Marriage Is Not The Right Way
My family has always been very religious. Ever since I can remember I've gone to church on
Sundays. It has become a part of my routine in my daily life. Since I am strong in my faith, it is safe
to say I have a solid moral code. A fundamental part of my future is marriage. I believe in the holy
sacrament of matrimony and all the sacred principles that go along with it such as waiting until
marriage and not living together before marriage. Now being a religious teenager in a very secular
society, it is sometimes hard to agree with what may seem the norm. One aspect of society that has
emerged as standard is cohabitation before marriage. Cohabitation is a living arrangement in which
an unmarried couple lives together in a long–term relationship that resembles a marriage. It has
become quite the phenomenon. From 2005–2009, 66% of marriages formed suggested that
cohabitation is now clearly the norm as part of the pathway to marriage (Guzzo). Personally,
cohabitation before marriage is not the right way to go because it is not as economically or socially
beneficial. As earlier stated that it has become institutionalized for couples to live together before
marriage, some don't actually lead to marriage. They can possibly be the first union between
partners. According to Arland Thornton, a sociologist professor at the University of Michigan,
William G. Axinn, a social demographer at the University of Michigan, and Yu Xie, a leading
American sociologist, it is legally more

Right Way To Protest Essay
When I think of protesting, I think of activists who want to make and see a change being made on a
specific social issue. In regards to the "right" way to protest, I believe that less is more and simply
getting together in a civilized matter is much more effective than causing chaos in the streets.
Everybody handles things differently and some might find that being lawful is not the way to protest
but in my point of view, I believe that risking you life or breaking the law is definitely not the way
to get your voice heard clearly.
In regards to protesting that blocks a freeway, I do not believe that it is a legitimate form of
protesting. The reason being that 1) even though our First Amendment right protects freedom of
speech, it is against the law to disobey traffic laws. 2) There must be enough space on the sidewalk
or freeway entrance to allow the safe movement of traffic without putting the protester or ... Show

This form of protest focuses on disrupting the peace and damaging property, whether it be personal
or government belongings. Vandalism, such as graffiti, is an act of public disturbance caused by a
social activists who wants to generate awareness of issues and to influence people's thoughts. I
believe that this is not a form of protest because it does not bring awareness to an issue but instead
causes more chaos to the individuals involved. When someone damages someone else's property, it
is extremely violating and eventually will make that particular social group look bad. If you are
vandalizing property on behalf of a movement or campaign, then you are therefore a representation
of what your group believes in. For example, when someone riots and vandalizes someone's
property because they are angry is against the law and overall it just puts the person doing the
criminal act back a couple of steps in spreading their message

Right Of Way Means
right of way – a right enjoyed by one person (either for himself or as a member of the public) to pass
over another's land subject to such restrictions and conditions as are specified in the grant or
sanctioned by custom, by virtue of which the right exists.
A right of way – sometimes called an easement – can be created by long–time use under statute or
common law. A right of way is nothing more than the right enjoyed by the owner of one piece of
land over the land of another. ... Like other easements, a right of way runs and stays with the land
and is not in any way personal.
If a neighbour has a right of way across land it means that person can pass over that piece of land
freely. This right of way does not continue when the land is transferred

Virtue Ethics: Doing The Right Way Of Life
Life happens quickly there is rarely any time to doubt and or reflect upon your moral obligations
and responsibilities. Many opportunities in life are hard to come by and don't last forever, life is time
sensitive and as humans we must act upon that which we wish to achieve before it passes us by.
Virtue ethics defines morality in a way that matches the pace of humanity by calling for morally
correct behavior out of ritual, or habit, making the individual moral, and not his or her decisions the
source of morality. A practical moral guide is virtue ethics because; it is a guide of habit, a way of
life. In virtue ethics there is a focus on doing the right thing for the right: reasons, emotions, and
with the right demeanor. Not only does it asks for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example a gift given begrudgingly, could be considered not a gift at all. There is an expectancy
to act and react to life with moral correctness, without any debating or deep thought upon the
decision. To consider each layer of your action could take great efforts, habituation (or ritual) allows
this process to come almost instinctively, which in turn allows us to naturally go about our lives
without having to set aside unavailable time for reflection upon each decision. Confucius refers to
this immediate response with morality as "hot cognition", the ability to reflexively react. Hot
cognition, or virtue ethics, can be directly compared to principle ethics and their use of cold
cognition, reflection upon each decision with reasoning. In principle ethics in order to achieve
morality, it requires one to consider each decision carefully through a certain code, or algorithm.
Each code or algorithm further more requires the consideration of each person and how your
decision affects them. While some principle ethic philosophers, such as Mill, would argue that
principle ethics draw upon our natural tendencies; there

Fighting is not always the right way to go, and you should pick and choose your battles because, you
are not going to win every fight, and there is always going to be someone bigger and better than
you, but Malcolm X proved that sometimes it is ok fighting for what you believe is right. He fought
for what he believed in, and that was full freedom and equal rights for African Americans. Malcolm
X went from humiliation to admiration for fighting for what he believed was right to him. Malcolm

Disney Gets It Right : Moana The Way Finder
Disney Gets It Right: Moana the Way–finder
"If you reduced the Disney films [to a phrase] it would be 'Once Upon a Time,'" said Glen Keane...
once upon a time. Disney has a habit of portraying petite princesses who sit around with no real
purpose except to wait for Prince Charming to come along and rescue them from their everlasting
slumber. This is certainly not the case for Disney's latest hit, Moana (2016). This "Disney Princess"
is no princess; Moana does not seek to live happily ever after in a huge castle with any Prince
Charming. Moana's (2016) deviation from typical, "princess" life is what sets it apart from
mainstream Disney expectations. However, Disney does exceed in delivering its most iconic
expectations in this blockbuster. Moana's (2016) genre, age appropriateness, animation quality, and
plot, all prove that Disney has succeeded in producing yet another exceptional classic.
Moana (2016) is an adventure–packed film in every sense of the word; although it does have some
humorous scenes. For example, in one scene Maui, Moana's demi–god companion, uses Moana's
dumbfounded pet chicken, HeiHei, to carve his name on her oar while explaining, "When you use a
bird to write with it's called tweeting" (Lasseter, J. & Shurer, O., Clements, R., Hall, D., Musker, J.,
& Williams, C., 2016). However, the small bouts of comedy do not compare to the amount of
adventure Maui and Moana encounter throughout their voyage. Scenes ranging from Maui stealing

Unions Are A Most Effective Way Of Protecting Worker's Rights
2. Do you agree that unions are a most effective way of protecting worker's rights? Should U.S.
labor law be changed to be more in line with international labor codes?
Answer: Yes, I agree that solidarity campaigns in support of workers and/or unions are an effective
way of protecting worker's rights. Without the formation of unions such as the United Farm Workers
founded by Chavez and Huerta in 1962, vulnerable workers would have no defense against the
systemic exploitation and violations against their rights as workers and as human beings (Brubaker,
2007, p. 96). Exposed by the Human Rights Watch (HRW), is the fact that agricultural work in the

Also, after a request for better working conditions in Bangladesh were denied, ten workers leading

the Jordanian Free Trade Agreement, we ended up with people of Bangladesh working 120 hours a
week, turning Chinese cloth into apparel designed for the U.S. market, which enters the U.S. duty

workers' rights, therefore, the creators of these laws need to recognize the need for reform in the
laws affecting workers of the world (Brubaker, 2007, p. 106).
3. Does the idea of community–supported agriculture appeal to you? What would it take to make
something like this happen in your community?
Answer: Yes! I love the idea of community–supported agriculture for several reasons. In the first
place, the goals identified, such as "mutually beneficial relationships with a community of
consumers, environmentally sustainable farming practices, and public education on contemporary
agricultural issues makes sense to me. Also, the high quality, locally grown produce is more
available and affordable, and even reduces the negative environmental impacts caused by
conventional production and distribution systems. Those who cannot afford to buy adequate food
are incorporated into the planning of the distribution of the crops, and since diet can be a risk

The Right Way To Rock The Boat Analysis
Nando Pelusi's article, "The Right Way to Rock the Boat", is an informative/explanatory essay that
tells us why we, as a society, are filled with timidness and why we should overcome this. Timidness
runs in our society because are ancestors, for so long, were afraid that having conflicts with people
could cause them to be murdered. Pelusi was saying that this way of existing has existed for so long
that it has become the norm. This new norm has also caused us to think so highly of other people's
opinions, thus limiting our desire to express ourselves. The goal of this essay is to get people to
understand that assertiveness is okay and should not be shunned, as it is a necessity in today's
environment. First in the article is Charles Darwin's predicament, anxiety. The naturalist famous for
his works in natural selection was, as the author puts it, "...close to being remembered as a
footnote.." because he feared criticism, like most people today. Furthermore, the author refers to this
hyperconsciousness as merely a human adaptation. Despite this, Darwin eventually published his
findings when he discovered that someone else was close to his discoveries. This shows exactly why
assertiveness is necessary, especially if it's ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pelusi refers to a typical social encounter as a "...subtle dance of dominance and submission." What
is being said here is that when two or more people interact with one another, there will always be a
person leading, and a person following. In addition, when performing one of these dances,
assertiveness is the way to go if you are looking to take the lead and get what you want out of the
situation. You may be taking a chance when choosing the assertive route, but it's a matter of
furthering yourself, not just existing. Unfortunately, most people don't realize the freedom and
chances they have

Are we teaching the right things, to the right people, in...
Education, we hear that word quite frequently but what does it mean? Miriam Webster's Dictionary
defines education as "the knowledge and development resulting from an educational process".
Everyone needs some education to be a success in life. The amount and types of education can vary
but we all need the basics of reading, writing and math to be successful in life, and to be
professional in the workplace. I see education as a step to success in the future. Education ideally
results in effective communication, and a successful professional life. We have alternate ways of
learning, and new things to learn as a result of technology. We must be educated to communicate in
a professional way. Mr. Kohn states in the article that his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

are alternative ways to learn traditional basics. Taking chemistry can sound dull and unappealing,
however, taking "food science" and earning the chemistry credit sounds more interesting. Colorado
public high schools have several alternative ways to earn credits for traditional subjects. In my high
school years, I took two. I took Food Science 1 and 2 instead of Chemistry, and I took Business
Math instead of Trigonometry. For me, these were classes that taught me chemistry and math in a
way that made sense, and seemed applicable to my life. I think that schools should offer more of
these alternative classes. They keep things a little more interesting for students while still teaching
us things we needed to learn. Making lemon meringue pie to learn about acids and bases seems like
a stretch at first consideration, but to someone who struggles with science, it can serve as a perfect
object lesson. Learning to calculate markups and discounts in Business Math seemed more like

High School Experience : The Right, Way Of Living
For the majority of my life, I had lived the way they referred to as "the right" way of living. I did as
I was told and dressed how they would have preferred me to. I had also done well in school since
the idea of being successful had always been engraved in my head. As a teenager, I never had the
opportunity to experience what countless men and women would refer to as "high school
experience" since I excessively worried about my grades and any possible way I could improve
them. Subsequently, I completely disregarded the thought of gaining experience in which resulted in
having no recollection of memories in which I can truly value. Therefore, what exactly have I been
doing with my life? Absolutely nothing. I had the same routine for six years; wake up, get dressed,
go to school, eat lunch, study for several hours and then go to sleep. I lived a monotonous life in
which I felt had no meaning. As a result, of the establishment engraved in my head at such a young
age, I had forgotten all it is that life has to offer. That life is limited and how important it is to "live
in the moment" which can be demonstrated by the moments I've missed, the moments I've had, and
those I long to experience. It was around middle of my high school year when I first heard the
following quote by George Harrison, "It 's being here now that 's important. There 's no past and
there 's no future...All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can 't

In this case, Mr. Brandt had filed a lawsuit against the Federal Government for "the right–of–way
crossing" his land had extinguished after the cessation of the railroad activity in the corridor. The
Government had argued that this right was created by the Federal General Railroad Right–of–Way
Act of 1875 and should be valid on the gounds that the railroad line was affirmed to be abandoned.
While reviewing this case, it must be determined whether or not that the Government, under this

furniture can be scratched. If household furniture and items are not loaded efficiently, significant
space can be left unused, necessitating additional moving trips, or discarding some home items that
will need to be replaced later. Worst of all, accidents can occur because of faulty weight distribution.

paper padding, or plastic stretch wrap. Use packing tape and plastic wrapping to fasten the paper

Many types of furniture travel better if they are dismantled. Bed frames, head and foot boards,

Table legs and bed rails can be rolled in carpets and easily transported. Shelves should be removed

Change Management
The need to quickly implement far–reaching and often complex strategic change has led many
managers and change agents to search for simple solutions and the one right way.... The appealing
aspect of the promise held out for these types of change technologies is that they can absolve the
manager from the onerous task of critically reviewing the full range of other competing approaches
or devising a custom–made change program. They cut through complexity. However the offer is
often illusory, for particular change approaches usually apply to particular situations, and simple
solutions sometimes ignore the complexities of real life. (Stace and Dunphy, 2001, p 5)

Andriopoulos & Dawson (2009) agree that in the case of organisational change, there remains
considerable debate over the speed, direction and effects of change and on the most appropriate
methods and concepts for understanding and explaining change. Kanter, Stein & Jick (1992) found
that it would be very difficult for a single solution or approach to meet all the types of changes
required and to take into account all of the required aspects as organisations are fluid entities.
In an attempt to provide a more broad solution, Stace & Dunphy (2001) proposed a situational
approach or framework for change. They argued that there is no single path to successful change
implementation that holds true in all situations. This framework however has been criticised by
Andriopoulos & Dawson (2009) for neglecting the role of organisational politics and the internal
power relationships within organisations as shapers of the organisational change process.
Pettigrew (1985) presented a holistic, contextual analysis approach providing a multi–level approach
to encapsulate the complexities of change management. Pettigrew argued that strategic change is a
continuous process with no clear beginning or end point. However, Buchanan and Boddy (1992)
argued that the richness and complexity of the multi–level analysis presented by Pettigrew, while
comprehensive, it did little to simplify or clarify the processes of change and

Is Content Marketing The Right Way?
Goal: to post a guide on how to properly do content marketing

Title: ?Are You Doing Content Marketing The Right Way??
First off, what is content marketing?
Essentially, content marketing is the successor to the dying practice of traditional marketing.
Traditional marketing was the go–to marketing strategy of the pre–Information Age world.
Traditional marketing included radio ads, magazine ads, and television commercials, all of which
can now be fast–forwarded (thanks to DVR), ?skipped? with just a click of a button, or just simply

First, and most importantly, there is social media marketing, which is a marketing strategy designed
specifically for all kinds of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, which see
the most online traffic and have the highest potential to stay updated on what consumers need and
want, reach out to a large consumer base, and, of course, bring in a huge profit. Next is search
engine optimization, or SEO, which means that popular search engines like Google reward
businesses that publish high–quality and consistent content by placing information about their
products, brand, and services or links to their websites higher on search engine results pages,
making it more likely for potential consumers to see, click on, and learn about them instead of their
competitors. The next is public relations, or PR. In the world of content marketing, successful PR
strategies are the ones that address the issues that consumers care about instead of the issues that the
business cares about. After all, since content marketing is basically all about ?the art of
communicating with you customers and prospects without selling?, in order to succeed, and gain
and retain consumers, businesses need to care about the consumers, not about the business itself per
se. The next big content marketing strategy is ?pay–per–click?, or PPC, which is a model of

Cause and Effect Essay – The Right Of Way
In the state of Washington, pedestrians have always had the right of way. However, the recent
enforcement of this law is causing traffic problems citywide. Traffic tends to come to a screeching
halt without any warning. I was driving North on Nevada Street in Spokane, three of four lanes of
traffic had stopped to allow a man and a young child to cross the street, the fourth lane of traffic had
not stopped. Finally a car in that fourth lane of traffic stopped, causing the car behind it to slam on
the brakes, literally coming to a screeching halt. Had the man and child started across the street and
the screeching car not been able to stop, it would have hit the already stopped ... Show more content

The Washington Administrative Code (WAC 132G–116–090) states: "Pedestrians –– Right of way.
(1) The operator of a vehicle shall yield the right of way, slowing down or stopping, if need be, to so
yield to any pedestrian crossing any street, roadway, fire lane, or pathway with or without a marked
crosswalk." When a car has to stop for these pedestrians to cross, it can cause traffic problems. On
the other hand, Spokane City Municipal Code 16.61.240 states: Every pedestrian crossing a roadway
at any point other than within a marked crosswalk or within an unmarked crosswalk at an
intersection shall yield the right of way to all vehicles upon the roadway.
Local law enforcement has stepped up their efforts to enforce the pedestrian crossing law. Recently
the Spokane County Sheriff's Department set up a traffic sting near Whitworth College; several
officers dressing in plain clothes posed as pedestrians crossing Hawthorne Road. The Whitworthian,
the campus newspaper, reported
Sophomore Meagan Schwartz slowed her car down when she saw a man step into the road at the
crosswalk. She saw that the man wasn't in a hurry to cross the street and assumed she was a safe
distance away, so she continued driving. Moments later, she was pulled to the side of the road by a
police officer on a motorcycle.
The result was a seventy–one dollar ticket for the

A Short Story : The Story Of Selison
"Of course, right this way," the boy says grabbing Selison's arm. They walk down a hallway to the
right of the room. After a short walk, the boy stops. Before Selison can ask anything, however, he
hears a high pitched beep of the boy swiping a key card over a sensor on the wall. After that there is
a loud clunk as a pair of large double doors opens in front of them. The boy then leads Selison
through the doorway where the shuffling of feet and hurried breathing can be heard. Many different
people mover around and talk to one another as they make the last preparations for Selison. The
floor is likely to be either a hardwood or tile based on how it feels and sounds when Selison steps on
it. Every now and then, the boy prompts Selison to 'watch out for wires on the ground' from various
lights or electronics. Soon, Selison feels a refreshing breeze and hears a soft buzzing of a fan nearby.
As he gets farther and farther into the room, Selison can't help but feel and hear the workers lull. His
new power allows him to feel them staring at him, and he can feel their awe, as well as their
apprehension and fear. He can feel all of their emotion without needing to look at them.
"Here is your seat sir." The young man holds Selison's arm out so he can feel a chair. As he runs his
hands over the material he finds that it is large and made of leather with ample cushion all around.
He walks around to the front of it and sits down causing him to sink slightly into the lavish chair.

Is Abortion The Right Way?
Is Abortion the Right Way to Go?
Is abortion good? Is it bad? Abortion is seen different for a lot of people, because everyone has
different opinions. In 1973, U.S. Supreme Court held Roe V. Wade said " protected women's rights."
The Supreme Court later found out that Roe V. Wade was wrong. It does count that abortion is a
women's right ,but it's also the child's right to stay alive. In 2013, 22 states passed abortion but 70
other countries restricted abortion. More and more people are actually just now figuring out or
learning about how abortion actually works. When did abortion began? Abortion began in the 1800s
to the 1900s, abortion is when you get pregnant and you want to sacrifice the baby's life so you can
be happy. I believe that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Abortion should be illegal, there 's always a better option that you can choose.
Another reason is women have more health and psychological problems. According to Women 's
Health Center, and Human Life Review, women and teens have more mental health problems and
psychological problems. They also said "Studies of many kinds have been done." In 2001 a study
was published a research that proved women have more health problems, 41,089 women matched a
group of 39,220 women without abortion. They also said "psychological problems come more on
the mother after abortion." Abortion causes over–all 165% higher rate of hospitalization for
psychiatric problems because of women who have had abortions, and women break down more after
abortion.
Abortion is not okay in God's eyes. In the Bible it says in the Ten Commandments "you shall not
kill." You are basically killing one of God's innocent child, he never said killing was okay. If you are
having an abortion or going to have an abortion or have already had one you need to stop having
abortions. In the Bible God says "You shall not kill", you are killing one of God's beautiful
creations. This means that abortion is basically disobeying God's rules, and you will be punished for
killing an innocent person. Abortion causes you to turn against God's rules, and disobey him, and I
believe that by disobeying God is the worst thing you could do in life.

Body Cameras On The Right Way
Do you think cops do their job the right way? Do you think cops could do their job better? In recent
years more and more police brutalities have occurred from the death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford,
FL on 2012 to the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO on 2014. Many people now do not
respect or trust the cops anymore because of the way that cops have been doing their job. What is
one way that the cops can gain the respect of the people again. What is one tool that could help
capture what a cop does on duty. Body cameras on cops should be enforced in America because the

They can help make sure that any information given from the officers is correct and not incorrect.
They can get the full truth in a report given by an officer. With body cameras you can compare the
report to the video footage. Body cameras are a very useful tool in the world today.
Evidence is very important in a case. So what is the best way to get true evidence? Body cams can
help find the evidence that is needed for a case. This way evidence can always be 100% correct.
Andy Hoover said "Video provided critical evidence in the Hummelstown case and in the shooting
death of Walter Scott in North Charleston, S.C., in which officer Michael Slager has been charged
with homicide.". This is proof of the positive effect that body cameras have on the community. If
body cameras were not used in this case, the officer could have not be charged with nothing.
Evidence is very helpful when it is correct. "Captain De Anda says the footage has been useful as
evidence during prosecution, and that the presence of the cameras seems to serve as a check on
inappropriate behavior by both police and citizens. In addition, he says, it 's already served as a
protection for officers accused of excessive force." says Amanda Paulson who lives in Ferguson
where the death of Michael Brown occurred.

Greed Is All Right, By The Way
To an audience of students at the University California, Berkley, Ivan Boesky at once stated, "Greed
is all right, by the way. I think greed is healthy. You can be greedy and still feel good about yourself
(Homans, 2012, p.1; Kay, 2003, p.1)." Greed is what lead Boesky to Insider Trading and ultimately
huge illegal profits and the scam he created was hidden in plain sight. Boesky wanted everyone to
believe that he was doing the world a service, but he was actually stealing (Homans, 2012). Ivan
Boesky was considered to be a leading man on Wall Street during what James Stewart called the
"Greed Decade" of the 1980's, and Boesky's specialty was insider trading (Stewart, 1991, p. 15).
Ivan Boesky and the insider trading cases of the 1980s are very significant white–collar crimes as
companies and communities were directly impacted; they were torn apart due to the leverage buyout
era Boesky orchestrated with the help of his corporate raiders. (Meserve, 2012) In addition, the
cases of the 1980s would be the first time the SEC got tough on insider trading, and Ivan Boesky
was the window into the securities frauds of the era (Stewart, 1991). Ivan Boesky was an arbitrageur
that made over $200 million dollars by betting on corporate mergers and acquisitions. Debra Ross in
the Encyclopedia of White–Collar Crime defined arbitrage as: "(1) a transaction that generates a
risk–free profit; (2) a leveraged speculative transaction; and (3) the activity of engaging in either of

Is the Monarchist Approach to Government the Right Way?
Julius Caesar violated the laws of nature in a number of ways, the amount of awards and honors that
he accepted against the Senate. The autocratic position of the "perpetual dictator" he took. His
overconfidence position leading to complacency. Defiance of Roman laws by the dissolution of
powers of the Senate. Dictatorship used only during exceptional times of crisis, not for absolute
control. On the other hand we have the conspirators reasons; "if our lives are endangered by plots or
violence, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right." True law is right reason in
agreement with nature, it is of universal application," "the administration of government, ought to be
directed to the good of those who confer, not of those who receive the trust."
Locke highlights the "perpetual dictator," in Caesar through his acquisition of trust from the people
of Rome. Caesar thought that he was untouchable, and escaped assassination. He, gained the
Romans trust, and was a dynamic and forceful leader with a privileged position. With this in mind,
Caesar played on its merits for his ultimate goal of becoming the supreme ruler of the Roman
Empire, which is totally opposite to the Republic. As per Locke, his analysis of the main
characteristic of the state is that of freedom. People are supposed to act as they see fit with

make choices. This includes their needs, their culture, their means of communication, their likes and
dislikes, wishes and feelings, advance directives, beliefs and values, involvement of their family and
other professionals. This should be considered and documented. Also, there must be evaluation in
assessing effectiveness in the plan of care. Moreover, through the Mental Capacity Act (2005), it
provides a legal framework for making decisions on behalf of the individual who lack the capacity
to make decisions for themselves as long as it does not restrict the rights and freedom of action. 3.4
Explain how an individual with dementia can be enabled to exercise their rights and choices even
when a decision has not been deemed to be in their best interests. Good communication with the
individual should be enhanced. Both individual and carer must compromise and negotiate to what
would benefit most for the individual as long as it is safe. Thorough information should be given
and must acknowledge the benefits of their choices. This is a way of recognising rights and choices
of the individual. One example is the resident's choice not to use his/her walking frame. This is one

Parenting : The Right Way
Kassidi Davies Professor Morrison ENG 1101 2 October 2015 Parenting the Right Way Every
parent has a different preference on how they want to raise their children, some more strict then
others but all attempting to get their children ready for the "real world" as some call it. There are
three types of parenting, all very different; one being permissive, another being authoritative, and
the last being authoritarian. Often parents are known to suggest ideas to other parents on how they
should discipline, which more times than not is taken offensively. Many people argue which is the
better way to raise a well–mannered successful child. The argument about how parenting should be
done is very opinion based, being that all children are different and have to be treated accordingly.
"Permissive parenting is sometimes known as indulgent parenting; it is a care free style of
parenting" (Cherry). This type of parent asks very little of their kids and has very low expectations
when it comes to learning self–discipline and gaining maturity. Most children wish they had parents
like these because they are very lenient and have little to no consequences. However, this causes
children to be spoiled, which is a high demanding child that expects their parents to do everything
for them and buy whatever they want. Permissive style parents are more like a friend to their child
rather than an authoritative parent. In some ways that is an exceptional thing because the children
feel like they can

Plagiarism Is Not The Right Way
Plagiarism has been around for a long time, nowadays it's easier to tell if someone plagiarizes.
Plagiarism is not the way to go it is not worth the risk and definitely has it consequences. Plagiarism
is an act or instance of using or closely imitating the thoughts of another author without
authorization and passing it as your own (Dictionary.com). Plagiarism is the work of those who are
not willing to put in the time and effort it takes to write original content. Which can be a form of
cheating which is not respectable and not good for the educating process at all. Instead of learning
the material and doing the research and required procedures for the assignment. Those who
plagiarize are cheating themselves in the long run, because they are not really learning the
information required for their class. Educators intend for students to complete the material provided
and trust them to complete their work the right way. I think we can all agree that writing an essay
isn't the most exciting thing to do, it takes a lot of thought and effort. However completing an essay
can be a very rewarding feeling. Knowing you worked hard researching and taking the time to
produce some good quality material can be motivating. Unfortunately those who choose plagiarism
prefer to take an easier route thinking they will not get caught. Taking someone else's hard work and
submitting it as their own is not right. In the end the consequences for choosing plagiarism is not
worth it.

Civil Procedure is not an effective way of establishing human rights in Australia. Discuss.
Human rights are inherent; they refer to the basic standard of treatment that all people should be
entitled to. They are based on the fundamental belief that all human beings have inherent dignity and
worth, and assist in the protection of people's freedom to make choices about their own lives, and
they promote equal opportunities for all people to develop to their full potential. In order to ascertain
as to whether or not civil procedure provides adequate protections of these rights within an

The following are recent examples where the Federal Government have ultimately failed to provide
adequate protection in relation to human rights:

– The introduction of harsh anti–terrorism laws which have infringed fundamental human rights,

If civil procedure provided an effective means whereby citizen were afford adequate protection of
their human rights, Australia would not be continually subjected to international criticism and

Marriage Is Not The Right Way

  • 1. Marriage Is Not The Right Way My family has always been very religious. Ever since I can remember I've gone to church on Sundays. It has become a part of my routine in my daily life. Since I am strong in my faith, it is safe to say I have a solid moral code. A fundamental part of my future is marriage. I believe in the holy sacrament of matrimony and all the sacred principles that go along with it such as waiting until marriage and not living together before marriage. Now being a religious teenager in a very secular society, it is sometimes hard to agree with what may seem the norm. One aspect of society that has emerged as standard is cohabitation before marriage. Cohabitation is a living arrangement in which an unmarried couple lives together in a long–term relationship that resembles a marriage. It has become quite the phenomenon. From 2005–2009, 66% of marriages formed suggested that cohabitation is now clearly the norm as part of the pathway to marriage (Guzzo). Personally, cohabitation before marriage is not the right way to go because it is not as economically or socially beneficial. As earlier stated that it has become institutionalized for couples to live together before marriage, some don't actually lead to marriage. They can possibly be the first union between partners. According to Arland Thornton, a sociologist professor at the University of Michigan, William G. Axinn, a social demographer at the University of Michigan, and Yu Xie, a leading American sociologist, it is legally more ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Right Way To Protest Essay When I think of protesting, I think of activists who want to make and see a change being made on a specific social issue. In regards to the "right" way to protest, I believe that less is more and simply getting together in a civilized matter is much more effective than causing chaos in the streets. Everybody handles things differently and some might find that being lawful is not the way to protest but in my point of view, I believe that risking you life or breaking the law is definitely not the way to get your voice heard clearly. In regards to protesting that blocks a freeway, I do not believe that it is a legitimate form of protesting. The reason being that 1) even though our First Amendment right protects freedom of speech, it is against the law to disobey traffic laws. 2) There must be enough space on the sidewalk or freeway entrance to allow the safe movement of traffic without putting the protester or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This form of protest focuses on disrupting the peace and damaging property, whether it be personal or government belongings. Vandalism, such as graffiti, is an act of public disturbance caused by a social activists who wants to generate awareness of issues and to influence people's thoughts. I believe that this is not a form of protest because it does not bring awareness to an issue but instead causes more chaos to the individuals involved. When someone damages someone else's property, it is extremely violating and eventually will make that particular social group look bad. If you are vandalizing property on behalf of a movement or campaign, then you are therefore a representation of what your group believes in. For example, when someone riots and vandalizes someone's property because they are angry is against the law and overall it just puts the person doing the criminal act back a couple of steps in spreading their message ... Right Of Way Means right of way – a right enjoyed by one person (either for himself or as a member of the public) to pass over another's land subject to such restrictions and conditions as are specified in the grant or sanctioned by custom, by virtue of which the right exists. A right of way – sometimes called an easement – can be created by long–time use under statute or common law. A right of way is nothing more than the right enjoyed by the owner of one piece of land over the land of another. ... Like other easements, a right of way runs and stays with the land and is not in any way personal. • 9. Virtue Ethics: Doing The Right Way Of Life Life happens quickly there is rarely any time to doubt and or reflect upon your moral obligations and responsibilities. Many opportunities in life are hard to come by and don't last forever, life is time sensitive and as humans we must act upon that which we wish to achieve before it passes us by. Virtue ethics defines morality in a way that matches the pace of humanity by calling for morally correct behavior out of ritual, or habit, making the individual moral, and not his or her decisions the source of morality. A practical moral guide is virtue ethics because; it is a guide of habit, a way of life. In virtue ethics there is a focus on doing the right thing for the right: reasons, emotions, and with the right demeanor. Not only does it asks for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example a gift given begrudgingly, could be considered not a gift at all. There is an expectancy to act and react to life with moral correctness, without any debating or deep thought upon the decision. To consider each layer of your action could take great efforts, habituation (or ritual) allows this process to come almost instinctively, which in turn allows us to naturally go about our lives without having to set aside unavailable time for reflection upon each decision. Confucius refers to this immediate response with morality as "hot cognition", the ability to reflexively react. Hot cognition, or virtue ethics, can be directly compared to principle ethics and their use of cold cognition, reflection upon each decision with reasoning. In principle ethics in order to achieve morality, it requires one to consider each decision carefully through a certain code, or algorithm. Each code or algorithm further more requires the consideration of each person and how your decision affects them. Fighting is not always the right way to go, and you should pick and choose your battles because, you are not going to win every fight, and there is always going to be someone bigger and better than you, but Malcolm X proved that sometimes it is ok fighting for what you believe is right. He fought for what he believed in, and that was full freedom and equal rights for African Americans. Malcolm X went from humiliation to admiration for fighting for what he believed was right to him. As you may know, Malcolm X was a well–known and influential individual during the Civil Rights era also. Malcolm X supported both the institution of a separated black community and the make of use of violence in self–defense. X's strenuously, obstinate judgments put fear in the white community. When Malcolm X left the Black Muslim Nation of Islam organization, where he had been a leader and a spokesperson. His views on white people eased but his main message of black gratification suffered. In 1966, in Oakland California, Huey Newton and Bobby Seale started the Black Panther foundation. • 13. Disney Gets It Right : Moana The Way Finder Disney Gets It Right: Moana the Way–finder "If you reduced the Disney films [to a phrase] it would be 'Once Upon a Time,'" said Glen Keane... once upon a time. Disney has a habit of portraying petite princesses who sit around with no real purpose except to wait for Prince Charming to come along and rescue them from their everlasting slumber. This is certainly not the case for Disney's latest hit, Moana (2016). This "Disney Princess" is no princess; Moana does not seek to live happily ever after in a huge castle with any Prince Charming. Moana's (2016) deviation from typical, "princess" life is what sets it apart from mainstream Disney expectations. However, Disney does exceed in delivering its most iconic expectations in this blockbuster. Moana's (2016) genre, age appropriateness, animation quality, and plot, all prove that Disney has succeeded in producing yet another exceptional classic. Moana (2016) is an adventure–packed film in every sense of the word; although it does have some humorous scenes. For example, in one scene Maui, Moana's demi–god companion, uses Moana's dumbfounded pet chicken, HeiHei, to carve his name on her oar while explaining, "When you use a bird to write with it's called tweeting" (Lasseter, J. & Shurer, O., Clements, R., Hall, D., Musker, J., & Williams, C., 2016). However, the small bouts of comedy do not compare to the amount of adventure Maui and Moana encounter throughout their voyage. Scenes ranging from Maui stealing the heart of Te Fiti, a ... • 15. Unions Are A Most Effective Way Of Protecting Worker's Rights 2. Do you agree that unions are a most effective way of protecting worker's rights? Should U.S. labor law be changed to be more in line with international labor codes? Answer: Yes, I agree that solidarity campaigns in support of workers and/or unions are an effective way of protecting worker's rights. Without the formation of unions such as the United Farm Workers founded by Chavez and Huerta in 1962, vulnerable workers would have no defense against the systemic exploitation and violations against their rights as workers and as human beings (Brubaker, 2007, p. 96). Exposed by the Human Rights Watch (HRW), is the fact that agricultural work in the U.S. is the most punishing and perilous work open to children in the contemporary world. ... Senator Byron Dorgan reported that under the Jordanian Free Trade Agreement, we ended up with people of Bangladesh working 120 hours a week, turning Chinese cloth into apparel designed for the U.S. market, which enters the U.S. duty free. According to a 2006 Harris poll, 75% of Americans support the protection of international workers' rights, therefore, the creators of these laws need to recognize the need for reform in the laws affecting workers of the world (Brubaker, 2007, p. 106). 3. Does the idea of community–supported agriculture appeal to you? What would it take to make something like this happen in your community? Answer: Yes! I love the idea of community–supported agriculture for several reasons. In the first place, the goals identified, such as "mutually beneficial relationships with a community of consumers, environmentally sustainable farming practices, and public education on contemporary agricultural issues makes sense to me. Also, the high quality, locally grown produce is more available and affordable, and even reduces the negative environmental impacts caused by conventional production and distribution systems. • 17. The Right Way To Rock The Boat Analysis Nando Pelusi's article, "The Right Way to Rock the Boat", is an informative/explanatory essay that tells us why we, as a society, are filled with timidness and why we should overcome this. Timidness runs in our society because are ancestors, for so long, were afraid that having conflicts with people could cause them to be murdered. Pelusi was saying that this way of existing has existed for so long that it has become the norm. This new norm has also caused us to think so highly of other people's opinions, thus limiting our desire to express ourselves. The goal of this essay is to get people to understand that assertiveness is okay and should not be shunned, as it is a necessity in today's environment. First in the article is Charles Darwin's predicament, anxiety. The naturalist famous for his works in natural selection was, as the author puts it, "...close to being remembered as a footnote.." because he feared criticism, like most people today. Furthermore, the author refers to this hyperconsciousness as merely a human adaptation. Despite this, Darwin eventually published his findings when he discovered that someone else was close to his discoveries. This shows exactly why assertiveness is necessary, especially if it's ... What is being said here is that when two or more people interact with one another, there will always be a person leading, and a person following. You may be taking a chance when choosing the assertive route, but it's a matter of furthering yourself, not just existing. • 19. Are we teaching the right things, to the right people, in... Education, we hear that word quite frequently but what does it mean? Miriam Webster's Dictionary defines education as "the knowledge and development resulting from an educational process". Everyone needs some education to be a success in life. The amount and types of education can vary but we all need the basics of reading, writing and math to be successful in life, and to be professional in the workplace. I see education as a step to success in the future. Education ideally results in effective communication, and a successful professional life. We have alternate ways of learning, and new things to learn as a result of technology. We must be educated to communicate in a professional way. Mr. Kohn states in the article that his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These people are educated, just not in a traditional sense. We cannot consider someone "uneducated" just because of their profession; they are educated to a level appropriate to their profession. There are alternative ways to learn traditional basics. Taking chemistry can sound dull and unappealing, however, taking "food science" and earning the chemistry credit sounds more interesting. Colorado public high schools have several alternative ways to earn credits for traditional subjects. In my high school years, I took two. I took Food Science 1 and 2 instead of Chemistry, and I took Business Math instead of Trigonometry. For me, these were classes that taught me chemistry and math in a way that made sense, and seemed applicable to my life. I think that schools should offer more of these alternative classes. They keep things a little more interesting for students while still teaching us things we needed to learn. • 21. High School Experience : The Right, Way Of Living For the majority of my life, I had lived the way they referred to as "the right" way of living. I did as I was told and dressed how they would have preferred me to. I had also done well in school since the idea of being successful had always been engraved in my head. As a teenager, I never had the opportunity to experience what countless men and women would refer to as "high school experience" since I excessively worried about my grades and any possible way I could improve them. Subsequently, I completely disregarded the thought of gaining experience in which resulted in having no recollection of memories in which I can truly value. Therefore, what exactly have I been doing with my life? Absolutely nothing. I had the same routine for six years; wake up, get dressed, go to school, eat lunch, study for several hours and then go to sleep. I lived a monotonous life in which I felt had no meaning. As a result, of the establishment engraved in my head at such a young age, I had forgotten all it is that life has to offer. That life is limited and how important it is to "live in the moment" which can be demonstrated by the moments I've missed, the moments I've had, and those I long to experience. It was around middle of my high school year when I first heard the following quote by George Harrison, "It 's being here now that 's important. There 's no past and there 's no future...All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can 't relive it; and we can ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Federal Railroad Right-Of-Way In this case, Mr. Brandt had filed a lawsuit against the Federal Government for "the right–of–way crossing" his land had extinguished after the cessation of the railroad activity in the corridor. The Government had argued that this right was created by the Federal General Railroad Right–of–Way Act of 1875 and should be valid on the gounds that the railroad line was affirmed to be abandoned. While reviewing this case, it must be determined whether or not that the Government, under this Act, had retained an interest in the abandoned railroad right–of–way. After the trial court had dismissed the case along with affirmation from the 10th Circuit Court, the U.S Supreme Court reversed and remanded it to the court of appeals. In my last entry, when I wrote that I had tricks up my sleeve, I meant that I would teach Private Turner the wrong way to read. When I told Private Turner that I would teach him to read, I never said that I would teach him the right way to read. After a long day, I finally got back to the wagon and tried to sleep. With all the wounded moaning and groaning, it seemed impossible to sleep. Around dawn, I woke up, which meant at some point, I fell asleep. I must of fell asleep because the moaning and groaning finally stopped. It seemed to me that the man next to me was making all of that noise, but now he stopped. Did he die? Change Management The need to quickly implement far–reaching and often complex strategic change has led many managers and change agents to search for simple solutions and the one right way.... The appealing aspect of the promise held out for these types of change technologies is that they can absolve the manager from the onerous task of critically reviewing the full range of other competing approaches or devising a custom–made change program. They cut through complexity. However the offer is often illusory, for particular change approaches usually apply to particular situations, and simple solutions sometimes ignore the complexities of real life. Andriopoulos & Dawson (2009) agree that in the case of organisational change, there remains considerable debate over the speed, direction and effects of change and on the most appropriate methods and concepts for understanding and explaining change. Kanter, Stein & Jick (1992) found that it would be very difficult for a single solution or approach to meet all the types of changes required and to take into account all of the required aspects as organisations are fluid entities. In an attempt to provide a more broad solution, Stace & Dunphy (2001) proposed a situational approach or framework for change. They argued that there is no single path to successful change implementation that holds true in all situations. This framework however has been criticised by Andriopoulos & Dawson (2009) for neglecting the role of organisational politics and the internal power relationships within organisations as shapers of the organisational change process. Pettigrew (1985) presented a holistic, contextual analysis approach providing a multi–level approach to encapsulate the complexities of change management. Pettigrew argued that strategic change is a continuous process with no clear beginning or end point. However, Buchanan and Boddy (1992) argued that the richness and complexity of the multi–level analysis presented by Pettigrew, while comprehensive, it did little to simplify or clarify the processes of change and ... Goal: to post a guide on how to properly do content marketing Total Word Count In This Document: 1029 Title: ?Are You Doing Content Marketing The Right Way?? First off, what is content marketing? Essentially, content marketing is the successor to the dying practice of traditional marketing. Traditional marketing was the go–to marketing strategy of the pre–Information Age world. Traditional marketing included radio ads, magazine ads, and television commercials, all of which can now be fast–forwarded (thanks to DVR), ?skipped? with just a click of a button, or just simply ignored. Next is search engine optimization, or SEO, which means that popular search engines like Google reward businesses that publish high–quality and consistent content by placing information about their products, brand, and services or links to their websites higher on search engine results pages, making it more likely for potential consumers to see, click on, and learn about them instead of their competitors. The next is public relations, or PR. In the world of content marketing, successful PR strategies are the ones that address the issues that consumers care about instead of the issues that the business cares about. After all, since content marketing is basically all about ?the art of communicating with you customers and prospects without selling?, in order to succeed, and gain and retain consumers, businesses need to care about the consumers, not about the business itself per se. Boesky wanted everyone to believe that he was doing the world a service, but he was actually stealing (Homans, 2012). Ivan Boesky was considered to be a leading man on Wall Street during what James Stewart called the "Greed Decade" of the 1980's, and Boesky's specialty was insider trading (Stewart, 1991, p. 15). Ivan Boesky and the insider trading cases of the 1980s are very significant white–collar crimes as companies and communities were directly impacted; they were torn apart due to the leverage buyout era Boesky orchestrated with the help of his corporate raiders. (Meserve, 2012) In addition, the cases of the 1980s would be the first time the SEC got tough on insider trading, and Ivan Boesky was the window into the securities frauds of the era (Stewart, 1991). Ivan Boesky was an arbitrageur that made over $200 million dollars by betting on corporate mergers and acquisitions. Debra Ross in the Encyclopedia of White–Collar Crime defined arbitrage as: "(1) a transaction that generates a risk–free profit; (2) a leveraged speculative transaction; and (3) the activity of engaging in either of the above ... • 60. Is The Monarchist Approach On Government The Right Way? Sally Lutchman CLDV 210 Essay III Is the Monarchist Approach to Government the Right Way? Julius Caesar violated the laws of nature in a number of ways, the amount of awards and honors that he accepted against the Senate. The autocratic position of the "perpetual dictator" he took. His overconfidence position leading to complacency. Defiance of Roman laws by the dissolution of powers of the Senate. Dictatorship used only during exceptional times of crisis, not for absolute control. On the other hand we have the conspirators reasons; "if our lives are endangered by plots or violence, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right." True law is right reason in agreement with nature, it is of universal application," "the administration of government, ought to be directed to the good of those who confer, not of those who receive the trust." Locke highlights the "perpetual dictator," in Caesar through his acquisition of trust from the people of Rome. Caesar thought that he was untouchable, and escaped assassination. He, gained the Romans trust, and was a dynamic and forceful leader with a privileged position. With this in mind, Caesar played on its merits for his ultimate goal of becoming the supreme ruler of the Roman Empire, which is totally opposite to the Republic. As per Locke, his analysis of the main characteristic of the state is that of freedom. People are supposed to act as they see fit with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 68. Parenting : The Right Way Kassidi Davies Professor Morrison ENG 1101 2 October 2015 Parenting the Right Way Every parent has a different preference on how they want to raise their children, some more strict then others but all attempting to get their children ready for the "real world" as some call it. There are three types of parenting, all very different; one being permissive, another being authoritative, and the last being authoritarian. Often parents are known to suggest ideas to other parents on how they should discipline, which more times than not is taken offensively. Many people argue which is the better way to raise a well–mannered successful child. The argument about how parenting should be done is very opinion based, being that all children are different and have to be treated accordingly. "Permissive parenting is sometimes known as indulgent parenting; it is a care free style of parenting" (Cherry). This type of parent asks very little of their kids and has very low expectations when it comes to learning self–discipline and gaining maturity. Most children wish they had parents like these because they are very lenient and have little to no consequences. However, this causes children to be spoiled, which is a high demanding child that expects their parents to do everything for them and buy whatever they want. Permissive style parents are more like a friend to their child rather than an authoritative parent. In some ways that is an exceptional thing because the children feel like they can ... • 72. Plagiarism Is Not The Right Way Plagiarism has been around for a long time, nowadays it's easier to tell if someone plagiarizes. Plagiarism is not the way to go it is not worth the risk and definitely has it consequences. Plagiarism is an act or instance of using or closely imitating the thoughts of another author without authorization and passing it as your own (Dictionary.com). Plagiarism is the work of those who are not willing to put in the time and effort it takes to write original content. Which can be a form of cheating which is not respectable and not good for the educating process at all. Instead of learning the material and doing the research and required procedures for the assignment. Those who plagiarize are cheating themselves in the long run, because they are not really learning the information required for their class. Educators intend for students to complete the material provided and trust them to complete their work the right way. I think we can all agree that writing an essay isn't the most exciting thing to do, it takes a lot of thought and effort. However completing an essay can be a very rewarding feeling. Knowing you worked hard researching and taking the time to produce some good quality material can be motivating. Unfortunately those who choose plagiarism prefer to take an easier route thinking they will not get caught. Taking someone else's hard work and submitting it as their own is not right. In the end the consequences for choosing plagiarism is not worth it. Why do they do ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 74. The Night The sky got darker, or so it seemed, as I woke up on the heavily carpeted floor in a small room. It had no signs or buttons, and I could feel the rapid descent downward that pulled on my entire body; an elevator, perhaps? The room let out a familiar ring as the metal doors in front of me opened. It seemed inviting enough, but the fear of not knowing still got to me. Following that, I was bombarded with eternal questions. How did I get here? Where was I before this? I reluctantly walked out of the elevator and followed the only path I could. The hallway I traveled through was decorated elegantly. Gems and beautiful patterns filled each door and lit up the whole room in a wonderful manner. Maybe this place wasn't as bad as I imagined it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I can't tell you where this place is, but what I can tell you is that if you want to exit this place, you will have to play a game, and you will risk your life during said game," explained the bartender. My face didn't show it, but my heart pounded like crazy. I immediately ran back through the hallway towards the elevator. Yet, it didn't open. I tried looking for other doors. They didn't open either. I ran back to the bar, as mad as I could ever be, and yelled, "What if we don't want to play the game?" out of sheer panic and shock. "I wouldn't suggest that," the bartender smirked at me. The bar behind him concaved and opened up a new room. Although dark, you could make out lifeless bodies hanging upside down. "What happens if we lose?" the old man inquired. "I'm sorry, but all I can say is that you will be risking your life in this game. Please press this button to determine your game." The old man immediately pressed the button. I unwillingly accepted my fate. It's like this bar's job is to keep me stressed. How ironic. "The game you will be playing is pool. Please follow me," announced the bartender as we headed into the pool room. "The goal of this game is to capture the 8 ball. Who wants to break?" Human rights are inherent; they refer to the basic standard of treatment that all people should be entitled to. They are based on the fundamental belief that all human beings have inherent dignity and worth, and assist in the protection of people's freedom to make choices about their own lives, and they promote equal opportunities for all people to develop to their full potential. In order to ascertain as to whether or not civil procedure provides adequate protections of these rights within an Australian context, it is essential to first examine the current mechanisms in place in the absence of a Bill Of Rights, and to assess their overall ...
