Project Description:
Ally Financial Inc., previously known as GMAC Inc., is a bank holding company headquartered in
Detroit, Michigan, United States at Tower 200 of the Renaissance Center. Ally Financial Inc. was founded in
1919 as the General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC), a provider of financing to automotive
customers. Since then, the business has expanded to include insurance, direct banking and commercial
finance.
Responsibilities
• Process Management: Providing End user/Application support through incidents, work orders (W.O)
and change request (C.R) in both pre-production and production environment.
• Monitoring: CPU, Memory and File System Storage utilization on UNIX servers using foglight
monitoring tool.
• Cross Functional teams: As per the user requirements we coordinate with multiple teams like
Database, Citrix, UNIX, Backup teams through service requests.
• Libraries: Creating SAS metadata libraries based on users’ request.
• Job Scheduling: Automation process for SAS/UNIX jobs on Tidal pre-prod/production environments.
• User Management: Adding and managing the user access.
• Tech Support: Working with Vendor Support teams when required.
