4. Homes The Iroquois’s home was called a long-house. A longhouse had no windows and there was a door at each end. Lots of families lived in one. longhouses This is the inside of a longhouse. Iroquois homes did not look like this.
5. Clothes The women and girls wore blouses, dresses, and long skirts, but sometimes they wore leggings. Men and boys wore short skirts, also leggings or loincloths. They also wore feathers and mohawks or long ponytails.
6. Food These foods are some foods that the Iroquois ate. They ate elk, beans, squash ,corn, wild strawberries, rabbits, turkeys, geese and pigeons.
7. Ceremonies This is a false face mask! It is SCARY!! The ceremonies they had were the Strawberry Ceremony and the Midwinter Festival, and they still celebrate these festivals every year.
