2. I will be using my Dell laptop to carry out quite a lot of my research and
planning, as it is my own so is easily accessible to me at home. I will make
quite a lot of notes of my laptop due to the fact that it is much simpler to
use than the Macs at school in terms of note making! Whenever I listen to
music at home I tend to play it through YouTube so I can watch the video
at the same time, in order to gain inspiration and ideas for our own music
video.
I will also be using the school Macs to be carrying out research during
lesson time and free periods. In addition to this, the Macs are going to be
used for the editing process of our music video due to the fact that are
more high-tech and will have more advance editing settings than my own
laptop.

3. We will be using the school Macs to edit our music video as they now
have Final Cut Pro X installed on them; one of the top editing softwares.
This means that the editing of our music video is going to be very precise
and effective, giving a much more professional look to it. As well as this I
am going to be using Microsoft Word to create notes and storyboards or
scripts, as it is easier to edit and change Word processed documents than
handwritten ones. This will prove handy as we have so many ideas and
keep tweaking them!

4. I find Google the most efficient search engine to use, it is quick and
simple. I will be using Google for the majority of my secondary research
because I can find out information quickly and easily without any struggle.
I have been using Google for the research I have completed so far and
will continue to do so. If I am using a school Mac for research then I will still
use this search engine.
The most obvious of all technology I will probably mention is Blogger. The
place where I keep my blog and research, and later on my planning and
constructing of our music video. Blogger is accessible on both my laptop
and the school Macs, if I want to update my blog when I don’t have
access to either of these, then I have Blogger installed on my phone so I
can update my blog through that.

5. Slideshare is a website which I have been using to create presentations for
my blog. It is a simple and easy website to use because I can directly
embed the presentation into a post on my blog, which can then be
viewed via my blog or on the website itself. It is a programme which I think
I will continue to use because I can use PowerPoint easily and transfer
them to the website to put on my blog.

6. A Samsung Camcorder is going to be used to carry out all of the filming
for our music video; it has a fairly good battery life so will last a decent
amount of time to ensure filming is carried out and it is quite good quality
which means that when uploaded to the Macs, the filming will still have a
clear picture.
