Nursing Student Report
As a nursing student, I have assessed that majority of my time is focused on school and not having a
social life. As a student that is expected during the school year. I have assessed that as a student I eat
5 hours approximately in a 24 hour period. Sleep 7–8 hours during the week and possibly 8–12
hours during the weekend if I don't work and if I do work I would approximately get 6–7 hours of
sleep. I work 40 hours a week in a 2 week period and 3 days per week and 8 and half hours shifts.
Occasionally I will exercise for 1–2 hours and 2–4 days per week. My social activities include 6–10
hours of hanging out and have a social life 2–3 days per week. I also study, read, homework and
have tests and quizzes and combining all three of those tasks I would be spending approximately 8
hours in a week. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

fatigue is work less than 40 hours a week by becoming PRN, decrease the number of stimuli while
sleeping during the week, increase nutritional intake. In order to start my exercising regime again, I
will exercise right after school. In order to evaluate working less than 40 hours and becoming a

any chance I get I look up any information that will come up and read everything possible to give

important to me for several years and I'm never letting go of this no matter what it takes to get there.
I enjoy sports a lot and like learning how to help people get to learn more about the proper use of
equipment, and I like teaching people too. That is one requirement that it takes to be an athletic
trainer. I am interested in the occupation because it fits perfect in what I am looking for in a career. I
feel like with me being involved in the sports the way that I am now it would be perfect and I have
plans to still wanting to be as athletic when I am older too. Being an athletic trainer takes being fit/

able to play, teach players, coaches, and parents how to prevent injury, and recommend special diets
to improve health of athletes. More responsibilities of an athletic trainer would be leading stretching
exercises before games or workouts, consult with doctors concerning player injuries and how these
injuries may impact their ability to play"(okcareerguide.kuder). Those are

3.2 demonstrate ways of working that can help improve partnership working
By working in partnership with professional colleagues, can help to overcome perceived boundaries
between services and organisations,
Effective partnership working is built upon a clear understanding of the different roles each person
has in supporting the person. Increasing clarity and agreement about roles and responsibilities
improves understanding, and leads to mutually supportive relationships. Clear remits, lines of
communication and accountability characterise successful approaches to partnership working.
Ways to improve this would be information sharing, i.e. what is important and what make the person

to meet the needs of the individual to provide the best possible quality care service to ensure a good
quality of life of the individual to treat the individual as you would want to be treated
1.3 explain why risk taking can be part of a person centred approach
A person centred approach seeks to focus on people 's rights to have the lifestyle that they chose,
including the right to make 'bad ' decisions. The approach uses person centred thinking tools, to help
people and those who care about them most think in a positive and productive way about how to
ensure that they can achieve the changes they want to see while keeping the issue of risk in its place.
In essence is a process to gather, in partnership with the person, the fullest information and evidence
to demonstrate that we have thought deeply about all the issues involved. Decisions are then guided
by what is important to the person, what is needed to keep them healthy and safe and on what the

How My Major and Minor Will Help in My Endeavors
Explaining the importance of my major and minor is very simple. My major will be general
business; the reasoning behind this choice is I have always been fascinated by business. I loved my
economics classes which fueled my interest for investing and looking at companies and gauging
their worth and risk. In this regard i feel like having a general business degree will help me find a
job in anything business as I will have a wide spread knowledge on the topic, while I do love
business that is not my main goal. To understand that you have to look at my minor, this will be
communications.
I have always been a people person, I loved talking with everyone about anything and understanding
their interests and expressing my own. In the past semester I took a speech class and found I really
enjoyed it which got me thinking about what i wanted to do when I graduate. This is when it all
comes together. My major is business which will give me the background into business that I need.
My minor is communications which will give me the skills I need to go into either public relations
or a salesman for a large company. I feel the importance of these degrees should be easily
identifiable. Everyone needs someone to talk for and be the face for a large company. That is where
I see myself in ten years, working for a company as a public relations representative. My degree in
business will give me credibility and know how into the subject while my communications minor
will give me the skill to

Client Paper
Client Paper 2
When we are in the human service profession we meet many clients with many needs that have to
have our help. These needs can range from abuse, alcohol, drugs, personal, mental and physical
dysfunction. You can also come across a large range or family issues that can lead to many harder
issues to deal with. When you work with such clients you have to gain their trust to maintain they
get the help and services they need to be able to move on with their goals. As human services
workers we all work as a team to help all clients to meet their everyday needs, and it's just not one
person's job to help the client.

This to me is a good value as being a good human service worker. You need to be a good listener so
that you and your clients can have a good reputation. This is also a good need for understanding of
the client's problems, you can learn how the client feels, their strengths and fears, you can build a
rapport, this I all just by listening to your client and having the skill of listening to them. Also when
you are in this field you need to use what is called the reflecting image which is when a client talks
to you, you let the client know that its ok to continue to talk and make them feel more comfortable
to talk. This is also a listening skill that makes a worker client relationship work. Then next you
want to reassure the client feelings to them that they have told you. You also can make sure this is
what they mean and what out of their feelings. Also a big part of the client worker relationship is
restating what has already been said and making sure that they know you are knowley doing for
them.
Client Paper 5
Toward the end of the section you want to summarize their needs with the client. At this point open
up the floor for questions and any additional information needed. This would also be a good time to
set a goal for the client to practice on the helping needs of counseling.
In conclusion you need to always keep an open mind when it comes to

Taking a Look at Sexual Desire
Sexual desire is a natural part of human species and should not be something to worry about. Sexual
desire should be able to be open to talk to your parents or with your spouse/boyfriend or girlfriend.
All of this gives great thought to the fact that in every type of person they have some form of a
sexual desire whether they want to admit it or not. It is known that a lot of times guys are big on not
wanting to admit they want sex or perhaps is thinking about sex. It is also known that it is true
especially in the younger group versus the older crowd. That of course leads to another important
part that everyone has some form of a sexual desire in their life time. Of course each persons desire
perhaps might not be the same as someone else's desire or even their need for sex. These desires of
course happen at different times in a persons life and at different age groups as well. Sex might be
important when a person is younger, however when a person becomes older depending on the
person and their age it might not be important to them any longer. If we think outside of the box for
a minute, the perfect example of this would have to be the fact that a sixteen year old boy wants to
experiment with sex because he has been told about it because he wants to be in the popular group
with the other boys. All of that is driven on peer pressure. Then of course we look at the it another
way if perhaps you were a sixteen year old female and they do not want to have a sexual

The Benefits Of Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is a thrilling and exciting journey. The possibilities of financial freedom and
professional gratification are abundant. At the same time, the challenges can be unforeseen and
discouraging. As a result of the challenges, many people throw the towel in and accept defeat. If
you're in a direct sales business, you have the unique opportunity to be an entrepreneur yet still have
the safety net of a company to give you guidance, tools and more. If you really want to thrive in a
direct sales model, it's more than possible. In order to reach your goal of success, there are four tips
you'll want to keep at the top of your mind as you write your business goals down.
1. Be a product of the product.
It makes no sense to sell the product if you don't use it. Consider yourself a walking billboard for the
product or services you sell. If you're in a direct sales company that sells health supplements and
nutritional products, you should look like the epitome of health. Be the best advocate of the product
to show people that it actually works. Word–of–mouth marketing is the most contagious tactic and
will get the word around quicker.
2. Build a strong following on social media.
While you don't want to rely on one post making it big and going viral, understand that this isn't too
far–fetched with social media. When you build a strong following of loyal fans, as they like your
content, it'll get shared more and pushed in front of new people. In order to build a strong

What Dynamics Contribute To The Elijah Syndrome Short Story
1. Elijah's zeal for the Lord's work had risen to a crescendo just prior to his fearful flight in this
passage. Why is it often difficult to hear the Lord's voice when you are feeling especially busy and
successful at "doing the Lord's work?"
I believe that human nature once a person is succeeding in God's work tends to focus on how good
they are doing and forgets it is not by their own power. Once a person starts to feel successful they
may think they are doing it on their own and do not need help from God. When the thought creeps
into our mind, a Christian may be less likely to listen and seek God's voice and plan. I belief Elijah
started to trust his own might and knew he could not stay safe from the queen and her power. Elijah
forgot about the power of God in this moment of fear. When Elijah started to feel busy he thought he
didn't have time to wait for God's direction. A Christian a person must save time to listen to the
Lord's voice and His direction. Elijah was so focused on what was happening around him and the
threats on His life he ran away instead of asking God for His protection and guidance.
2. What dynamics contribute to the Elijah Syndrome–the sudden onset of fear and despair after a
peak experience with God?
The strong threat from Jezebel that she would take Elijah's life terrified him. Jezebel was infuriated
at Elijah for having her prophets of Baal killed. Her wrath was focused on Elijah even thou he was
following God's will. Elijah became overwhelmed

Airways Airlines
Commercial airlines provide a bevy of services to customers and often differentiate ever so
minuscule to win customers from rival airlines. Not only are airlines competing amongst one
another for customers but adverse situations such as adverse weather, equipment failures and
Transport Security Administration (TSA). Airlines are competing with each other while the
customers are debating if they want to deal with the stress of flying. Airlines offer services or
amenities to make it more appealing to use their services. All planes fly from point A to point B, but
what goes on in between makes the difference in the customer's commercial flying experience.
With so many services provided by airlines it's best, to look at the big picture and ... Show more

Just as fast a company gains a customer they could lose a customer if the services are not provided
fast enough. Not only should the service be provided efficiently but quality laden to. Using
technology to provide services to customers should not water down the quality provided.
Adjusting to a customer is not a direct service but something that the services are provided need to
accomplish. For instance, weather delays where customer miss their connecting flights, airlines
partner with one another to get the customer to their destination the same day. However, this is not
always possible, and airlines typically provide meal and lodging when there are not able to.
Adjusting to customers during extended delays will help to satisfy customers when circumstances
are uncontrollable. Customers do not care that the aircraft that they were supposed to fly is broken
but only that they want to get to their destination for safe and sound without delay. Airlines that have
coordination management with their services will attract the most customers.

I Believe I Am A Child of God
At the young age of eighteen, my life was changed in a drastic way. Through out my childhood and
teenage years, my mother and father tried to force God down my throat and not till this life changing
moment did I realize why. I could have been living a worldly life striving for popularity, having
expensive things, and living in sin, but I chose to be a follower of Christ because he gave his life for
me. The first day of high school, boy was I worried. Would I make friends? Will anyone like me? I

The preacher began his sermon and everything he said related to my life. I could feel an intense
pounding in my heart telling me that God loves me and wants me to be one of his followers. I went
home that day and wanted to figure out what more I could do to get closer to God. I read up on the
bible and my next step was to get baptized in water so that I can be born again.
September 19, 2010, I put on my white, long, satin dress with jewels and rushed to rooster rock state
park where I would be baptized. This was the happiest day of my life. This day meant that I would
finally live and serve God, because he sent his son Jesus on earth to die for our sins so that we
wouldn't have to. In exchange for his sacrifice I chose from this day on to proclaim his name and
spread his word so that others could experience the joy, love and happiness I feel on a daily basis. It
came the time to get in the water and be dunked, I was nervous, but when my head came out from
under the water I felt completely new and washed of my sins. Ever since freshman year in high
school I lived a life of unhappiness. I never was completely satisfied with my life and I didn't
understand why. I got everything I wanted had all the friends I needed but still wasn't happy. It took
me eighteen years to figure out that I didn't need things and people to make me happy I needed God
in my life. I needed him

Paying College Athletes Essay
Paying college Athletes
Paying College Athletes, has been a problem topic for a while.
Paying college athletes can have a lot of positive effects, it can teach these young athletes how to
handle money, it gives them some form of income especially if some of the athletes do not have job,
during the football/ basketball season etc. And they can kind of see what it will be like in the pros as
far as being paid to play, I'm not saying pay them like the pros like $5,000 a game but I'm saying
like pay them $100 a game, just something, and a lot of people will say isn't a scholarship enough,
well sometimes it's not. Most athletic scholarships only cover a portion of the cost and you are
supposed to cover the rest on your own. And if you don't have a job during the season or your barley
are able to work, it can be hard for athletes to make ends meet obviously. Like in the case of this
basketball player Shabazz Napier stated, "I don't feel student–athletes should get hundreds of
thousands of dollars, but like I said, there are hungry nights that I go to bed and I'm starving,". I
mean there are players that are really struggling just to be able to eat, and colleges want these same
athletes to be at their very best at all times, but how can they, when they cannot even meet their own
nutritional needs.
Another case is Bo Wallace, a QB at Ole Miss' stated "A lot of guys go to bed hungry at night".
"That's real!". He also stated in an SEC Media Days session, "We have our

The Need for Child-friendly Establishments
Child–friendly establishments are becoming more sort after on the sunshine coast as the population
of families' increases. According to the research conducted on average 83.3% of hospitality
establishments may have well up to 10 or more families visiting their business within one day. The
local industry strives to accommodate for children as the sunshine coast area is a popular family
holiday destination. Therefore hospitality establishments are changing their target audience from
couples with no children to families. With the rise in number of families eating out, are these
establishments really catering to the needs of the children or are they still pursing child free
customers?
Parents with children and babies have very different needs to that of an adult; this makes children a
special need clientele. Some of their special needs include; modified seating, short attention spans,
very energetic, basic uncomplicated foods, nutritional food, pram access around the table, close
parking, cost effective, access to gender friendly bathrooms, modified toilets, change tables,
breastfeeding areas and parents want convenient location. To cater for these needs restaurants,
café's, taverns and other hospitality business need to have highchairs or booster seats, activity packs,
play areas, a kids menu, appetising nutritional food, space between tables, specialized pram parking,

The Brain And Its Impact On Behavior And Cognitive Function
I have always had a passion and interest in working with the unknown. When I was in high school, I
always made sure I was taking science classes that interested me, and would help me decide on what
I wanted to major in college. I chose neuroscience as my major because it is a subject that continues
to fascinate me. Neuroscience is the study of how the nervous system develops, its structure, and
what it does. I want to focus on the brain and its impact on behavior and cognitive functions. I want
to go into clinical neuroscience (looking at the disorders of the nervous system) or cognitive
neuroscience, which studies the higher cognitive functions and underlying neural bases. With a
neuroscience major, I would like to pursue a career in clinical research, do research for the National
Institute of Health, work for the CDC and specialize in neurological disease, and/or run a clinical
research project in another country. I want to pursue a career in one of these areas because I want to
dedicate my knowledge, skills, and time to helping people and the world of science. I want my work
to make a positive impact on society and be beneficial for the forthcoming generations. I want to
help people and discover new things that will help those in need. I am motivated every day to
continue working hard by realizing there are still more things to be discovered and that it could be
done by me.

Observation Of A Safe Environment
1. Safe Environment:
For the first part of my observation I noticed that the environment was not in the best shape that it
could be, so I asked the program supervisor "John" why the environment looked like it was under
repair and he explained that the whole school was under construction. Through my observation I did
notice that for the most part the environment was safe, but it did have major hazards that concerned
me. The environment had safe ratios, for example, in the specific class that I observed there was
seven infants and two adults the caretakes informed me that it is regularly eight infants in the
classroom four infants per adult, but a child was out sick with the flu. In addition, I noticed that in
the front part of the classroom where the door entry and fire extinguisher are located there was a fire
and emergency plan that includes emergency information and a plan to get the infants to safety. The
classroom also had emergency numbers posted by the phone area and I was told that all emergency
cards were stored in a file card holder that is easy to access. Furthermore, throughout my
observation I noticed that children could take risk opportunities like running around, climbing, and
playing in tent areas without injury and with constant supervision. The classroom I observed was
accepting of constant interactions, but they always made it clear to the children that it was not
appropriate to hurt one another. However, although the program had many good qualities that

Cash Grants Essay
Consider the compact of co–responsibility between the government and recipients. What is needed
to make the compact work? Progresa had the goal of increasing the basic capabilities of extremely
poor people in rural Mexico (Levine, 2007, p.67). Progresa is a program developed by the
government of Mexico in 1997, and was implemented by President Ernesto Zedillo. With the help of
Santiago Levy who was an economist, Progresa was developed to help break the cycle of poverty in
Mexico. In order for the compact to work between the government and the recipients, a change had
to take place from the governments' standpoint. The government came to the realization of what the

67). The focus of the cash grants was used as an incentive to help motivate people to participate in
the program, specifically mothers. Mothers' were usually the caretakers of the children and the
household; therefore, the program directed the cash grants to support the mothers in their decision
and their responsibility towards the program. This decision was based on research conducted by
social science analysis, which proved to have worked. According to the research, mothers tend to
invest in their children's education, healthcare and nutritional needs more than any other parent.
Therefore, it made logical sense to have the mothers' be responsible and eligible for the cash grants.
In this choice, positivity seemed to have been the outcome. Child health improved in the Progresa
areas. For example, children under 5 years of age in Progresa, who were required to seek well–child
care and received nutritional support, had a 12% lower incidence of illness than children not
included in the program (Levine, 2007, p. 70). In regards to education, enrollment grew for the girls
and the boys while child labor decreased significantly. Nutritionally, the children in the program had

her biochips gave her subliminal messages that told her to go to her room. If she could overpower
that, then she still has free will. Free will is a strong characteristic for any living being, and if Jenna
can do that, then she can behave like a normal human. Another strong characteristic is curiosity. It
has a few definitions, which are to be inquisitive and to be odd. When Jenna is first asked if she was
curious, so she responded in an interesting way. "I 've been in a coma for over a year. I guess that
makes me highly unusual; odd; strange. Yes, Lily. I am curious" (11). Even though she just woke up

For one, a counselor need to attack the fine balance between the need to maintain client privacy and
confidentiality and the need to communicate with insurers, other treating professionals and larger
health systems. Counselor's records must also follow the state and federal laws (King & Klawitter,

No information can be given without Josephine's information can be released without her written
consent but there are exceptions to this rule. All hospitals and clinics have something call the

For counseling to continue, insurance information needs to be on file making sure that co–payments

information with payments is correct. If she has changed any information in regards to insurance,
she will have to provide the correct information and any payments that are not made yet.

secure and comfortable. Also, schedules and routines help children understand the expectations of
the environment and reduce the frequency of behaviour problems, such as tantrums and acts of
aggression.
Children thrive on routine and knowing what comes next. It gives them security and makes them
more settled. It is easier for them to learn because they have boundaries set and they know that they

varied. When choosing meals to include in menus, remember that: A variety of foods should be
served throughout the menu cycle and a minimum cycle of three weeks is suggested. Choose
combinations of colours to make the food attractive. Three or four defined areas of colour look good

Persuasive Essay Pergue In Janey
(Janey is in a garden watching the stars in the sky. She becomes upset when someone approaches)
JANEY
I was hoping I could be alone out here in the garden. No one ever comes here in the evening. I
wanted to be here for the stars.
(Angrily)
I don't want anything – and I don't want to talk anymore – can I please be by myself? That's all
you've done here – poke, prod, and pry – I've never felt so violated before – I just want to be left
alone.
(Pause)
I don't like being around anyone. I get upset when I'm in a room full of people.
(Pause. afraid)
I get really scared – I almost feel like I can't breathe – I just need to be alone, Doctor – I know you
don't really care – you're simply doing your job – once I'm "better" you'll be through with me – then
it's on to another patient – you're just like anyone else –
(Almost shouting)
You probably haven't cared about any patient in years – that would be unprofessional – an
unnecessary burden on your conscience – Please, just go – I know what I need better than you –
You're not God, you know – you don't have the powers to cure everything – I know what you can
and can't do –Go on – get out of here!
(Pause – she gets an evil smile)
Relax?
(Laughs)
How can I relax with you bothering me all the time? If there's another way, I'd like to know how –
(Pause. Turns away)
Is there anything else you wish to pry out of me? No? Good – then goodnight –
(JANEY starts weeding the flower bed)
I thought you were leaving – Sorry but I'm busy – I'm killing weeds – Cultivating beauty by killing
the ugly – it's an odd practice – in reality its weeds on which the soil feeds –
(Stops)
But few people find the truth as fulfilling – If only you had planted something more useful – beans,
or tomatoes, then the sacrifice might be worthwhile – but flowers, they're more difficult to justify –
Frail beauty – that's all they are – cultivated for weakness – and has very little nutritional value – in
the end they never can satisfy – always a disappointment as they wither and die – Frail and weak – a
light frost would snap its neck –
(JANEY breaks the head off a flower)
So easily smitten by one little insect –

Who Moved My Cheese
Who Moved My Cheese Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson, tells the story of how our
surrounding environment changes, how we need deal with these changes instead of adapting to it,
and how to succeed in life. In this story there are four characters: two mice, Sniff and Scurry and
two litter people Haw and Hem, all of them looking for cheese in the maze to survive. Every day,
they put their jogging suit and their running shoes to find their favorite cheese. The two mice use the
try error method, they went to one corridor at the time and if they do not find cheese, they moved to
another corrector. However, the two litter people were behaving more as human. They used their
logical thinking to find their cheese. When they find the Cheese Station C, the two mice were
getting up early and go there to get their cheese. However, at the same time they were noticing that
the amount of cheese were reducing thus they decided to start looking for another station ahead. On
the other hand, when the two litter people found Cheese Station C, they just relax and assume that
the cheese would be there forever. One day all cheese were gone. This does not surprise the mice
because there were noticing the change and were adapted for it. However, when the two litter people
saw that all the cheese disappear, they get frustrated and start to complain and blame each other. It
was hard for them to find a solution because they do not move with the cheese. Nevertheless, Haw

1. Would a TNA be needed in this situation? Why or why not? If yes, who would you need to talk
to? In the case of Ms. Dillman at IMP, I do not think a task needs analysis is going to fix the
problem nor would it have prevented it. Under normal circumstances, it would be a necessity to first
perform one; I feel that in this case there are major underlining causes for concern, one being that a
hostile work environment has been created. There is a breakdown in communication between the
employee and her supervisors. This is apparent when she explains to HR the problems she is
experiencing and even took medical leave to escape the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
3. Why has the Commission insisted on training for the whole company, when the problem is clearly
only Mr. Pettipas? Elaborate. I agree with the Commission's insistence on the entire company
receiving training. It may have been only Mr. Pettipas that acted out in such a way, but the silence of
everyone else is disturbing. It leads one to believe that maybe they agreed with Mr. Pettipas'
behavior. Their silence in the matter was as good as acceptance and IMP cannot take the chance that
this situation could arise again. It was a precautionary measure for the company to require all
employees to take the necessary training to prevent this occurrence from happening again in the
future. 4. In order for training to be effective, what other things do you think need attention?
Besides, OJT and KSAs the nontraining needs have to be addressed in sexual harassment policies
that apply in the workplace, creating hostile environments, diversity training and interpersonal skills
would all be useful for this crew. They could also benefit from some team training also. As stated in
the text, there is noticeable difference in effectiveness with the use of teams. Maybe, if there was a
team effort at IMP the other co–workers would have a sense to stick together whether male or
female and speak up for what is right.

Compare The Nutritional Needs Of Infants And Toddlers
There are many different nutritional needs, diets, and affiliated diseases for infants and toddlers. In
these years, the child is growing rapidly and needs a variety of food. It is all up to the mother to
make sure her infant or toddler is getting the nutrients it needs.
As they get older their calorie needs differ. Toddlers need between 1,000 to 1,400 calories a day.1
Children growing need a good mix of proteins, grains, fruits, vegetables, and dairy in their diets.
Some examples of protein are red meats, nuts, and legumes. Wheat, rice, and cereals are grains.
Dairy is yogurt, milk, and cheese. The micronutrients vitamins and minerals are also need, but they

Diet Calories, Weight, Height, And Activity Level I Need...
Based on my age, weight, height, and activity level I do agree that 2000 calories daily is appropriate
for nutritional needs. Since I work out daily and intensely I am able to burn off calories, preventing
me from gaining weight. This is the calorie intake I've been on for over a year and I am able to
maintain my weight. The daily calorie percentage is quite high on this item since it's at 48%. I would
have to exercise for at least 145 minutes to burn off those calories. This maybe reasonable for a
person who is very active, but may not be reasonable for a person who is not active. It defiantly
seems too high, even for myself who works out three times a week for 60 minutes. So this brings me
to the calories and serving size. For one serving its 558 calories from fat and a total of 972 per
serving. So the sizing size is a cup and 2 teaspoons and although this would be considered a
reasonable serving size (pro), the calories are way too high in fat, which is a (con). Only "25–35%
from your daily calorie intake should come from fat" ("Know Your Fats," 2015). So for my calorie
intake of 2000 it should be between 56–78% ("Know Your Fats," 2015). The percentage of fat was
99% for this product way too high, and remember 7 oz. was a cup and 2 teaspoons. We "need fat in
your intestines to help absorb the fat–soluble vitamins A, D, E and K from food" ("Know Your
Fats," 2015). These "vitamins play a role in maintaining healthy skin, bones, teeth and eyes and are

Dog Foods Research Paper
Spend time at any pet store and the choice of dog foods to feed your dog is in abundance. How do
you know which to choose and which is good for your dog? The answer to that is simply, you do
not, let your dog choose. Although there are some basics that are recommended.
If you have purchased your dog from a breeder, ask the breeder what they recommend to feed your
new pet. A good breeder should be able to tell you what has worked best for their dogs. This is a
good place to start. However, if you have adopted your new dog, then it will be up to you to figure
out what is good for your dog and what is not. The dog will certainly help you in determining the
right food for him.
Always read the labels on a dog food package. What you want to look at is the first ingredient. You
do not want to see meat meal, this can be anything within the food including road kill. Chicken Meal
or Lamb Meal is a good start. You also always want to see the word meal; whole meat without the
Meal is mostly water. Most nutritionists prefer chicken based dog foods as they are easier to digest.

A church whose pastor and others in leadership have failed to put in place a proactive plan for

The parent or mature Christian is fully engaged in the mission of Jesus Christ. People who are in
this stage are those who are witnessing and discipling others, in the same manner that he or she was
discipled. They are looking out for the immature Christians, and taking them "under their wing" to
encourage, listen to, and strengthen them to maturity in Christ.
The four spheres of relationships are as follows; the relationship with God, the relationship with
family or home, relationship with church and believers, and the relationship with the world. The
most important sphere is the relationship with God. This sphere or the relationship with God needs
to be vibrant, fresh, and personal. All of the other spheres will work or be in line when our
relationship with God is in line.
The sphere dealing with the home can be taxing at times. The relationship here is much easier when
everyone in the home are Christians. However, if dad is a Christian and mom is not, or vice versa, or
perhaps a child or children surrender their lives to the calling of Jesus, and mom and dad have not,
family relationships and harmony in the home can become much more difficult. Paul writes about
how the relationships in the home should be. He talks about how each person should deal with the
other. The book of Genesis tells us the story of Noah and how he was a successful father and
husband. He was able to reach his entire family for God. It was his family that was saved

Persuasive Essay On Owning A Dog
Our dogs give us time and affection like no other. It is our duty and obligation to provide for these
animals with as much love and care. And since different breeds have different needs and
personalities, dog care can be tough to master. Upon owning a dog, you will have to learn basic dog
care. This means, as the proud owner of a canine, you now have to feed, bathe and train your pet.
These are hotels or restaurants that offer dog care service from their own doggie menu to a daycare
for dogs and even a doggie spa. Whether you choose a professional dog care institution to take care
of your baby or just skip the extravagance and train poochie yourself, remember that your dog is
another living creature that needs your love, time and attention. It may seem so tiring but it's worth
it in the end.
Are you considering on adding a new four–legged member to the family? Have you thought about
what you will need to take care and maintain one?
Whether you want to buy a dog or adopt a dog you need to make sure you are willing and able to
commit yourself to the responsibility of owning one. There are things you should consider before
actually bringing a dog home. The following is just a few of them for you to review: Environment
Expenses (vet; food; crate/kennel; etc.) Availability
The first thing to consider is whether your environment is suitable enough for a dog. Compare the
size of your home to the number of occupants. Is it big enough for you, all the other members in the
house and a new dog to comfortably live in & share? Whether you adopt or buy a dog it is unfair to
bring one into an environment that is overcrowded. It can cause behavior problems with the dog
which can be difficult for everyone in the house. It is your responsibility to take in consideration
everyone and everything when preparing to welcome a dog into your family.
After you're certain your living space is suitable for a dog you need to sit down and calculate some
expenses into your budget. A dog is not free even if you are handed one as a gift. Consider the
veterinary bills. If and when your dog gets sick or needs shots, its medical treatment has to come out
of someone's pocket. How about food? Your dog has to eat. You should also

possible ways of dealing with them. Also I have general talks with management and colleagues and

When carrying out a awareness raising activities me and my colleagues would discuss what points
we need to cover and each would carry out major research, when we are doing the activity one

When an activity has taken part everyone whom has been involved in that activity would document

Part III
The Writepoint program was really useful in understanding and assimilating my missed used
conjunction and sentence fabrication skills in writing in the language of English. For me it was a
great tool, and the quickness to give the correction to the student is unremarkable. Now I think this
program lacks a bit of words and vocabulary issues. Sometime it spots the problem in your writing
but it doesn't help you get the correct word you need for the paragraph. I had lots of problems trying
to find other types of verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, nouns and pronouns for the one I missed used in
the paragraph. It would be more easy for the student if this type of program had some type of
dictionary applied to it so it becomes more accessible to students are not that dominant of the
English vocabulary. But in conclusion it is a great asset to have when writing essays or any casual
writing you are tying to do in a language that is not your native or you dominate.
Part IV
The different elements that are used to make paragraphs, essays and thesis are really important to
know and master when pursuing an university level education. Its common to see college students

have this type of communication and writing classes that help you develop the different elements of
writing and speech. Knowing and developing this types of skills are crucial and

improve and enhance the performance of an individual, by creating and adding new technologies to
the game and these include changes in football boots, creating goal line technology and designing
new clothes but most importantly science had also played a major role in revolutionizing the diet
and nutrition needs of an athlete.
Background Information
Footballers nutritional needs play an important role in becoming an elite player, in fact the
importance is so highly important that every elite level player knows it's importance and follows a
specific diet in their respective clubs and their personal lives. One of the greatest managers to ever
grace the game Arsene Wenger has also mentioned "food is like kerosene. If you put the wrong one
in your car, it's not as quick as it should be" (Wegner, 2003). To create a perfect diet different factors
should also be considered such as timing of every meal, the amount of calories and carbs needed,
hydration, micro nutrients, vitamins, fats and protein. All these

My major will be general business; the reasoning behind this choice is I have always been fascinated by business. In this regard i feel like having a general business degree will help me find a job in anything business as I will have a wide spread knowledge on the topic, while I do love business that is not my main goal. To understand that you have to look at my minor, this will be communications. I have always been a people person, I loved talking with everyone about anything and understanding their interests and expressing my own. In the past semester I took a speech class and found I really enjoyed it which got me thinking about what i wanted to do when I graduate. This is when it all comes together. My major is business which will give me the background into business that I need. My minor is communications which will give me the skills I need to go into either public relations or a salesman for a large company. I feel the importance of these degrees should be easily identifiable. Everyone needs someone to talk for and be the face for a large company. Also when you are in this field you need to use what is called the reflecting image which is when a client talks to you, you let the client know that its ok to continue to talk and make them feel more comfortable to talk. This is also a listening skill that makes a worker client relationship work. Then next you want to reassure the client feelings to them that they have told you. Sexual desire should be able to be open to talk to your parents or with your spouse/boyfriend or girlfriend. All of this gives great thought to the fact that in every type of person they have some form of a sexual desire whether they want to admit it or not. It is known that a lot of times guys are big on not wanting to admit they want sex or perhaps is thinking about sex. It is also known that it is true especially in the younger group versus the older crowd. That of course leads to another important part that everyone has some form of a sexual desire in their life time. Of course each persons desire perhaps might not be the same as someone else's desire or even their need for sex. These desires of course happen at different times in a persons life and at different age groups as well. Sex might be important when a person is younger, however when a person becomes older depending on the person and their age it might not be important to them any longer. If we think outside of the box for a minute, the perfect example of this would have to be the fact that a sixteen year old boy wants to experiment with sex because he has been told about it because he wants to be in the popular group with the other boys. All of that is driven on peer pressure. Then of course we look at the it another way if perhaps you were a sixteen year old female and they do not want to have a sexual ... • 15. The Benefits Of Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship is a thrilling and exciting journey. The possibilities of financial freedom and professional gratification are abundant. At the same time, the challenges can be unforeseen and discouraging. As a result of the challenges, many people throw the towel in and accept defeat. If you're in a direct sales business, you have the unique opportunity to be an entrepreneur yet still have the safety net of a company to give you guidance, tools and more. If you really want to thrive in a direct sales model, it's more than possible. In order to reach your goal of success, there are four tips you'll want to keep at the top of your mind as you write your business goals down. 1. Be a product of the product. It makes no sense to sell the product if you don't use it. Consider yourself a walking billboard for the product or services you sell. If you're in a direct sales company that sells health supplements and nutritional products, you should look like the epitome of health. Be the best advocate of the product to show people that it actually works. Word–of–mouth marketing is the most contagious tactic and will get the word around quicker. 2. Build a strong following on social media. While you don't want to rely on one post making it big and going viral, understand that this isn't too far–fetched with social media. When you build a strong following of loyal fans, as they like your content, it'll get shared more and pushed in front of new people. In order to build a strong ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 17. What Dynamics Contribute To The Elijah Syndrome Short Story 1. Elijah's zeal for the Lord's work had risen to a crescendo just prior to his fearful flight in this passage. Why is it often difficult to hear the Lord's voice when you are feeling especially busy and successful at "doing the Lord's work?" I believe that human nature once a person is succeeding in God's work tends to focus on how good they are doing and forgets it is not by their own power. Once a person starts to feel successful they may think they are doing it on their own and do not need help from God. When the thought creeps into our mind, a Christian may be less likely to listen and seek God's voice and plan. I belief Elijah started to trust his own might and knew he could not stay safe from the queen and her power. Elijah forgot about the power of God in this moment of fear. When Elijah started to feel busy he thought he didn't have time to wait for God's direction. A Christian a person must save time to listen to the Lord's voice and His direction. Elijah was so focused on what was happening around him and the threats on His life he ran away instead of asking God for His protection and guidance. 2. What dynamics contribute to the Elijah Syndrome–the sudden onset of fear and despair after a peak experience with God? The strong threat from Jezebel that she would take Elijah's life terrified him. Jezebel was infuriated at Elijah for having her prophets of Baal killed. Her wrath was focused on Elijah even thou he was following God's will. Elijah became overwhelmed ... For instance, weather delays where customer miss their connecting flights, airlines partner with one another to get the customer to their destination the same day. Through out my childhood and teenage years, my mother and father tried to force God down my throat and not till this life changing moment did I realize why. I could have been living a worldly life striving for popularity, having expensive things, and living in sin, but I chose to be a follower of Christ because he gave his life for me. I could feel an intense pounding in my heart telling me that God loves me and wants me to be one of his followers. I went home that day and wanted to figure out what more I could do to get closer to God. I read up on the bible and my next step was to get baptized in water so that I can be born again. September 19, 2010, I put on my white, long, satin dress with jewels and rushed to rooster rock state park where I would be baptized. This was the happiest day of my life. This day meant that I would finally live and serve God, because he sent his son Jesus on earth to die for our sins so that we wouldn't have to. In exchange for his sacrifice I chose from this day on to proclaim his name and spread his word so that others could experience the joy, love and happiness I feel on a daily basis. It came the time to get in the water and be dunked, I was nervous, but when my head came out from under the water I felt completely new and washed of my sins. Ever since freshman year in high school I lived a life of unhappiness. I never was completely satisfied with my life and I didn't understand why. • 23. Paying College Athletes Essay Paying college Athletes Paying College Athletes, has been a problem topic for a while. Paying college athletes can have a lot of positive effects, it can teach these young athletes how to handle money, it gives them some form of income especially if some of the athletes do not have job, during the football/ basketball season etc. And they can kind of see what it will be like in the pros as far as being paid to play, I'm not saying pay them like the pros like $5,000 a game but I'm saying like pay them $100 a game, just something, and a lot of people will say isn't a scholarship enough, well sometimes it's not. Most athletic scholarships only cover a portion of the cost and you are supposed to cover the rest on your own. And if you don't have a job during the season or your barley are able to work, it can be hard for athletes to make ends meet obviously. Like in the case of this basketball player Shabazz Napier stated, "I don't feel student–athletes should get hundreds of thousands of dollars, but like I said, there are hungry nights that I go to bed and I'm starving,". I mean there are players that are really struggling just to be able to eat, and colleges want these same athletes to be at their very best at all times, but how can they, when they cannot even meet their own nutritional needs. Another case is Bo Wallace, a QB at Ole Miss' stated "A lot of guys go to bed hungry at night". "That's real!". He also stated in an SEC Media Days session, "We have our ... Safe Environment: For the first part of my observation I noticed that the environment was not in the best shape that it could be, so I asked the program supervisor "John" why the environment looked like it was under repair and he explained that the whole school was under construction. Through my observation I did notice that for the most part the environment was safe, but it did have major hazards that concerned me. The environment had safe ratios, for example, in the specific class that I observed there was seven infants and two adults the caretakes informed me that it is regularly eight infants in the classroom four infants per adult, but a child was out sick with the flu. In addition, I noticed that in the front part of the classroom where the door entry and fire extinguisher are located there was a fire and emergency plan that includes emergency information and a plan to get the infants to safety. The classroom also had emergency numbers posted by the phone area and I was told that all emergency cards were stored in a file card holder that is easy to access. Furthermore, throughout my observation I noticed that children could take risk opportunities like running around, climbing, and playing in tent areas without injury and with constant supervision. The classroom I observed was accepting of constant interactions, but they always made it clear to the children that it was not appropriate to hurt one another. With the help of Santiago Levy who was an economist, Progresa was developed to help break the cycle of poverty in Mexico. This decision was based on research conducted by social science analysis, which proved to have worked. According to the research, mothers tend to invest in their children's education, healthcare and nutritional needs more than any other parent. Therefore, it made logical sense to have the mothers' be responsible and eligible for the cash grants. In this choice, positivity seemed to have been the outcome. Child health improved in the Progresa areas. For example, children under 5 years of age in Progresa, who were required to seek well–child care and received nutritional support, had a 12% lower incidence of illness than children not included in the program (Levine, 2007, p. 70). In regards to education, enrollment grew for the girls and the boys while child labor decreased significantly. Nutritionally, the children in the program had less sickness or ... • 52. Diet Calories, Weight, Height, And Activity Level I Need... Based on my age, weight, height, and activity level I do agree that 2000 calories daily is appropriate for nutritional needs. Since I work out daily and intensely I am able to burn off calories, preventing me from gaining weight. This is the calorie intake I've been on for over a year and I am able to maintain my weight. The daily calorie percentage is quite high on this item since it's at 48%. I would have to exercise for at least 145 minutes to burn off those calories. This maybe reasonable for a person who is very active, but may not be reasonable for a person who is not active. It defiantly seems too high, even for myself who works out three times a week for 60 minutes. So this brings me to the calories and serving size. For one serving its 558 calories from fat and a total of 972 per serving. So the sizing size is a cup and 2 teaspoons and although this would be considered a reasonable serving size (pro), the calories are way too high in fat, which is a (con). Only "25–35% from your daily calorie intake should come from fat" ("Know Your Fats," 2015). So for my calorie intake of 2000 it should be between 56–78% ("Know Your Fats," 2015). The percentage of fat was 99% for this product way too high, and remember 7 oz. was a cup and 2 teaspoons. We "need fat in your intestines to help absorb the fat–soluble vitamins A, D, E and K from food" ("Know Your Fats," 2015). The answer to that is simply, you do not, let your dog choose. Although there are some basics that are recommended. If you have purchased your dog from a breeder, ask the breeder what they recommend to feed your new pet. A good breeder should be able to tell you what has worked best for their dogs. This is a good place to start. However, if you have adopted your new dog, then it will be up to you to figure out what is good for your dog and what is not. The dog will certainly help you in determining the right food for him. Always read the labels on a dog food package. What you want to look at is the first ingredient. You do not want to see meat meal, this can be anything within the food including road kill. Chicken Meal or Lamb Meal is a good start. You also always want to see the word meal; whole meat without the Meal is mostly water. Most nutritionists prefer chicken based dog foods as they are easier to digest. ... The parent or mature Christian is fully engaged in the mission of Jesus Christ. People who are in this stage are those who are witnessing and discipling others, in the same manner that he or she was discipled. They are looking out for the immature Christians, and taking them "under their wing" to encourage, listen to, and strengthen them to maturity in Christ. The four spheres of relationships are as follows; the relationship with God, the relationship with family or home, relationship with church and believers, and the relationship with the world. The most important sphere is the relationship with God. This sphere or the relationship with God needs to be vibrant, fresh, and personal. All of the other spheres will work or be in line when our relationship with God is in line. The sphere dealing with the home can be taxing at times. The relationship here is much easier when everyone in the home are Christians. However, if dad is a Christian and mom is not, or vice versa, or perhaps a child or children surrender their lives to the calling of Jesus, and mom and dad have not, family relationships and harmony in the home can become much more difficult. Paul writes about how the relationships in the home should be. He talks about how each person should deal with the

  • 67. Persuasive Essay On Owning A Dog Our dogs give us time and affection like no other. It is our duty and obligation to provide for these animals with as much love and care. And since different breeds have different needs and personalities, dog care can be tough to master. Upon owning a dog, you will have to learn basic dog care. This means, as the proud owner of a canine, you now have to feed, bathe and train your pet. These are hotels or restaurants that offer dog care service from their own doggie menu to a daycare for dogs and even a doggie spa. Whether you choose a professional dog care institution to take care of your baby or just skip the extravagance and train poochie yourself, remember that your dog is another living creature that needs your love, time and attention. It may seem so tiring but it's worth it in the end. Are you considering on adding a new four–legged member to the family? Have you thought about what you will need to take care and maintain one? Whether you want to buy a dog or adopt a dog you need to make sure you are willing and able to commit yourself to the responsibility of owning one. There are things you should consider before actually bringing a dog home. The following is just a few of them for you to review: Environment Expenses (vet; food; crate/kennel; etc.) Availability The first thing to consider is whether your environment is suitable enough for a dog. Compare the size of your home to the number of occupants. Is it big enough for you, all the other members in the house and a new dog to comfortably live in & share? Whether you adopt or buy a dog it is unfair to bring one into an environment that is overcrowded. It can cause behavior problems with the dog which can be difficult for everyone in the house. It is your responsibility to take in consideration everyone and everything when preparing to welcome a dog into your family. After you're certain your living space is suitable for a dog you need to sit down and calculate some expenses into your budget. A dog is not free even if you are handed one as a gift. Consider the veterinary bills. If and when your dog gets sick or needs shots, its medical treatment has to come out of someone's pocket. How about food? Your dog has to eat. You should also ...
