My magazine represents an age group of around 15-25 (teenagers/young adults) this
is because my target audience is within this age category 15-25 and so my
magazine needed to suit a younger demographic.
My magazine portrays age through photos, language as well as articles that a young
demographic would be most interested in.

4. ETHNIC MINORITY GROUPS
My magazine is not aimed at any ethnic minority groups instead it is open to people
from all cultures and backgrounds and is not culture biased . Many cultures would
be able to read the magazine as it features artists from around the world as well as
the use of language (suited for English speakers).
SEXUALITY
My magazine is non-biased towards any sexuality and is generally aimed at people of
all sexual orientations.
5. CLASS & STATUS
My magazine is aimed at a lower/upper middle class who have this exposable income
to spend on media products such as my music magazine, B-SIDE.
Middle class is represented from the vocabulary choice as the price and
professionalism of the magazine being suited to this class. On top of this class and
status is also shown through the mise en scene as this shows people in everyday
clothes as well as the props such as a guitar and the rural background of
countryside as well as the simplistic plain backgrounds all represent class and
status.

My magazine is aimed at both genders as my target audience for my magazine is both
male and females.
Females are represented through the use of the images and the artists used in the
magazine and likewise males are represented through some of the artists and the
pictures appeal to them because they are of an attractive female singer.
