leading Insurance and Reinsurance giants. And pride to claim that major Reinsurance companies
recommend Hansa products to be deployed in place of non-scalable solutions. It also has research
and development team on Actuarial Science and Insurance Business background. The outcome is
“ReNova”, a first of its kind novel system for Reinsurance Administration. And now the R&D has

3.  Designing a product which can be installed by wizard method. This wizard includes
database and frontend application implementation and hosting.
 Workout on tool model product configuration for any type of Insurance business.
 Apart from core product implementation, migrating the existing database structures
accordingly the modification of core database which should not affect the existing
running product.
 Offsite production support and CR (Change in requirements) handlings for clients
(Kotak Life, SBI Life, and Delta Life).
• Database management for multiple clients.
 Playing a responsible role in driving database management for multiple client on
multiple stages in parallel by priority bases.
 Guiding developers and testers on handling DB in a progressive way by developing
a DB tool like PL/SQL which can extract create, alter, Insert, update, triggers,

and STAGING.
 By this tool 40% of DB role has been automated and increased the time on new

Database Developer (March 2014 - December 2014)
• DB migration from 10g to 11g and fine tuning
 My best appraisals from one of the client(Kotak Life) on the task of DB migration
from 10g to 11g which was not expected even by the client which was done before
the raise of requirement.
 This task was done on routine implementation of requirements and issue
handlings. (This is an example on handling the requirements for fetcher need).
 Ongoing proactive database-level performance tuning, with a good working
knowledge on application skeleton (Database). (A query that was taking 5.35 min
was tuned on fetching the same output in 12 sec, this was my favorite query which
was fine-tuned by me).
• Database development and migration of 22GB legacy data.
 DB migration was my best opportunity I got in Hansa to create my own identity and
also my first task given.

4.  I had worked at client site Dhaka, Bangladesh for client Delta Life. And was known
for my client handling on requirement gathering.
 Migration was done in multiple phases on parallel going system. For this I had
even designed a parallel DB on the client system in 2nd
normal form. Which was
completely handled by triggers and schedulers.
 Migrating a distributed database of client legacy data to a centralized database.
 Designed a centralized DB on fulfilling the client need and soft negotiation with
client on achieving the requirement in a different way.
 Delivering a very complex MIS reports on client requirement with a high
performances. (A MIS with 48 columns and 56 lines of query with 8 sec on
fetching time was one of the example of complex MIS Reports delivery).
• Automated housekeeping activities on databases.
 One of the major time killing roles of Database developer are “DB Housekeeping
Activities” that are taking DB Backup, Restoring lost master data, and DB
maintenance (Recreating Index’s and views etc.). This was identified at initial stage
of my travel with Hansa.
 I have automated this roles by windows scheduler. And now after automated this
roles the time of DBA was reduced by 45%.
 This was a big profit for management on conserving DBA resource time.
