in A-STAR Bioinformatics Institute. Did collaborations work there with

Transferred to ETC with Dr Jeffery Hill, there I helped to set up new
laboratory. Did cloning and expression of AIF-SH2 (Apoptosis Inducing
Factor-Short version) and AIFM3 (mitochondrion associated) into expression
vector Pet21b and expressed in E. coli cell RGB-PlysS (Rosetta-gami B)

3. GSK August 2014 - Current
Currently working in GSK Vaccines as a Quality Assurance Executive in the Sterility Assurance group.
Involved in:
- Tracking Environmental Monitoring Trends for presentation in quarterly reviews.
- Handling various deviations in production with relations to environmental out of specifications
or aseptic related deviations.
- Oversight of Media Simulations in the isolator for operator and equipment re-qualification
- GAP analysis of various sterility related guidelines such as 6003-1 to 6003-4 series. (sterility,
environmental monitoring and aseptic simulations)
- Training and qualification of aseptic operators in the site
- Writing of rationale papers for Aseptic Media Simulations
- Various projects on site with relation to single use systems (Lynx Connectors, Single use bags)
Supervisory experience:
Currently designated as backup for team QA Lead. When Lead is absent, duties involve:
- Conducting Tier 1 meetings for SA technicians as well as representing the team in discussions
with other teams from production and quality control.
- Organizing team schedule and leading technicians in walk-downs of production areas for
sampling as well as during QA oversight.
- Tracking of Environmental monitoring frequency conducted by QA technicians as well as
ensuring all sampling is conducted on track.
- Handling any deviations pertaining to usage of expired agar, invalid sampling etc.
Oversight of Media simulations involves making critical decisions with regards to invalidating samples
or during spillages or leakage etc.
Currently the SA representative for 1 of 2 buildings in the site, able to make independent decisions with
regards to any matters involving Environmental or Sterility matters such as but not limited to:
- Shutdown cleaning frequency.
- Actions in the event of HVAC stoppage or pressure cascade.
- Out of action levels for biobuden found in CIP samples for various equipments such as SEC
columns, fermenters, fundabacs.
