All About Apples This lesson is designed for children between ages 4 and 7 years of age. - We will use apple seeds to learn how plants grow in soil. - We will use 3 different types of apples to allow children to pick their favorite type of apple and tell why. - The students are allowed to taste 3 types of apples and break up into small groups and decide which apple their group liked the best.
3. All About Apples - We will read the story of Johnny Appleseed. The students will be his assistant for a day and must use the skill of estimating to guess the number of seeds they each have. - Students will be able to use painting skills to paint different color apples.- Students will be split into two teams to play a trivia game about the story of Johnny Appleseed.
