2. Using the gradient tool to create a background. After cropping an image of the
performer the image was duplicated and the image hue was changed to create the
effect. The text was added in white to make it stand out from the other things on
the front cover and for emphasis as stroke was added.

This front cover idea included a collage of the album title in various fonts and
sizes with the artist’s name printed on top of the other text to make it stand
out.

was a representation of the
album name ‘True colours’ as
the artist seems to be bringing
colour to his surrounding that
have been captured with a
grey scale effect.

This front cover idea takes a more abstract approach to the album title due to the
fact that it uses the rainbow effect to portray colours.
