Committee Reports:
Curriculum
Sarah Walter passed out a working calendar (as of 10-19-10) for the Spring semester. The dates
were gone over and some corrections made. It was suggested that we have no classes (except
drawing) during the school’s Spring Break (March 14-18). We all need to help fill in the open
times.
We still have lots of open class periods that need to be filled. Time is running short, so please
make your contacts and book those classes. Remember that we operate on a first come / first
serves basis….but we may still have to shift a few classes around to accommodate some of the
professor or speaker schedules. Put your thinking caps on…..come up with some new things.
Thanks for everyone’s assistance in this process. Call or email with any questions. Also
remember that I’ll need the Speaker Forms completed and returned to me ASAP….including a
couple of sentences for description.

Action Items
We are still looking for an Events Committee Chair. We may not be holding a Fall Fling this
year.
Comments
Cheryl thanked those who worked at the ALL table at Cy-Fest. She also mentioned her
appreciation to those who attended the working meeting on budget and events.
The college is going to be ordering a table cloth with the ALL logo. Cheryl will also look into
getting a portable microphone system to help those class members with a hearing impairment.
As it is difficult to read some of the members’ hand writing when they fill out the class
attendance sheets, we may be asking them to include their student ID number along with their
name. For those who do not bring their student ID’s with them, the class facilitator will need to
use the registration list at the back of the attendance book to fill those numbers in. This might
also require an update in the attendance form. Gene could mention this new procedure in the
ALL the News.

for Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:15 AM in MOD 2 – Room 101.
