Working as a research associate from 01/11/2011 to till date and Involved in
 Planning and conducting of acute toxicology studies as per the OECD guidelines.

blood perfusion in rats and immunological trials.

test items (Excision wound models in rat).

fish (Cyprinus Carpio) motility studies.
 Form ‘B’ protocols preparations for as per CPCSEA guidelines to the studies and involved in
the conducting of IAEC meeting.

Reproductive hormones like Follicle Stimulating hormone (FSH), Human Chorionic
gonadotrophin (Hcg) and Human Menopausal Gonadotrophin (HMG) by using different
Pharmacopieal guidelines (IP, BP & USP).
 Involved in the conductions of diabetic inducing studies (by using alloxan and STZ ), tissue
implantation studies in rats, pharmako kinetic studies in mice and rats.
 Formulations preparation and administration to the animals through different routs depending
upon the study requirements like, Subcutaneous, Intra Peritoneal, Intra Muscular, Intra venous,

 Collection of the blood samples from the animals like rat and mice through retro orbital and
from the rabbits through the ear vein.
 Involved in the conduction of Necropsy and collect the different organs of the rat, mice and
rabbit
 Preparation, revision and technical review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms
and other documents whenever required for Animal facility, trials and Drugs Testing
Laboratory studies.
 Laboratory animal’s care and management, Animal handling, animal identification, sample
collections, test items administration, maintenance of records, day-to-day work supervision.
 Planning and executing all activities in the Laboratory Animal Facility Department. Planning
studies/activities in the Department including study scheduling, study plan preparation and
approval.
 Coordinate with section heads/study personnel, Carry out function as a Study Director, Deputy
Study Director wherever required.
 Ensure prompt recording of raw data, Acknowledgement of amendments and deviations
during conduct of the study,
 Respond to QAU audit/inspection reports, Ensure archival of all material and reports
pertaining to the study, Communicate with QAU for the status of the study in timely fashion.
 Communication with Sponsors/clients regarding studies, laboratory and animal services,
Assisting Management, business development & project management team in cost estimation
for studies, laboratory and animal services.
