 They planted crops. They grew
beans, squash , corn, melons
,watermelons, and pumpkins.
The Waco Indians ate
crops,meat.
 They wore tanned
hides. The men wore
shirts, loin cloth, and
leggings. Women
wore dresses from
their ankles to their
chins. And they both
wore moccasins.
Women decorated
their dresses with elk
teeth.
 They traded dried
corn ,dried
pumpkins, arrow
heads, and buffalo
robes. They used
items as money
instead of coins
 They now live in
Oklahoma. The
languages they speak
are
English, Caddo, and
Wichita. The
population of the tribe
is 2,564 .
 They lived next to the
Brazos river in Waco.
 They lived in grass
houses sometimes
covered with buffalo
hides.
