2. The Human Development Index is an index
created for the program of human nations for
development, in order to determine the level
of development that each country has based
on established criteria and parameters.
3. This is intended to know the set of capabilities
that individuals have to choose between
alternative ways of life.
4. These three dimensions are the basis for the
geometrical measurements of the indices of:
education, health and income and the Three basic
dimensions for development are:
• The ability to enjoy a lasting and quality life
• The ability to acquire an education and knowledge
that allows the individual to develop
• The ability to acquire goods and the product for
the improvement of the quality of life

Measures the different distributions of the
income of each inhabitant of a country
On what scale is it measured?
It is measured between 0 and 1, and this scale
indicates how wealth is distributed among all
the inhabitants of a country

It is used to compare the different levels of
