It is one of the six key learning areas covered in the K-6 syllabus. * In order for a healthy lifestyle to occur it is essential that an individual learns the importance of healthy eating. Through healthy eating it will enhance an individuals wellbeing and improve their quality of life. *When individuals are well-informed about health issues they are able to make better decisions and are more likely to experience positive relationships. * PDHPE programs are important in the development of students knowledge, understanding and practical skills that ultimately lead to a better health. *Students learning is enhanced by an understanding that health is the responsibility of all parts of society.
