Foundation to wear jeans EVERY FRIDAY, if you haven’t

volunteer, -pick up a application from Mr. Trice in the
Guidance Office.
Youth court volunteers will prosecute, defend and serve
as bailiffs and jurors in a real sentencing hearing of
juvenile offenders in Shelby County.

process of updating our records.
18. Club B.A.S.I.C. is having an interest meeting Tuesday
afternoon, Oct. 6 in the library. The meeting will start at
2:30pm and repeat at 3:30pm for the 8th hour students.
Club B.A.S.I.C. is open to 9th – 12th graders. If you are
looking to be a leader or looking to improve your future.
Club B.A.S.I.C. is the organization for you.
19. On this past Saturday, approximately a thousand students
auditioned for the prestigious West Tennessee Honors
Choir. – Congratulations:

20. The GIRLS SOCCER TEAM scored a stunning last minute
goal to Ridgeway and guarantee a winning record for
the season! Congratulations!

22. We have begun our “Trick or Treat so Kids can Eat” food
drive. Students please bring canned or dry food items to
your 5th period teacher throughout the month of October.
Teachers please send down your collected food items
with a student representative during lunch. Your grocery
bag will be returned to you. The winning class will receive
free admission to see the Monday performance of
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, on November 16.
23. The CAPA Drama Department is searching for a talented
artist to design their CAPA Drama T-Shirts. Any student
who is interested in submitting a design, please see Mr.
Hoy in room 234.
24. Teachers please make sure that your (Red) Emergency
Folder is updated, complete and placed in your
mailboxes. It is very important that the proper information
is placed in these folders, in case you are out. If you have
any questions, please see Dr. Chandler (500 Building
Office).
