it. I got aid that I could get a lot of good reviews
if the film turned into a tv series.
And other enjoyed the story line, and the
concept that was developed.
