Digital Text :E-Text is a electronic version of a written text. Digital Text can be
found on the internet or on your computer or on a variety of hand-held electronic
devices. For example: E- newspaper, E-books, Online textbooks etc.
3. Analogue Text
Analogue Text: Analogue text is the traditional style of publishing and supplying a
text. Usually these text are whitten and then printed out in publishing factories and
then customers buy or take them. For example : Newspaper, Books, Reports etc.
4. Analogue and Digital
Analogue and digital two different sections in media in which media products are
published. The word “Digital” means something that has to do with electronic
devices and the word “ Analogue” means something that is used as an alternative
of digital objects. Analogue devices or anything that has to do with analogue have
a simple way of working compared to digital devices. This is the reason behind the
wide range of analogue use instead of digital process like newspapers, books,
textbooks, handmade reports, letters etc. But nowadays digital devices or
processes are less complicated and easy to access and occur to normal people
like E-book, E-newspaper, Emails etc.

websites like KIssmanga, Crunchyroll etc. Digital comics commonly take the form of mobile comics.
Webcomics may also fall under the "digital comics" umbrella.With the growing use of smartphones,
tablets, and desktop screen reading, major publishers begun releasing comics, graphic novels and Manga
in digital formats.
6. E-Magazin: An online magazine is a magazine published on the Internet, through bulletin board
systems and other forms of public computer networks. Some online magazines distributed through the
World Wide Web call themselves webzines.An online magazine shares some features with a blog and
also with online newspapers, but can usually be distinguished by its approach to editorial control.
7. E- Newspaper: A digital newspaper is a digital version of a printed newspaper. Newspapers can be
digitally published online or as a digital copy on a digital device, such as a mobile phone or an E Ink
reader.
8. Newsletter:A newsletter is a printed report containing news (information) of the activities of a business
(legal name; subscription business model) or an organization (institutions, societies, associations) that is
sent by mail regularly to all its members, customers, employees or people, who are interested in.
Newsletters generally contain one main topic of interest to its recipients. E-newsletters are delivered
electronically via email.
9. Digital Instruction Manual: Nowadays instruction manual for different devices can
be found online which can be easily accessed through digital devices like mobile
phone, tab and laptops etc.

Mobile Phone: Mobile phones are used to access almost every digital texts.
Advanced phones like Iphones, Galaxy etc are programmed to access further
digital text publishing sites.
11. Tablet or ipad: Tablet and ipads can be used to access digital publishing sites.
The benefits of using a tab or ipad is that they are portable. The screen is bigger
than a phone so it is easy to read.
12. Laptop: Laptop is also a device with which we can easily access to any kind of
digitally published text. It is also portable but not as comfortable as phone, tab or
ipad. But nowadays laptops come of different shapes and sizes, some which are
actually small in size with advanced features to access into the digital publishing
sites.

There are lots of advantages of using digital texts. First of all it is easily
accessible. Some of them are free. Don’t have to wait for another day for the latest
news. Usually the E-newspapers are updated constantly or many times a day. So
it gives us newses of anything big that has happened instantly. Also the devices
that are used to access these texts are everyday devices that we use for work,
studies or communication. These devices are easily portable and getting
advanced day by day. Also they cost less. It’s easier to access into a E-
newspaper site than by one everyday.

15. Disadvantages of using digital texts:
A laptop, tab or ipad costs more. Better the quality , the more the price.
Some people might not know how to access into the websites. IT takes a lot of
time learn all the softwares used or how to access.
Devices might not have enough space for all the books we want.The device can
break down or sme problem might cause all the memory get destroyed.
Some of the things we need might not be available online.
