4. Tumblr is the website that I
decided to use for my blog.
This is because I have used
Tumblr for a long time and
feel like I know this
blogging websites the best
and was able to do more
functions with it.
I used facebook to get people to
fill in my questionnaires. By
posting the link of my facebook
a lot of peers were able to fill it
in for me.
I used both Microsoft Word and
PowerPoint to present all the data
that I found. I find that these are two
of the easiest programs to use when
trying to present.
I used slide share as a way to put my
slideshows on to the internet. I
uploaded them and then I had to
embed them into my blog.
I used IMDB to research other
documentaries.
I used survey monkey
as an online
questionnaire. This is
because it is easier for
people to quickly
answer a questionnaire
online, it is also easier
to collect data this well.
6. I used Google drive was
a way to put my word
documents onto my
blog. This gives you all
the information but
doesn’t clog up my blog
with text.
I used YouTube to
upload my videos
because it is the biggest
video sharing site on the
web.
I used a scanner to scan
all of my storyboards in.
This gives a better higher
quality image, rather
than taking a picture of
the sheets of paper.
I edited all of my pre
production videos with
iMovie. This is because I
didn’t need to do any
fancy editing, I just
needed to cut one video
into several.
This is the email system
that my school uses so it
was the email software
that I used to contact the
people in my
documentary.
I used my canon camera
to film everything
involved with my
documentary. This is
because I wanted it to be
a high quality
production, and I believe
that it gives off a
professional look.
7. Other tasks
I used Photoshop to
create the newspaper
advert that I used to
advertise the
documentary.
I used Audacity to create
the radio trailer that I
used to promote the
documentary.
9. I used final cut express to cut
together all of my cuts of the
documentary. This is because
it is a more advanced editing
software. I was able to cut
together clips, speed up clips,
change the colour and add
text over the top.
I used vimeo to upload my
rough cuts, I did this because
I wanted a wider range of
video sharing sites.
I used a tripod in my piece to
make sure my footage was
stable and professional.
11. Prezi is a website that
creates presentations. I
used this site for a way to
present my work which was
a bit different and more
interesting to look at.
