3. This is a full sized picture of my school magazine front cover ;flat plan .Explaining briefly what I am going to include in my magazine such as the mast head , features , colours , strapline and more . These are just some outlines of the magazines. Flat plan is essential to construction a basic magazine which contains most of the magazines elements and to have a rough plan of what is to expected from your own magazine .
4. Logo/main image : this logo represents the Holy Trinity college in a whole but this can be also be used as a pug because its place on the right –hand corner and layout very large indeed . This logo is the original logo for this college I will be using that logo for my preliminary task . I have a notify this as a tag cause it comes into the a criteria of a tag as well as a pug .This word is positioned at top – right hand corner and also enables the readers to notice this quickly, for I have used the persuade word; ‘exclusive’. This word symbolises or conveys to the readers that this magazine is unique and there is only one of its type , this manipulates the reader to read the rest of the magazine . I would like uses Black font colour to format this tag and it would appear quiet bold to highlights its importance . The word, ‘sensational’, is used in this article to make this magazine more attractive and to also show the articles insight is more interesting that these brief outlines .This words might be exceptional good a article which not seen before .I will structure this in medium form , I would like to use font colour green and purple to be colour co-ordinate to rest of the magazine background and the related news . This is known as a caption ,because this is text under an logo/photograph explaining its image in a short sentence. This slogan saying Learn to love ;love to learn illustrates the school main agenda /aim. (font colour : black which links with the school logo and in bold ) Lead Story: The main story of major importance, within the issue. I selected this story as my lead story because it has a unique touch to it and also it persuades the reader to read more about trinity as it appeals to be one of the top and establishes how much priority the school gives to its dear students . Colours : black and blue . blue symbolises the school house colour and black used to represent its importance.
5. Mast head :Mast heads are the main title identify the institution titles in block /bold writings. This school magazines mast head is known as ,’I; Trinity & You . This mast head is related to our school’s name , this is by including the name trinity in it .By the size of the mast head people can easily recognize this is name given to this school magazine and how outstanding it is ,in comparison to rest of the subtitles / articles .I would like lay this tile in green ,blue , red and purple font colours and sized extremely large or the biggest writings on this magazine. I would like to class this as my secondary lead story because this strikes the reader straight after reading about the Trinity news ,for its layout below the lead story .This very persuasive for I have the word spotlight ,which is used in terms to reward someone for attending school regularly .This highlights how this school appreciates well – attendee's for their effort to educate themselves and to achieve their potential .In beginning of each words I have used capital blocks to emphasises it significant. I am interested to use the colours purple and red/green in this text /writing. I would consider to call this a ,‘splash’ but this not the main story apart from that all the rest features belongs to a splash element .This consist of a image , this can reverent to lead story because this school is known for it preference to students success. At the end I have also added, it they need further information they can open their website to grab more . The colours I prefer are purple and blue , because it is the school colours. These are known as straplines , but I have used strap lines on side to make this bit different to other school magazine .The straplines I have used just mentions this schools name. I will using school colours for my font colours . Background colour would be either pearly white or green. In this school magazine I am likely to use the colours green ,black ,red , blue and purple. 6. Mast head : Contents . Contents is like a menu meaning a list of articles /stories included in this issued magazine. Page number; indicating what page it is. This clarifies that this is a 2010 magazine and this is the first edition for this year ,that's why the year 2010 is enlarged . This is a image of the school logo , this used to indicate that all articles and features will related to school and its news . A logo of the arts college association this conveys to the reader that this school is specialise in artistic areas. All the articles has been listened according to their page numbers .In this contents page only selected articles/features has been classed to put on this page because these brief decryption of each articles ,gives the reader a slight insight of what is to be expected within that issue .This can be called as manipulating or persuasive technique either way it grabs the readers attention. This contents also offers a variety of range from summer school to fare well ;even to promotional offer to gain prizes as part of a competition . The colours I intend to use will be blue ,green ,purple , red and black .I am using multi-colour for two purposes to represent the house colour and to attract my target audience.
