My family has always been very religious. Ever since I can remember I've gone to church on
Sundays. It has become a part of my routine in my daily life. Since I am strong in my faith, it is safe
to say I have a solid moral code. A fundamental part of my future is marriage. I believe in the holy
sacrament of matrimony and all the sacred principles that go along with it such as waiting until
marriage and not living together before marriage. Now being a religious teenager in a very secular
society, it is sometimes hard to agree with what may seem the norm. One aspect of society that has
emerged as standard is cohabitation before marriage. Cohabitation is a living arrangement in which
an unmarried couple lives together in a long–term relationship that resembles a marriage. It has
become quite the phenomenon. From 2005–2009, 66% of marriages formed suggested that
cohabitation is now clearly the norm as part of the pathway to marriage (Guzzo). Personally,

When I think of protesting, I think of activists who want to make and see a change being made on a
specific social issue. In regards to the "right" way to protest, I believe that less is more and simply
getting together in a civilized matter is much more effective than causing chaos in the streets.
Everybody handles things differently and some might find that being lawful is not the way to protest
but in my point of view, I believe that risking you life or breaking the law is definitely not the way
to get your voice heard clearly.

a loud clunk as a pair of large double doors opens in front of them. The boy then leads Selison

had no signs or buttons, and I could feel the rapid descent downward that pulled on my entire body;

"I can't say I have," the old man mumbled. "Let me explain to you the situation that you have been
placed in. I can't tell you where this place is, but what I can tell you is that if you want to exit this
place, you will have to play a game, and you will risk your life during said game," explained the
bartender. My face didn't show it, but my heart pounded like crazy. I immediately ran back through
the hallway towards the elevator. Yet, it didn't open. I tried looking for other doors. They didn't open

I liked the movie so much that It is in my top 5 favorite movies. One of my reasons is because, is
one of the first movie, that African Americans are being treated the right way. My other reason is
that I like how they show that women are smart and they can do what men can do in NASA. One of

The following are recent examples where the Federal Government have ultimately failed to provide
adequate protection in relation to human rights:
– Asylum seekers – including children – have been detained in immigration detention centres
indefinitely and for prolonged periods of time
– Illegal detention or deportation of Australian citizens
– The introduction of harsh anti–terrorism laws which have infringed fundamental human rights,
enacted in the absence of sufficient consideration as to their ramifications.
If civil procedure provided an effective means whereby citizen were afford adequate protection of
their human rights, Australia would not be continually subjected to international criticism and
scrutiny. The introduction of a Bill of Rights in Australia would ultimately help to improve the
quality and accountability of government, not to mention the process in and outside the courtroom,
administrative law decisions, and the efficiency of legislative bodies. This would assist in providing
