Letter to Students
 Dear Students,
 Students please be aware of the expectation when speaking to an adult.
Before addressing me with an eye roll, complaint, accusation, order,
redirection, or sarcastic comment, please check your tone. The tone I have
been addressed in these last few months has increasingly become more
disrespectful. I do not feel that students necessarily understand they are
being disrespectful, but it does need your attention. The tone I have been
addressed with regularly from all classes and most students have been
guilty of it, has been a tone that will get you in to trouble with professors
and bosses in your future.
 You are currently protected by the fact that I am your high school teacher
and there is no real world response I am able to respond with, nor can I
fire you. Disrespect to authority figures in your future will get you in
trouble. Begin practicing politeness now.Think through how you sound in
writing and in verbal address before hand. I do feel I give respect to each of
you, therefore deserve it and have earned it in return.
