1. PDHPE
as a Key Learning Area (KLA) is an
important subject for students to learn as
they will gain knowledge and skills required
for them to live healthy and fulfilling life.

2.  Through
PDHPE, the main thing students will learn
is how to lead a healthy lifestyle, through
appropriate decision making, forming positive
relationships and recognising the importance of
physical activity.

3. EVERYONE GETS ALONG
 Positive
relationships
are important for
everyone, and PDHPE
encourages students
to understand and
value themselves and
others. Through this,
they would develop
life skills and social
skills, which will
benefit them in the
future.

4. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY KEEPS
ME HEALTHY

Through enforcement of
physical activity at school, with
planned fun physical education
lessons, students are
encouraged to become active
when out of school. These
lessons are enjoyable to aid the
development of positive
attitudes towards physical
activity. This aspect is
important as children are spend
more time on technology than
playing outdoors nowadays.

5. 
Students learn about their personal growth and development,
and they learn to make and perform the correct decisions that
will benefit their own life in the long run. This includes
students learning the importance of sun safety, the risks of
tobacco and drugs and understanding that certain things are
safe and unsafe.

6. PDHPE TAUGHT ME A LOT


Making healthy decisions isn’t just about the
foods you eat (although that is important as
well), it is also about the choices you make in life,
the situations you put yourself in and how you
treat your own body. In PDHPE, we learn all
about these aspects, which are important in the
real world.
Remember, you are stuck
with your body for the rest
of your life. Treat it well!!
